When, travelling my personal requirements are accommodation that's peaceful, stylish and superbly comfortable with a luxurious king bed. So i know how important it is to provide just that! You will find a romantic king bedroom with a new bed, and a spacious living room, with a useful and fully equipped kitchenette. The ceilings are high, the floor is hardwood and the wood fire is ready to be lit. Lots of firewood provided for each night that you stay you are not asked to pay more for firewood🌸

You have private access to the cottage from the front french doors, the large side deck or the french doors in the bedroom. Each access point is unique and provides a special aspect of the garden for you to relish. A perfect way to relax and restore the inner you. Falling asleep to a gently bubbling fountain is included!

Should an amble along the Leura Mall with its picture perfect village shops and cafes be on the agenda, a short and an easy 300m walk takes you there. Restorative bush walks are nearby as are local attractions such as Leura Cascades or the Three Sisters to name just two. Come and walk the newly opened Grand Clifftop Walk at the end of the street 😊

Delightful little cottage - used to be on an old dairy farm, these days it's residential. Close to Leura shops/restaurants & a short drive from the magnificent escarpment views - or walk down the road to MineHaHa Falls for a picnic.

The front verandah looks onto a lovely front courtyard with a fish pond and fountain & the back deck is shaded by a huge old tree fern. Heat your soup looking onto the grove of lovely mountain ash trees. Settle in for a winter evening next to a big gas log heater. Springtime puts a splendid show on with maples, cherry blossums and lots of natives. Escape the excesses of the summer heat, with cooler nights.

Quiet and private (although it is in a residential area, so there are houses around, including another cottage on the property where the owners live, including a dog). Set on just under an acre. It's a simple, cosy retreat.

The cottage is located in the heart of historic Leura. Just a few minutes' drive to Leura Village with its National Trust listed streetscape lined with cherry blossom trees, fine dining restaurants, cafes, gourmet deli's, and fashion and home ware boutiques.

The cottage is set in half an acre of beautiful gardens designed by world famous landscape gardener 'Sorensen", renowned for some of the finest gardens in Leura.

There is a spacious front deck for outdoor living with views over the stunning garden, as well as an extensive rear garden for entertainment and relaxation.

The Cottage

In early 2017, the cottage was lovingly renovated throughout with stunning polished wood floors, brand new fully equipped kitchen, renovated bathroom and with elegant furnishings in every room.
A spacious living room, furnished with plush classic couches, cushions and coffee table flows into a dining room with a long country style dining table and sideboard. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook sumptuous lunches and dinners, including many extras such as an Aldi pod coffee machine.

Each of the two queen bedrooms are beautifully decorated, with crisp hotel linen and duvets. The third spacious bedroom contains four bunk beds and sitting area.

The central bathroom has been fully renovated with both a bath tub and shower, fluffy hotel quality white towels and amenities pack. A separate guest toilet is adjacent to the bathroom.
Gas heating throughout ensures the cottage is always warm and inviting in winter, with window screens and fans for the warmer months.

The cottage offers FREE Wi-Fi for all guests, along with a large FHD TV in the living room, as well as an extra TV/DVD combo in the master bedroom. All commercial TV channels are available, plus a broad selection of DVD movies in the living room along with Chromecast so that you can cast and view your own Netflix / Stan and YouTube channels.

The space
Lavender Cottage has a living area with a sofa bed (Queen) and a separate lounge with overall seating for 5. there is also a dining table. This area is air conditioned and also has a cozy log effect gas fire. For entertainment it has good size TV and DVD player with a selection of movies.

The are two bedrooms one with a Queen bed and the other with a double bed.

The bathroom is recently renovated and has a walk-in shower and a heated floor for the cooler winter months.

There is a good size modern kitchen with a range of appliances.

At the back overlooking the garden, relax in the Sun / Games room which has a small TV, record player with a collection of vinyl records plus active blue tooth speakers, a home library and board games, if the weather is inclement.
The laundry is next to the sun room area.

The cottage is surrounded by gardens and has a beautiful lightly wooded / bush outlook on three sides.

Guest have full use of cottage and gardens.

The front and back gardens close to the cottage are fully fenced. In the back garden there is a rustic hardwood table and BBQ, plus a Hills Hoist. In spring the trees on the knoll beside the drive give a beautiful display of spring flowers

Beyond the back garden gate, there is another rear garden area that is partially fenced. This area has a Temple Day bed (cushions stored in the potting shed which is unlocked) and also a herb garden with water features.

