In the name of relaxation in 2015, the new guesthouse in Kloster Steinfeld opened its doors. From the former boarding school 64 rooms in the upper four-star standard. Only the floor plan and the staircase remind of the fact that students used to live there. The spirit of the monastery is still to be felt: the rooms, between 25 and 30 m² in size, exude a monastic simplicity combined with contemporary design and comfort. They were equipped with solid oak plank floors, natural stone in the bathrooms and natural materials for fabrics, covers and blankets. The comfortable box spring beds are generously sized with a length of 2.10m. Wifi, flat screen TV, mini bar and telescopic reading lights are standard. The rooms are decorated with works of art from the Steinfelder Akademie. In addition, all rooms are barrier-free and we have a disabled room with panoramic windows provided. A glass elevator connects the three floors of the house.

The guest house (living space: 80m²) is located in the nature reserve of the Neanderthal in a very quiet and rural environment with an unobstructed view. The city of Düsseldorf can be reached in about 15 minutes by the S-Bahn S8. The equipment is as good as new, high quality and generous. The recreational area of the Neanderthal and the proximity to the Bergisches Land seduce you for hiking and mountain biking. The plot is 5000 sqm and has a larger lawn with sunset view.

Due to the spacious grounds, the guest house is particularly suitable for pets. The type and number of pets must be specified. Deswiteren will be charged a flat fee of 12€\ day in the period from 15 September to 15 April due to the currently very high energy costs.

Located in the heart of Cologne, the property is within walking distance of world-famous Cologne Cathedral and Central Station.
