Your get a magnificent view of the mountains through the large picturesque window. It comes with it's own private balcony and washroom/bathroom facility. The balcony seats 2 where you can enjoy the views of the mountains and garden with it's 11 varieties of humming birds and other local birds as well as enjoy a lavish dinner bathed in the moonlight coming over the mountains on a full moon night. This is our most booked Suite on the compound. It also provides a great work space on the balcony, so a lot of our guests use it for that purpose as well. There's also a common lobby that houses a Television, mini refrigerator and hot station which includes a hot water kettle, coffee percolator & toaster. It is shared by this suite and 2 other Queen Bedrooms.

This hidden gem is part of a larger property nestled in the awe-inspiring mountainous northern range of the beautiful Caribbean paradise of Trinidad and Tobago. The cottage comprises two apartments. Both of them can be rented separate. We are located in Whim village. The village is landscaped wise hilly. A perfect bird sanctuary The locals are easy going and love visitors. Walk up the hill and have a view over Scarborough. We have a garden with mangoe trees and most of the time you can get bananas from our garden. Shop your groceries from a mini mart just across the road .

The Upstairs apartment has two bedrooms, kitchen , toilet and bathroom with hot/cold shower. Kitchen is equipped with gas stove, large size refrigerator, dining table for four persons, microwave , small grill , kettle and good cooking utilities. Outdoor patios provide relaxing area with a hammock and a view overlooking the village. Both bedrooms have a full size bed. There is one ceiling fan and one standing fan in the bedrooms. The nearest beach Mt Irvine Beach is about 10 min drive away. We recommend that you have a transport available to move in and out the village easier or we can arrange a driver or rental car for you. We also offer airport transits for $15 US and will take you around the island, water falls etc for a special fee.

They live in our garage and will not interact or bother guests (there will be barking/ruckus when guests arrive/leave or something startled them but usually very quiet). They do bark at night as well as the neighborhood dogs. They are doing their job. Dogs are an essential part of the security/safety in Trinidad.

Guests have access to main pool, outdoor Jacuzzi spa, three sun decks , rock pool (sea), outside gazebo, outdoor bathroom/ toilet , patio. Complimentary breakfast included .
Our three signature breakfasts are :
(1) Pumpkin Bread French Toast with easy over egg.
(2) Coconut Bake , home fries with egg muffins or frittata.
(3) Chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs.
Dietary restrictions and preferences adhered too. Pool towels available.

We are friendly/laid back hosts. We strive to make our guests feel comfortable as possible.
We want our guests to experience the idyllic ambiance at RicLys.
Guests are given privacy, however we are always available to answer any concerns that may arrive.

Other things to note
Because of our Three large dogs, we do not allow young children or pets to stay at the beach house. If you are uncomfortable with the sounds of barking dogs or allergic to dogs then our B&B will not be suitable for you.
Dinner can be provided for an additional fee (advance notice required).
Trinidad is an island so there will be BUGS, repellent strongly recommended. Rampanalgas is a rural village so there’s no nightly activities.
If you are seeking restaurants/ night life / close proximity to the city then Rampanalgas is not the village for you.

We the OWNERS (Ricardo and Lystra aka RICLYS) reside on premises with our Three Dogs.
The HOUSE is not for RENT!

We provide a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately no cooking allowed in our Kitchen.
We encourage guests to bring their cooked food.
There’s an outside Gazebo with a small BBQ grill where you can do light cooking. We also offer a single electric burner/electric skillet for use. Utensils provided if needed. No cooking allowed in ROOM!

Riclys is constantly doing maintenance since the beach house resides on a cliff/bluff and it’s in full range of the sea residues.

We don’t charge a Security Deposit, please RESPECT our property with no damages.

Due to the Pandemic Covid 19 , there’s strict cleaning protocols Airbnb implemented. We now have to charge a cleaning fee of $30US.

Please READ and FOLLOW written directions to our B&B. MAP is unreliable .

This part of the island is Rural. There may be occasional disruption in services (power/water) due to bad weather. We do have storage water tanks.

We can arrange private transport for you just ask.

Adelia's house is ideal for short-term travelers. Prices may vary during peak times. It has all the conveniences for a comfortable stay. 10-minute drive or 4.7km to the Intl airport, Piarco. 5 - 15 minutes drive to the closest mall, Universities, schools, and other shopping areas. 25 minutes drive or 20.7km to the capital city, Port of Spain. A wide variety of eating places to entice your taste buds.

It costs just TTD7 per person, less than USD1, transport fee from the airport to the Eastern Main road, with just 2 minutes walk to the house or you can hire a vehicle at USD20 to bring you to the house.
