Our minimum stay is 3 nights, but if you see a spot between longer bookings for 1 or 2 nights and are interested, please send us an inquiry. Dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed on our community beach, however there are plenty of dog friendly beach areas nearby for those dogs that love the water!

Pet allowed: 1 small to medium dog is allowed for a fee. Please select "bringing a pet" when you select the number of people staying.

Lake Windermere Whiteway
Access to the Whiteway just steps from the cabin. The Whiteway is a 34 km (21 mile) groomed track that runs all the way around the lake and connects the towns of Invermere and Windermere. It is the World’s Longest Skating Path and has tracks for classic cross-country and skate skiing, and a cleared ice-skating track. Kinsmen Beach is one of the main starting points for the Whiteway. This spot also has a small skating rink with benches and a firepit. The other two entry points are at the Invermere Bay Condos and at Windermere Beach. Each entry point has a large timberframe sign providing user information, maps and a donation box.

Panorama Ski Hill Resort
Panorama is magical. It’s where the wild meets warmth and welcome. It’s a mountain resort and an alpine village, tucked deep into Canada’s oldest mountains. This cozy log cabin has it all! A great atmosphere with everything you need! Located in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from the town of Invermere. Close to Panorama resort, natural hot springs, etc. A great place for any summer or winter get away as there are many activities in the surroundings such as: hiking, bicycling, hunting, fishing, skating, skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, archery, etc etc. The cabin is situated in the back of the 'House of the Friesian' ranch with beautiful views on the mountains. At 'House of the Friesian' we keep and train Royal Friesian horses and which you might have seen in movies like The Hunger Games, etc. For those who like nature and wilderness and the rural: this place is like Heaven!

You can enjoy the surrounding beauty while relaxing in your own private cedar hottub that is heated by firewood.

Firewood is not included in the price. You will need firewood for the hottub and firepit/ barbeque. You are more then welcome to bring your own firewood or order firewood from us. We sell 1/4th of a cord for $140.

Here you’ll be tucked away amongst The Purcell Mountains, with views of The Rocky Mountains, all while being lakeside to beautiful Lake Windermere. People travel here year-round from all over the globe to enjoy our lake and mountain activities as well as to explore our whimsical little town of Invermere. This town has a way of making people never want to leave with its welcoming spirit, friendly locals and delicious restaurants, cafes and interesting boutiques. There’s always something to do - even if it’s just having a pint with a friend. Life is simpler here, and we know you’re going to love it.

Lake Windermere: Just steps away from your door, you’ll find private access to our exclusive ¼ mile of sandy beach located along Lake Windermere’s eastern shoreline. Here you’ll find:

Radium Hot Springs (16.6km): In just over 10 minutes, you can be at Radium’s famous natural hot springs, where you can experience soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The Whiteway (7.8 km): A 30km multi-use trail groomed for cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records. You can find an access point at Kinsmen Beach and Windermere Beach.

Golfing: Copper Point Golf Club is only a 4-minute drive from The Legacy Cabin. You’ll also be close to Greywolf Golf Course, a world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada and perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

Panorama Ski Resort (25.4 km): A world-class ski destination that the whole family can enjoy with incredible skiing and snowboarding, heliskiing, skating, shops, bars for after-ski, and so much more.

Relax with family and friends at this unique property with peaceful surroundings. Twin Peaks is two A Frame cabins connected by a walkway. Twin Peaks is located a short walk down a path of stairs to Baltac Beach on Lake Windermere. Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont Hot Springs and Ski Resort, and Panorama Village are all a close drive away. Twin Peaks is a 5 minute drive to Invermere with access to all necessary amenities.

Each cabin is equipped with a kitchen, 3 piece bath, and two bedrooms. All bedrooms are located on the top floor of the cabins. There are also pull out sofas in each cabin in the main floor living room. Each cabin has a front and back deck and outdoor eating space. Views of Lake Windermere to the west from the front decks. The cabins are equipped with linens, housewares, washer and dryer, TV, wifi and a barbecue grill. Twin Peaks has a private back yard with a fire pit and chairs.

- "If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, this is your place! My husband and I traveled with our children and this little cottage hit all the boxes for us. It was great that there is 2 conjoining cabins which worked perfectly for us as one was a “kids” cabin and the other the “adult” cabin. My kids loved it!! Each cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen which was awesome! The furniture was cozy and felt like home. We absolutely loved the back deck and found ourselves starting our day out there and finishing the night out playing cards at the family sized dining table. 5 minute walk to the nearby beach. The on-site laundry facility was perfect after a long day at the beach. The neighbors are very welcoming and friendly. We were able to bring our puppy with us which is probably one of the biggest reasons why we picked this place and it was perfect for us, my puppy loved playing with the neighbors dogs which was so nice. There was a fire ban at the time we traveled which was super disappointing as we would have loved to utilize the beautiful fire pit set up in the back yard. The owner Debbie was awesome and quick with her responses whenever we had a question. We absolutely would stay here again!!!"

Used the fire table every morning and the fire pit every evening! Private beach was a bonus, we also loved the dog beach! The walk to the beach was a little too far and there were bears in the area so we did choose to car pool instead. Would absolutely stay here again!!" - "We really enjoyed our stay in Windermere at this comfortable cabin that is set up so well for families. It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the kids loved the bunk room, foosball table, games and toys. We loved having access to the Timber Ridge private beach too--it's got a swimming area with two floating docks (one with a slide), a beach, grassy lawn with beautiful big trees, and a playground. We spent our week playing at the lake, floating down the river, paddle boarding, mountain biking, hiking, and visiting hot springs. This location offers so much to the outdoor enthusiast, and the wildlife is great too: deers feeding on bushes right up at the deck, turkeys, grouse, a blue heron, painted turtles, and even a black bear! While there is a bit of highway noise, it never bothered anyone at all. Communication with the host was excellent: we would definitely stay again!"