The Blue Mountains is a huge area with a massive National Park featuring many walking tracks. If you are travelling by car you will reach the edge of it after about 60 minutes of travel along the Great Western Highway. Katoomba is the main regional centre of the area with many shops restaurants and adventure companies offering tours of all kinds. There is an excellent hop on hop off bus service adjacent to the Katoomba railway station that will take you around approximately 24 local attractions ranging from parks and gardens to historic homes and museums. Katoomba and Leura are joined together. The centre of each town is only about 4 km apart. There is a major tourist office located at Echo Point, Katoomba where you may also view the famous Three Sisters after you have collected all the information on the local sights. Nearby is the famous cable car and the steepest railway in the world at Scenic World. See the “local attractions” at the top of this page for more information.

As this is a quiet residential area, any breach will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

PAYMENT POLICY
Deposit: A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings made more than 30 days before the arrival date.
Balance Security Bond: The remaining balance and the refundable security bond must be paid 30 days before the arrival date.
Full Payment: For bookings made within 30 days of the arrival date, full payment and the refundable security bond are required at the time of booking.
Transaction Fee: A non-refundable 2.9% Stripe transaction fee applies to all payments, including the bond.
Statement: Payments will appear as ACCOMMODATE BLUE MOUNT LENNOX HEAD on your bank statement.
Agreement: By making payments, you agree to our terms and conditions.
Bond Refund: Bond refunds are processed 7 business days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made within 30 days before arrival are non-refundable. Cancellations made 31 days or more before arrival incur a non-refundable AU$5.00 channel manager fee.
Date Transfers: Changes to booking dates are not permitted within 30 days of the arrival date.

The house has been luxuriously appointed with antique furniture, Art Deco style artwork and sculptures, and retains many of its charming original features such as the lighting fixtures, ornamental ceiling roses and coloured glass panels.

Cooks will love the newly renovated kitchen, with brand new appliances and all crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and utensils provided for you to whip up a family feast. A selection of tea, coffee, condiments and even a Nespresso machine (with pods provided) for the coffee lovers!

Outdoor Spaces:
The terrace is a perfect spot to enjoy a family meal, a glass of wine or cup of tea overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens with glimpses of the escarpments beyond the treetops.

Heating:
There is ducted central heating throughout the house, as well as a large open fireplace in the lounge room for the perfect mountains winter ambience. The downstairs studio space has portable electric heaters.

Conveniently located only a short drive to Leura Village shops, cafes, restaurants and quirky antique stores. A favourite spot for coffee or brunch, and to pick up a one-of-a-kind, locally-made gift or souvenir to take home with you.

The spectacular Sublime Point scenic lookout is only minutes away, and Fairmont Golf Club and Resort at the end of the street. National Park bushwalks, waterfalls and popular wedding venues are also all nearby.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the Leura Everglades, local parks and gardens. Spectacular waterfalls, scenic lookouts, National Park bushwalks and popular wedding venues are also close by.

Katoomba, Scenic World, and the world-famous Three Sisters lookout at Echo Point are only 5 minutes drive away.

The Jenolan Caves, Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens, Mount Victoria and Blackheath are all also easily accessible by car on the Great Western Highway.

The house is also only a short taxi ride from Leura train station. Trains arrive and depart for all villages and towns of the Blue Mountains as well as central Sydney.

For guests without a car who want to do lots of sightseeing, we recommend the "Blue Mountains Explorer Bus" that stops at all the villages, lookouts and major tourist attractions in the Blue Mountains region. You can buy a ticket just outside Katoomba train station.

A box of complimentary firewood, fire-starters and matches are provided. Additional firewood is available from the Katoomba Bunnings, Mitre 10, Leura Woolworths or any of the service stations along the Great Western Highway. Otherwise, there is ducted central heating throughout the house to keep you toasty warm!

The downstairs bedrooms/studio can be made available upon request for bookings of 5 or more guests.

Please note there is no air-conditioning or cooling at the house. However, the house does catch lovely breezes with the windows open.

Should you leave the property in a state that requires additional cleaning beyond the cleaners normal time/fees, this cost will be deducted from your security deposit.

- Check-in time is after 3pm. Check-out time is by 11am. Unfortunately at this time we cannot guarantee early check-in or late checkout requests due to the extra cleaning required between guests for COVID safety.

