The Space:
This Cabin is a perfect retreat for families or large groups of friends, offering four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The upstairs has three of the four bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with a luxurious king bed and a full ensuite bathroom. All remaining beds are queen.

The cabin has multiple living rooms, which is great for families with children who want to have their own space. Each living room has its own pull-out sleeper sofa, great for accommodating additional guests or children. Please note that the sleeper sofa in the basement is not usable at this moment. The property also features three full bathrooms, providing everyone with privacy.

A large deck wraps around most of the house, with a smaller one at the front, perfect for enjoying the surrounding mountains' views, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or stargazing at night.

Each living room and the primary bedroom has a TV with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime for streaming. The upstairs living room is especially spacious and features a cozy fireplace, perfect for staying warm on chilly nights.

I have to also specially commend the owners for the technology used to stay on top of check-in/check-out procedures. And I haven't even started on the chalet itself. Maybe the only weakness is the proximity to the main road. So if you are a very light sleeper you may notice vehicles every now and then (traffic is very light). Everyone who stayed at the house had no trouble sleeping. But keep in mind we appreciated the ability to jump onto the main road quickly. I have stayed in chalets that require a 10-20min drive into the woods which can really add to your drive time if you plan on activities in the day. Also the windows in the living room are large and terrific in the morning. The overall ambiance of the house and the large deck provides you a real nice view of the woods and a great feeling of a stay in the mountains. It really is the perfect getaway. If you are considering booking this property I would whole heartedly recommend staying here. We are considering going back again next year."

HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 10 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. Although *non-shedding* pets are permitted on the property we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest`s name on the reservation.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Please note that garbage removal is not included at this property, and garbage will need to be taken to the nearest refuse station upon check-out to avoid a $50 removal fee.

7. Guests must confirm current fire bans prior to using the fire pit. Any tickets issued for fires during a fire ban will be billed directly to the main renter on file for the respective date(s).

Arcade games and shuffle board were a hit; Tetris and Pacman round robin tournament anyone?Fees for VRBO's in BC, including taxes and hosting fees are simply too much these days for us to do this frequently; which is too bad- we would love to return. Everything you want in a peaceful, calm retreat - a beautiful cabin in a very quiet setting in the heart of Fairmont Hot Springs, surrounded by towering pines but conveniently located close enough to a grocery store, cafe, restaurants-all walking distance away. Pet friendly-no vacation is complete without your beloved puppy.

We've done a fantastic refresh and painted the entire interior of the cabin as well as replaced all the flooring, making it an even more wonderful escape!

Minutes from the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, and the amenities on offer there, but still secluded, peaceful, and with all the comforts of home. We do have wifi and both large flat screen TVs at the cabin are Smart TVs.

In the heart of Fairmont Hot Springs, on a very quiet cul de sac, this lovely cabin features a huge deck for relaxing and absorbing nature. Take full advantage of the BBQ on the deck, grilling your family's vacation favorites while you reminisce about the fun you had swimming in Windermere and Columbia Lakes, mountain biking, boating, floating, kayaking, canoeing and hiking nearby trails.

Unlike many VRBOs, we offer many useful extras during your stay, like laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, ground coffee and filters, an array of spices and more. As frequent users of VRBOs when we visit other areas, we know how helpful this is!

Prepare your morning coffee, take a seat outside to read one of the books from the bookshelf, and savour the peace and quiet of your surroundings. We do not have cable, but do have wifi and DVD and VHS players, as well as a large selection of movies, tv series on DVD, books, games and colouring materials.

The property features large pine trees, and an open area to play. Plenty of property for the little ones to explore, collect pine cones or rocks, and have a blast running around playing hide and seek.

Also dog-friendly. Dogs must be on leash at all times outside cabin, as cabin is not fenced in. Dog waste must be picked up immediately. Maximum of 2 (TWO) dogs per stay, and there is a $50 pet fee PER PET. No excessive barking at any time permitted. ***Please keep dogs off beds, or bring your own blanket to cover bed with for dogs.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and there is a day bed in the main area of the lower level, a high quality queen-sized air mattress, and a cot which you may set up for extra guests or children. There is also a pack and play and high chair available for use for your smaller family members. We also have a day bed in the main area of the lower level. 8 people maximum, no exceptions.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, and all the utensils, pots, pans and plates you need. Feel free to use any spices that are in the kitchen.

The spacious sitting area features large, comfortable couches and chairs, and plenty of natural light. Unwind in front of the flat screen smart tv while enjoying one of the many movies we have on offer to watch once you are worn out from enjoying all the outdoor activities in the area. DVD player provided for both main floor and lower level tvs, and there is a VHS tape player as well.

There is also a large seating area on the lower level. Challenge your family and friends to a rousing game of foosball, or play cards or a board game by the wood burning fireplace. There is firewood stocked nearby on the property. There are a variety of toys available for small children, as well as children's books, coloring books and crayons.

There is plenty of parking and space for your cars. Please park on our property only please.

Just up the hill is the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort (2 minute drive), which features a variety of activities, including the famed hot springs-the perfect place to soothe those sore muscles. Also a 2 minute drive away is A/Z Mountain Adventures, where kids of all ages can enjoy a pony ride, and they also offer trail rides for adults every summer. Be sure to check out nearby Funtasia, a local mini golf, spin 'n' bump and animal petting park; Fairmont Outpost and Outdoors offers canoes, kayaks, rafts, fishing boats and more to explore the 40-ish lakes within an hour's drive of Fairmont-not to mention our local rivers!

There are also a multitude of hiking trails right at our front door. Nearby hiking maps are available at cabin in our information folder. Mountain biking, fishing, and boating are other popular nearby activities.

There is a full-service spa at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort-a variety of spa treatments right at up the hill.

For golfers, within minutes of our cabin, there are two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole par 3 course - something for every type of golfer, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. These courses are a part of the Columbia Valley Golf Trail, offering 8 spectacular golf courses, each one with a charm all its' own.

Boa Vida cabin is also a short walk to a grocery store that also sells wine/beer and liquor, the local family-friendly pub, and the Fairmont Pizza and Ice Cream Parlour. Another restaurant within walking distance is the delicious A Mountain Kitchen, which also offers take out. There is also a coffee shop a short walk away in the main plaza. There are also several restaurants in the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort you can try. We also now have a sushi restaurant called Sawa Sushi just a few minutes walk away. Be sure to stop in at Hopkins Harvest as well, for all kinds of fresh produce and local treats.

In the winter, the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ski Area offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing - an excellent family friendly activity you will love. The terrain park is lots of fun too. The top of the ski hill is exactly 8 minutes drive from the cabin. This hill is perfect for family skiing, and the lessons for children on offer are excellent. We highly recommend them. Minutes from the cabin are many beautiful snowshoeing trails, and a fun hill for sledding. You may skate on the skating pond by the tennis courts at the resort, or go to Windermere and skate there too. Winter is fantastic in Fairmont - so gorgeous, snowy and very quiet. Perfect for families. For a more challenging ski hill, Panorama is a skier's paradise.

Come home and warm up in front of the wood burning fireplace. Roast marshmallows, or make smores. Plenty of wood on-site to keep the fireplace burning brightly.