Welcome to Black Bear Cabin! This fantastic Invermere vacation home is located in the beautiful lake community of Timber Ridge offering 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a modern cabin feel. It also offers beautiful mountain views, 2 sunny decks, a hot tub, fire pit and a 1/2 acre of property to play and enjoy. The cabin has year-round access to a gated private beach, BBQ areas, kids playground, tennis and basketball courts. Conveniently close to the town of Invermere, which offers all shops and services, plus golfing, hiking and the Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont Hot Springs mineral pools.
The hot tub is cleaned and chemicals are balanced weekly by a local company. If you suspect it requires an adjustment we have all the supplies you need and we are more then happy to help you with the process.

Unfortunately there is no marina/ boat launch access for guests at the Timber Ridge beach. A boat launch is available 5 mins from the property, located next to Pete’s marina.
This vacation home is professionally managed by True Key Vacations Ltd. All communication will be through the True Key Vacations team via phone or email.
Great neighbourhood with quiet streets and amazing views. Access to community beach is available with day pass. Only a 5-minute drive to downtown Invermere for groceries, restaurants and shops.
Before arrival, you will be contacted by the True Key Vacations team to give you directions on accessing your vacation home. Please note that we cannot accommodate early check-in's before 4pm MST.

Private gate access and parking pass also provided for Timber Ridge beach area.
This cabin is a walk out bungalow located on a nearly 1/2 acre property of mature trees and plantings and a large open green space perfect for games and activities. There are 2 sunny deck areas with mountain views, a large fire pit, BBQ and a hot tub!

The entire home is accessible to guests aside from one locked owner’s closet. There is a selection of condiments, spices, oils, coffee and other dry goods in the cabin for your convenience, so please help yourself.

The cabin has modern furnishings throughout, a fully stocked kitchen, all required linens, towels etc, games, art supplies. and of course WIFI.

Located in Timber Ridge, this cabin has access to many private amenities. Right across the street is the private, gate access that leads you down the beach road to the Timber Ridge beach area. This area also has kids playground, tennis and basketball courts, more BBQ areas and lots of walking and biking trails.

Nearby you will find many additional amenities in the town of Invermere as well as golfing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, zip lining, Panorama Ski hill, Fairmont ski hill and access to both Radium and Fairmont hot springs mineral pools. Truly a 4 season destination!

Our cabin is 1,400 square feet. There are 2 bedrooms on main floor and 2 smaller bedrooms on the upper loft floor. There is a full bathroom on the main floor with shower/tub. The main floor is tile throughout. There is a large TV with cable and netflix/prime video and sports net +.
The upper floor has a queen bed and twin in each bedroom. There is also a full bath upstairs with a large tiled walk in shower. Upstairs it is carpet floor.
Outside there is a large deck complete with a outdoor sectional, fire table, dining table for 6. As you head down the patio stairs there is a 7 person hot tub for your enjoyment. On top of all that there is a firepit with 6 Adirondack Chairs around a fire pit for your evening marshmellow roasts. The backyard backs onto the ravine so you have a more peaceful setting.
Timber Ridge is a private year-round recreation community that includes gated access to a park, beach area, boat launch, tennis and volleyball courts, and walking trails. Award-winning golf courses, including Copper Point and Eagle Ranch are within a 5 minutes drive and Grey wolf located at Panorama ski hill is a 30 minute drive. Both Fairmont and Radium Hot Springs Resorts are only a short drive to a relaxing night in the natural hot springs. In the winter months, the Panorama Ski Resort and Fairmont Ski Resort are each less than 30 minutes away by car. The beautiful "White Way" that is looked after by the local municipality, provides over 30km of well maintained skating track and cross country ski track. The White Way is the worlds longest skating path. Hockey, ice fishing, and snowshoeing are also favorite winter pastimes around the lake.

Room 1: This is the master bedroom on the main floor. It has a king-sized bed, its own master bathroom complete with in-floor heating, giant walk-in closet, TV, a wood burning fireplace with gas assist and a balcony that connects to the outside grill area.

Room 2: This large bedroom is on the top floor is completed with a king-sized bed, TV, vaulted ceiling, its own master bathroom, and nice large closet.

Room 3: Situated on the third floor, this room has a queen-sized bed, TV, large closet, and its own master bathroom.

Room 4: Also situated on the third floor next to the recreation room. This room consists of two twin sized beds which is great for sleeping 2 people. Adults and kids will love sleepovers in this room. Complete with their own TV, closets, and master bathroom.

Your vacation in this cabin is complete with a gourmet kitchen on the main floor. Each kitchen has a Fridge, Microwave, WOLF Dual Fuel Range Stove, Asko dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, blender, slow cooker, 4-slice toaster, waffle maker, pots, pans, cutlery, Villeroy and Boch dishware, Wusthof knife block, cutting boards, mixing bowls, measuring cups, cheese grater, and many more items available on request for your cooking needs.

Main floor grand room and patio:
A large open space for gathering and spending time together. The main floor of your cabin is a large spacious open concept where your gourmet kitchen spills into the dining area that opens to the main living area. The living area has a flat screen tv and a feature rock propane assisted fireplace.
The main floor is attached to a raised secluded patio overlooking the forest around you. The dining room and grand room both have access to this patio. The patio features a WOLF grill large table and chairs and an outdoor gas assist fireplace. Note: don’t worry about bringing your own propane for the grill as we have that covered.