- Please make sure you have selected the correct number of guests before confirming your reservation. Bed linen and towels are supplied for the number of booked guests only.

- Children over 12 months old are considered a "child" not an "infant". This is due to additional cleaning and linen costs and the extra wear and tear of toddlers vs babies. If your child is over 12 months of age, please add them to the booking as "child" when entering guest numbers.

- Only guests on the reservation are allowed on the property at any time. If extra guests or pets are found to be staying on the property, or if a noise complaint is made by neighbours, you may be asked to leave immediately with NO REFUND.

- Strictly NO parties, events or gatherings of any kind allowed without prior written permission from the owners/managers. This is a place for small groups, families, couples or solo travellers to enjoy a quiet stay of rest and relaxation.

- No shoes inside the home please.

- Sorry, strictly NO pets allowed for the safety and comfort of guests with severe pet allergies.

- To respect our neighbours, we ask you to please be mindful of your noise levels before 8am and after 10pm - especially outdoors on the deck.

- Please note the house is located in a residential area. Loud noise, music, shouting, etc. after 10pm on weeknights (or midnight on weekends) will likely result in the neighbours making a noise complaint to the police. You may be asked to leave immediately with NO REFUND.

- Please clean the BBQ after use. An extra cleaning fee of $100 will be deducted from your security deposit if the BBQ is not cleaned.

- Strictly NO smoking indoors. If you wish to smoke outdoors please place all cigarette butts in the red bin outside. Please do not throw cigarette butts in the gardens or put in any of the indoor bins.

- Please remember Airbnb is a community and you are staying in someone's much-loved family home, not a hotel or a hostel. With this in mind, please treat the space with respect and leave it as you found it - dishes washed or placed in dishwasher and turned ON, surfaces clean, all rubbish disposed of in outdoor bins, furniture returned if moved, coasters and placemats used to protect the furniture, and items such as toys, puzzles, games and books packed away.

- Should you leave the property in a state that requires additional cleaning beyond the cleaners normal time/fees, this cost will be deducted from your security deposit.

I would stay there again and I’d recommend to others but I’d make them aware that it’s only a 3 bedder."

Our beloved holiday home is in a peaceful street only 10 minutes walk to Leura Mall with its cafes and many shops. It's close to the railway station for ease of access to all the lovely villages in the Blue Mountains.
The cottage itself has a recently decorated lounge with TV and Blu ray player and a log fire to keep you warm on cool nights. There is a large deck at the back with bbq facilities looking down on many trees, home to parrots and possums.

The space
Ours is a cottage with rustic charm in a bushland setting. You will see plenty of wildlife including birds and our resident possum who is often seen in the garden of an evening and may be heard running across the roof at night.
Being the mountains, the walk into town is uphill but as parking in town can be difficult it may be easier to walk.
The cottage is our holiday home so does have a lived in atmosphere which many of our guests enjoy. Feel free to make use of any pantry staples and fridge items.

Please note that although dogs are more than welcome our gardens are not fenced. The front garden is on a slope and so is more of a rock garden. The back garden is very steep and is pure bush. There are steps down from the back deck which are quite steep so children will need to be supervised.
We prefer to park at the bottom of the drive on the flat area but you can also pull in on the top of the drive, parallel to the road. Under no circumstances should you park in front of the black house next door.
Please note that the 4th bedroom is adjacent to the lounge and kitchen so isn't 100% private. Also, there is a skylight in the master bedroom which has never bothered us but if morning light troubles you perhaps bring an eyemask.

The location is perfect: You won't need a car. Everything is an easy walk including the train station, and bus-stops for the hop on-hop off tour buses. We are just two blocks from the boutique shops, galleries and cafes of Leura village. Walk 10 minutes to the South to visit Lone Pine Reserve, and spectacular views at Leura Escarpment and the Leura Cascades.

The space
The light-filled cottage is ideal for those wanting a base from which to explore the Blue Mountains. There is a cosy living room with sandstone gas fireplace, kitchenette*, a modern bathroom, a queen bedroom, a large light filled loft* with bespoke bunks, a modern bathroom. A games room (table-tennis) and a sunny Conservatory overlook the back garden. Sandstone verandas surround a charming courtyard with fire-pit and barbecue. The gas log fire provides instant heat and a great atmosphere in winter. An air-conditioner and two very effective ceiling fans make it comfortable no matter what time of year you visit.

