- "The weather was wet… we got wet. The cabin was warm. And compfy. A list of what was with the cabin would have been nice. The new coffee maker was nice. But I brought the wrong filters to fit it. It was a nice break from tec. With limited cell service. And the wifi not working. It was a blessing. I got to put my phone away for a couple of days. Sometimes a negative turns into a positive. The Greg guy was great. He was busy dealing with the rain and flooding. I really didn’t want to bother him. We survived, we caught fish. We had a real good time. Would love to do it all over next year. But 3 nights wasn’t long enough. Will have to stay longer. And hope there’s no rain. Thank you for letting us stay there."

- "We wanted to find a place that would allow minimal travel for two families, one in Saskatoon and the other in Edmonton, for a family day retreat and Louise and Perry’s place fit the bill. Communication between us was excellent as I had a typo in my application which led to som confusion and they were very helpful and understanding. The cabin itself was clean, well appointed, comfortable and just what we were needing. I would definitely recommend this place for a family with children as there is plenty of sleeping accommodations and room to move. Walking distance to the lake, and a wonderful outdoor area, which we weren’t able to fully utilize as it was February. Perry and Louise were wonderful to work with and they take pride in their property. Thank you both."

- "One word to describe our stay. Perfect! We are a family of five, two 14 year old girls and a 10 year old boy. We had the best long weekend getaway. Our host Cliff greeted us shortly after we arrived. He gave us quick instruction of the property and some recreational tips. We took Cliff’s advice and attempted our first family Geo-caching adventure. We download the app and headed into the nature preserve closer by. We found 2 caches with a little bit of bushwhacking. We also took advantage of several beaches close to the cabin as well as the beach volleyball and horseshoe pit. We had hotdogs over the fire and played catch barefoot in the backyard. There was plenty of firewood to enjoy the fire well into the evening (don’t forget your lawn chairs). Turtle Lake was impressive. We stayed over the August long weekend and it was surprisingly quiet at the cabin. It rained on the second night so we stayed tucked in the cabin. We felt right at home. We watched a movie in the evening and played a few games the hosts have handy. We will be back!"
