This pleasant resort offers a range of private buildings and good facilities in a countryside location near a river and just 1.9 mi from the picturesque city of Durbuy. Each of the modern villas includes several apartments and overlooks the picturesque countryside. The apartments feature a modern kitchenette, spacious open-plan living area and large windows. Free WiFi is offered. An indoor swimming pool and a range of other facilities are available at an additional cost near the accommodations. The surrounding region offers a wide range of activities including golf, while the River Ourthe is also nearby.

Holiday park Hengelhoef is located right on the edge of the nature area Hengelhoef, the perfect place to relax among nature, surrounded by forest, heather and hills. The holiday park itself offers various facilities for both young and old. The indoor subtropical pool offers slides, white water course, sauna and steam baths. For the kids there are an indoor playground (Villa Victor for kids up to 12 years of age), an airtrampoline, sportsfields, playgrounds and a petting zoo. There is also a small recreational lake where you can swim or sunbathe on the beach. For fishermen there's a fishing pond.

Other park facilities include a supermarket, minigolf and a restaurant/bar and you can rent bikes, paddle carts or a barbecue. During the school holidays an animation program is offered for the various ages.

Please note that the facilities may have limited opening hours outside the summer holidays. From mid-July until the end of August the subtropical pool is open from Tuesday until Sunday, the other months it's open on Wednesday- and Friday afternoon and Saturday/Sunday throughout the day.

This basic mobile home has a surface area of between 27-32m2 and is suitable for 6 persons. The living area has a sitting/dining area with TV. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, 4-pit stove, a microwave and sufficient kitchen utensils. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two each with 2 single beds. Each bed has 1 duvet and a pillow. The bathroom contains a shower, basin and toilet. You can rent a high chair, playpen or baby bath on request. Pets are allowed with a maximum of 2 per house. Not all houses are suitable for your pets, so you need to register them upon booking. The terrace offers a table, chairs and umbrella.

The pictures are exemplary to what the accommodation may look like, it's possible that the actual house varies in lay-out and decoration.

Besides the park facilities there is plenty to do in the area. A day trip to Bobbejaanland with the little ones is a definite recommendation. In Houthalen-Helcheteren you can cisit the Castle/Brewery ter Dolen, a mining museum and a sculpture park. You can hike and cycle in the nature areas such as Terhaagdoornheide, de Teut and de Maten. Around the park there is also plenty of nature, ideal to walk your dog.

Discover the cultural sights in Hasselt, Antwerpen, Maastricht and Valkenburg, also ideal for a shopping trip. In case of a rainy day why don't you visit the Wijnegem Mall near Antwerpen with its 240 shops.

- Preferences such as houses next to each other or a preferred location can be requested against a preference fee of € 16,50. You can state your preference in the remarks field upon booking. We will let you know if your preference can be honored as soon as possible. If your preference is conditional for you, you need to inquire prior to booking.
- You can order a barbecue menu on location. This includes barbecue hire, meat, sauces and salads (€ 14,95 per adult, € 9,95 per child)
- Outside the Dutch school holidays several facilities/services may be closed/unavailable.
- There is 1 parking space for max. 1 car with the accommodation. Will you arrive with more cars you may park them at the general parking area.
- Group bookings may be subject to additional conditions, such as the supervision and the location of the houses. We reserve the right to exclude a group due to certain circumstances. Additional an extra deposit may be charged.
- You may use the park facilities starting at noon on the day of arrival, but note that your accommodation will only be available after 3pm. The reception is open until 9pm on Friday. In case of late arrival you need to make an appointment about when and where to pick up the key.