*The kitchenette is compact with microwave, sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, mini fridge, and coffee plunger, (we provide tea and coffee, plates, cutlery). There is a small portable induction cooktop in the garage/games room, as well as a fridge and washing machine (for those staying longer). There are two barbecues and three outdoor tables (one large), but no dining table inside. If it is cold or wet, there is a small table in the Conservatory. Barbecue implements and frypans are stored in the small "fridge" next to the barbecue and in the cupboard under the barbecue.

The sleeping set-up is flexible. There is a queen bed in the bedroom; queen sized sofa bed in the living room (comfortable Danish Design); and bespoke bunk beds (2 doubles, 2 singles) in the loft. The accommodation is ideally suited to 2 adults with 1-4 children or two couples.

Please note that while there is level access to the front garden (living room) and back garden (main bedroom), there are 6 steps down from the main bedroom to access the bathroom. The steps are well lit, but not suitable for those with mobility issues. Also note that there is open ceiling (very high) in the stairwell between the queen bedroom and the loft.

French doors from the living room open onto a private north-facing porch and garden. Glass sliding doors from the main bedroom open onto a charming courtyard with outdoor furniture and a large private (fenced) level grassy garden with abundant bird life.

For entertainment there is WIFI, a TV (not a "Smart TV"), DVD player and extensive DVD library, as well as board games, books, toys, and table-tennis. One of the main highlights is the loft/children's play area. The pitched ceiling creates an airy, light-filled atmosphere. Guests have reported that kids love it so much, they don't want to go out at all.

The space
Weona Cottage is a newly-renovated and charming cottage offering a unique mountains getaway experience in all seasons. Whether you're after a quiet escape spent relaxing by the fire and enjoying the cottage's magnificent grounds and gardens or a warm and comfortable home base from which to explore the Blue Mountains and adventure beyond, we have all your bases covered.

Location - The cottage is tucked away down a quiet country lane with mountain and valley views but only a short and picturesque 900m walk to the main Leura village and train station. There you'll find bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and supermarkets. Leura's many attractions include famous lookouts, nature trails, waterfalls, historic garden estates, streetscapes and resorts. It is centrally located in the upper Blue Mountains, only a few minutes drive (or one train stop) to Katoomba and Wentworth Falls and a stone's throw to other historic mountain villages such as Blackheath, Mt Victoria, Megalong Valley, Hartley and Bilpin with nearby attractions including wineries, breweries, farmers markets, galleries, foodie spots, working farms and orchards.

Bedrooms - In the cottage you'll find two spacious bedrooms, both with queen beds fitted with fresh linen, plush quilts and pillows, and electric blankets to ensure the cosiest night's sleep on even the chilliest winter evenings. Relax in bed or melt into one of the armchairs and enjoy the outlooks to the cottage's rhododendron and wildflower gardens or views out to the majestic liquidambar and pine trees and valley beyond. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with an assortment of antique furniture with plenty of room to store all your travel gear and clothes.

Kitchen - The country-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need - think platters for cheese boards, wine glasses and champagne flutes, mugs for coffee and tea, pots and pans, dishes and utensils for roasting, stewing, straining and baking. You'll also find the kitchen stocked with complimentary items for you to enjoy (jams, honey, vegemite, an assortment of teas and coffees and milk) as well as essentials to save you buying all the basics (salt and pepper, oil, vinegar and a selection of sauces). The kitchen enjoys views over the expansive back garden, chooks and valley beyond - the perfect spot to cook up a delicious meal with family and friends.

Living areas and fireplace - The open plan lounge and dining room revolve around the centrally located wood fireplace. You'll arrive to a fireplace stacked and ready to be lit with a ready supply of firewood, kindling and everything else you need to keep the cottage warm and cosy during a stay in colder months. Surrounded by stunning stain glass windows, enjoy meals at the dining table overlooking the cottage gardens or relax into the lounge or armchair by the crackling fire with a glass of wine or warm drink. Board and card games are on hand for hours of entertainment or grab a book or flick on the TV and veg out.

You will also find a separate study and reading room off one of the bedrooms and kitchen - the perfect spot to open up the laptop and get some work done if needed (at least you have those magnificent mountains and tree-top views out the window!).

