We supply a small drying rack with washing up facilities near the second bathroom sink so provided crockery & cutlery can be rinsed during your stay.
Free wifi is available. A television with DVD player and Chromecast is located in room 1.
Room 2 contains a small refrigerator, microwave, electric jug, toaster, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, crockery and cutlery.
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and sugar provided. A light breakfast (assorted mini cereals, condiments, mini fruit tubs, 1/2 loaf of wholemeal bread & 1 L light milk) is available for the first morning. You can find this in the cupboard in room 2.
A small upright electric barbecue is available for any outside cooking on request only.

Studio Daruka is surrounded by Australian bushland, just a 5-minute drive from the CBD of Tamworth and a 2-minute drive from the Hospital. The recently renovated studio is an ideal retreat for a single person or a couple. The studio has a living/bedroom area with one queen bed, a sunny kitchen, and a new bathroom. There are cafes nearby, a marsupial park, and the main town has plenty of historical places to visit.
The space
The driveway is steep getting up to the studio but once there, the area around the studio is quite level. There is plenty of parking space right next to the studio for a number of cars, caravan or even a small truck. There is an option for you to use a championship-sized tennis court which is adjacent to the studio. It is very quiet and peaceful in the studio. Sometimes there is low traffic noise at peak hours and occasionally at night you will hear the “thump – thump” of kangaroos hopping by as they find their next place to graze.
You can lock yourself away and be fully self-sufficient in the studio if you bring food and drink - walk in the paddocks, go for a bush walk, or swim in the pool in the Summer (located at the main residence). You won't need to see anyone, except maybe sometimes the owner who lives in the main residence. They do, however, respect your complete privacy. The studio uses rainwater from a tank, so please be mindful of this. Internet and a flat-screen television are available and the studio has reverse cycle air conditioning if required.

Clementine Cottage is a (small dog friendly) boutique hosted B&B tucked behind the main residence at Calala Park. The cottage & it’s garden provide the perfect respite for guests & their furry friends, located 6kms from the town centre. The cottage has everything you need - so that you can travel light. A gourmet breakfast basket is provided with enough supplies for the duration of your stay, so that you can prepare breakfast at your leisure.
$60 charge per stay for up to 2 dogs (under 10kg).
The space
The cottage is located at the back of our property - a large residential block in Calala - a suburb of Tamworth NSW. Please provide an estimated time of arrival so that we can open the electric gates at the front of the property prior to your arrival. The cottage will be open & ready for you & breakfast supplies in the fridge. A key & gate fob will be left on the kitchen bench but it is most likely that I will be home to greet you x
The cottage & dog yard is not suitable for dogs over 10kg, it has been designed with smaller dogs in mind - like our own!
We do not let our dogs out the back when we have guests - your fur-baby will have free reign!

The cottage has it's own fenced garden, & there is also a secure yard should you wish to go out & about without your fur-baby. The dog yard has a doggie-cam which you can log into (just download the Nest app) & check up on your little one, my dogs & I will also keep an eye on them x
* I have found that our furry guests are most relaxed when Mum & Dad are out if all gates are left open & they can explore all parts of the garden & come in & out of the main residence to hang with Ruby, Lottie & myself as they like - I am happy to babysit when I am home.
