Access to Royal Tyrell Museum, Hoodoos, Atlas Coal mine, East Coulee School museum, Golf course, Horseshoe Canyon, Sunny Spot and exploring everything the Alberta badlands has to offer.
Alberta’s flood mitigation plan for the a berm last year is completed!!

The space
Located in a small town in Drumheller Valley called East Coulee.
Property runs on well water which naturally has a yellow tinge in color. This is safe for hand washing and showering however it’s not recommended for drinking or cooking. I have provided jugs of spring water for all cooking and drinking needs.
There is coffee and a few spices provided for your pleasure.
There are 4 campfire chairs available for your use and seating at the picnic table along with roasting sticks.
Please bring your own firewood if you plan on having a fire! There are a few areas within driving distance to purchase wood.
There is no natural gas at the property but there are still carbon monoxide and smoke detectors located within the home.
Back yard is only fenced on one side. Respectfully, please ensure children and pets do their best to stay within the property.
Also please be advised that do to the location, and essentially being so close to water, naturally bugs are present. We do our best to mitigate this, we can only do so much. Nature always win!

Guest access
Please note that while the flood berm has been completed, natural vegetation is present along the access route, which could impact direct access to the river.

My place is close to Hanna, Alberta. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

The space
The cabin allows guests to get away and get outdoors without really "roughing it". It is a 2 bedroom cabin, with a private bathroom (toilet, shower, sink), full kitchen with all the amenities, TV, and DVD player. There is a BBQ on the deck for guest use, as well as a fireplace and a picnic table.
Our property is secluded enough to allow guests an unobstructed view of the night sky, but close enough to town (approx 7 min) to have access to any supplies or shopping that you need.

Other things to note
We are situated in the middle of the Canadian Badlands, between Drumheller and Dinosaur Provincial Park. We are an easy 2 hour drive from Calgary and only 3 from Edmonton. We are far enough from major urban centers to provide peace and quiet, but close enough to Hanna to access amenities such as the outdoor swimming pool, splash park, sports complex and retail shopping. We are also only 20 minutes from Prairie Oasis, which has an amazing beach and day use area - a great place to spend a summer day.