Bathroom - Relax and rejuvenate whether it's been a long day on the couch or hiking the mountain trails. Natural hand and body soaps with native essential oils as well as shampoo and conditioner will leave you feeling refreshed. You'll find bath salts if you're in need of a long soak, hand and bath towels, and a range of other bathroom essentials - think hairdryer, face wipes, cotton buds and first aid items.

Garden and outdoor areas - Weona Cottage is set apart by its incredibly picturesque and tranquil location with expansive park-like grounds and over one acre of established gardens and woodland for you to enjoy. Have your morning tea or coffee on the sunny deck, dine outside on the large picnic table under the liquidambar tree or have sunset drinks and roast marshmallows around the firepit. Explore the terraced gardens with their rare and exotic cool climate plants and seasonal flower gardens. Relax in the large garden swing and watch the native kookaburras and parrots visit the bird baths and keep an eye out for other garden visitors including wallabies and possums, particularly at dusk. Pay a visit to the chooks and wander down the valley toward the native bushland gulley and creek.

The space
Rosewood Cotage is a modern, beautifully furnished home, located only a stroll from Leura mall and Everglade Gardens.
It offers a variety of features and a luxury holiday feel.

Light and bright, open plan living area open up to outdoor entertaining space, complete with large deck and BBQ area.
Soak in the sun and listen to the sound of singing birds on our deck, surrounded by lush mountain garden that offers privacy and comfort in a relaxed, tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.
Enjoy the warmth and ambience of our freestanding fireplace throughout winter, creating a cosy haven you won’t want to leave!
Rosewood Cottage boasts 3 generous bedrooms, all with heating. The master bedroom offers a king size bed. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed, and the third room has one single bed convertible to a double.
Quality linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen, butlers pantry (complete with Nespresso coffee machine) and living area is open plan and equipped with modern appliances with free Wifi for your enjoyment.

PLEASE NOTE: We are happy to leave you a basket of fire wood to get you started on your stay. If more is required, we suggest for our guests to buy some from Bunnings in Katoomba or at a local petrol station.

All parts of the home is open to the guests, except the garage housing some personal items.

Other things to note
We try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, when unforeseen circumstances arise, we may need to make alterations to bookings.

We provide a few essentials to get you through the first few nights, including toilet paper, dishwashing powder, washing powder, garbage bags, soap and body wash and some cleaning supplies.

We do know that most our guests keep the property as amazing as it was when they first stepped in. Just to make sure our little cottage stays as beautiful for all guests, we need to set some rules to respect.
- Please make sure the number of guests do not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice. Additional fees will apply for excess guests.

- Any damages or loss to the contents or property is the responsibility of the tenants during their stay.
- Please be mindful of excessive noise, we respect our neighbours and their privacy.

- Check-out time has to be 10am by the latest. Please be mindful that the area will need to be cleaned and setup for the next guests, unless prior arrangement has been made.

- We take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

- Excessive cleaning will result in a loss of the security deposit.

One day before your stay I will send you all access details so you can check yourself in at a time that most suits you.

It's conveniently located just a quick stroll away from Leura Village with its cafes and boutique shops, as well as some of the most picturesque valley vantage points and world class bushwalks. We absolutely love our place, and it's our pleasure to share it with you!

Our home is a perfect blend of Blue Mountains charm and modern comfort. It is quiet and surrounded by wild gardens.

The Little Blue Cottage is a cosy and rustic ‘40 timber cottage superbly located on Leura Mall, only a short walk from the shopping and cafe strip but far enough away to enjoy a bush setting and view.

The Cottage is our holiday home. This means that staying there as an experience like AirBnb used to be - before it was soulless rentals with the minimum of equipment. You will stay in a house that is loved by its owners and is full of things they love - art, books, toys and kitchen equipment.

The space
The house has 3 bedrooms, a main and the kids room with direct access to the main bathroom, the other bedroom with access to the second bathroom.
The main bedrooms have queen beds, the kids has a baby's cot (0-3) and two single beds.

In the tv room you’ll find the heater panel. The heater is brand new, a gas-fired Brivis system that heats up the house from scratch in about 10 minutes.

We have hotel quality linen for all beds with the exception of the cot. So if you are travelling with an infant remember to bring standard cot size sheets nd blankets.

The garage (detahced from the house) is a bit decrepit and awaiting a refresh so we would advise not going in there for safety reasons.

If you are coming with your baby there are plenty of baby’s books , toys, bath toys and bubble bath!

If you are coming with your fury friend we provide small size bowls.
