You will be staying in a private, self-contained studio surrounded by pristine rain forests and fruit trees with views to surrounding hills. The studio is located under the main house, where I live.
Located 4.5 km from Montville and 4 km from Palmwoods, both with cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. 14 mins from Kondaililla National Park with beautiful views and waterfalls. In addition, approx 25 mins from Maroochydore and beaches.

Monsie's Pod private, clean, self-contained couple’s space has character-filled facilities set in expansive gardens adjoining Kondalilla National Park with views to the ocean, and is designed for people wanting quirky space to reboot and soak up Nature’s best.

Keyless entry available, and, by arrangement with the owner, guests can enjoy a campfire, access to quiet acreage paddock for picnic lunches, twilight canapes, and evening stargazing.

The space
Monsie's Pod is an original design, made of largely upcycled materials. Relax on one of the private decks, enjoying a sunset drink as you take in the views and bird life. Snuggle up in front of the pot belly stove in the character-filled living area with comfortable lounges and well-stocked library with games and puzzles to enjoy around the large table.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the rambling acreage which verges on Kondalilla Falls National Park and invites picnics and quiet relaxation, star gazing and even kite flying. Off-street parking is available in front of Monsie's Pod at 357 Western Avenue.

Other things to note
Monsie's Pod is located near the dead end of a lovely avenue, thus avoiding passing traffic.
Your host provides welcome canapes and daily continental breakfast based on local produce. A picnic hamper may be procured by arrangement.

We are only 2 kilometres from the Baroon Pocket Dam start of the Great Walk, and courtesy transfer to/from the end of this local section of the walk may be possible by arrangement. Cafes and wineries are 5 - 15 minutes drive away, and the glorious beaches of the Sunshine Coast lie within 40 minutes - 1 hour.

Relax in the open-plan Hamptons-style living area, with full kitchen, family dining and expansive views.
Outdoors: expansive covered alfresco, with-built in BBQ and kitchenette, lounge seating, and a 12- seat dining table, for leisurely meals. Two gazebos for extra dining space. Gather by the firepit, under the stars.

Guests may drive the full length of the driveway and park on the left side of the garage, outside (but not directly in front of) the garage doors.

your private entrance is located on the left side of the main house (lake view side). Walk under the covered alfresco area until you reach the door, clearly marked, for guest access, please make yourself at home, and enjoy your stay.

Safety Notice for Families:
Please note that the property, is not fully fenced, so children must be supervised at all times, when playing outdoors to ensure their safety.

Pet Guidelines:
If you are bringing a dog, we provide a temporary fenced area, with a gate for safe outdoor time. Please keep your dog within this area. if your dog is taken outside the fenced zone, they must be on a leash and supervised at all times to avoid disturbing wildlife, other guests, or nearby dogs.

We want all our guests to have a peaceful and enjoyable experience - thank you for your understanding and care.

Please note there is another guest accommodation on the property called The LoveShack Cabin, located halfway along the driveway, before you reach the main house. This cabin is also listed, on Airbnb and may be occupied during your stay.

For larger groups or extended families, both properties can be booked together - subject to availability - to enjoy, the entire space, while still having privacy.

Guest access
Enter through stone pillared iron gates and follow the driveway down - Love shack cabin is nestled on the left, about halfway to the main house. You can back into the parking space right in front of the cabin or drive up to the main house site turning area, and drive back up to the cabin. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the tranquil area surrounding the cabin.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome. Please note, however, that the only fenced area is the back verandah.
