- "Elke and Wout are lovely. They are generous, kind, and sensitive hosts. Their home is beautiful. You will be treated to big breakfasts served on lovely China with delicious homemade bread, eggs from their own chickens, homemade jams, locally made cheeses and various meats. Dinner is also fantastic and Wout does a perfect blue steak, wonderful fish dishes and his frites are fantastic! The Dining Room has a wonderful aspect. It has lots of natural light as it overlooks the River Scheldekant and cycle path. The tables are spaciously arranged. There is an adjacent room to the dining room which contains a baby grand piano and if you’re lucky you may get the chance to play it. We stayed in the Room Suite which was beautifully designed. The stairs leading up to it are a bit steep so if you have mobility issues you might prefer a different room. The Suite had a large free standing bath plus walk-in shower, two separate basins and was stuffed with very nice toiletries. There was also a fridge which had an amazing selection of wines situated in the library, and a large desk in an alcove. There were plenty of plug sockets in the bedroom and on the desk. The bedroom had large windows on both sides so one could view the River Scheldekant and cycle path whatever side of the bed you were on. In short everything was outstanding. If The Savoy Hotel in London did a B&B this would be it. "

Whether you are travelling from near or far, at my place you will find a moment to relax and to enjoy your time. When the weather permits you can enjoy the garden with a cosy terrace!

Inside you will be able to make use of the full equipped kitchen. In the colder times you can heat the stove for some added coziness. When it is time to sleep you transform the sofa into your bed for the night.

Enjoy your breakfast at the diner table, or at the terrace if weather does permit. In the evening you can enjoy the coziness with reading one of the books that are available (English and Dutch titles) or play a board game.

You will have a private shower and toilet. And to relax completely, you can take a relaxing bath!

The kitchen is fully equipped with a small fridge for your convenience, a oven and stove together with tea and a coffee maker. Pots, pans and plates are all available for you, just remember there isn’t a dishwasher and you will need to clean the dishes in the old fashioned way.

Adjoining part of a villa, not visible from the street, away from the noise , this small space has, in addition to its charm, everything you need so that you do not miss anything. The space
The house is located in the top of Bierges, in a one way street. Nearby there are 2 Italian restaurants and a small convenience store, all within walking distance. You can go for a walk from the house because the area lends itself well. The location is perfect to get to Walibi (15-20 minute walk). You are close to Wavre and Louvain-La-Neuve and to roads that serve Namur and Brussels via the E411. The bed and breakfast is really cozy.

When you see #33, go up the driveway to the pile of wood (logs) and park there. Then go up to the house and, at the top, take a left passing below the wooden arcade. You will arrive in the garden, terrace of the cottage and the front door is there. There is a code box to access the key to the cottage.

Beautiful 20 m2 spacious bedroom with adjoining private bathroom and a separate private toilet on the 2nd floor of a single-family house renovated in 2024.

The bedroom is currently furnished with a single bed (as in the photos), but we will put a double bed (1.60 m) from July 2025.
