Welcome in our B&B right in the middle of the Oldest Town in Belgium. With a bedroom view on the tower of the Basilica, just a few steps to the Museum square, central market, largest antique market of the BeNeLux and beautiful nature reserve the “Kevie” (great for walking and biking).
We are Marieke, a local “Tongenaar”, able to teach you a few words of our old dialect and Alex, a passionate History fanatic. Breakfast can be ordered online via partner & free parking nearby

The space
1 master bedroom with bathroom attached and a view on the basilica. 1 sofa in the living room, on which you can sleep with 2 persons. A private living room with lots of board games. Diner table with utensils.

Free parking nearby (charging available for electrical cars). Train station is at walking distance. Bicycle rental is at walking distance. If you bring your own bikes, you can park them in our hallway.

We provide free coffee, tea, water, fruits and biscuits.

Breakfast at home can be ordered online via an external partner (ordering before 15:00 the day before). Alternatively, there are a lot of nice breakfast spots and bakeries nearby if you would like to enjoy breakfast outside.

The garden is normally private but if we are not home you could ask access (separate key) - depends on the circumstances.

GOOD TO KNOW: our hallway is not fully renovated yet, but this will not be of any inconvenience for the guests. It will just not be super beautiful 🥲. Thanks for understanding.

You have access to the complete 2nd Floor. The other parts of the house are private. If we are not home, we can by agreement give you access to our garden as well (separate key).

We have a beautiful adopted dog Yuki 🐾 😁. She is cute and very friendly but we understand and respect that not everyone enjoys the presence of a dog during their stay and thus we keep her separated from the guests. She will for sure welcome you with her friendly bark from her room when you first arrive, don’t worry about this.. her room is bigger than ours and it will stop after a minute.
