Our property is located on a quiet country road near Mill Creek and Beaver Mines, Alberta. We are only a half hour from Castle Ski Resort, Crowsnest Pass, and 45 miutes from Waterton National Park. Beauvais Lake, Beaver Mines Lake, Mill Creek, Castle River, Lundbeck Falls are close by.
Nearby activities include world-class fishing, hiking, and skiing.

This tiny and rustic cabin is a peaceful getaway nestled among huge willows; with a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. We are located just 5 kms from Pincher Creek with many options for dining and shopping. Waterton Lakes National Park is 65 km south and secluded Beavais Lake is 25 km away. Many options for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming and tourist attractions. Bring warm clothes even in summer as this is a windy area and mountain air!

The space
You will bump across the pasture to find this small cabin fixed out with antiques, rustic wood, a comfy queen bed with fresh linens, little table and chairs. There is a small fridge, French press coffee pot, kettle, a few utensils and tableware. Outside you will find a water tap, patio set and a propane grill. We just updated to have your very own shower and vintage tub and outhouse , nestled under the trees right beside cabin . Our dog, Sheba will come by for a scratch behind her ears, the chickens and horses are friendly too!

Guest access
You can wander around the yard, just don’t climb over the animal fences! There is white electric fencing for the horses so refrain from touching it.

The space
Red's beautiful and cozy cabin is open and spacious. From the moment you walk in, you will notice shelves and hooks and crannies to keep your belongings tucked away in. The roomy dining booth is a great place to sit and watch your partner cook your dinner, or play a board game, and the living room houses the fireplace to warm up your toes after some snowy fun. The bathroom is home to a rainfall shower head in the large tiled shower, cosy towels, hooks to hang, and a lovely vanity.
Upstairs in the loft, a luxurious king-sized bed awaits your slumber, with built-in phone chargers and a lamp for reading. Peak outside the unique loft door to the wee upper deck for some morning sunshine. It’s a blissful sleeping space.
Downstairs, the dining booth folds down into a single bed as well.
Outside is a front patio with a BBQ grill and table and chairs for alfresco dining, and various farm animals may wander by to say hello...
We offer a portable propane fire pit for your use, for a $20 fee.
Red's Cabin sits beside the Shanti Hollow Yurt, a unique structure that hosts both guests and yoga classes, depending on the season.. Lots to take in, and loads of peaceful moments await you in this space.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and its front patio, as well as the small balcony off the upper loft. You may also wander to the bench behind the cabin which overlooks the creek. Please check in with us before approaching our donkey and horses, we'd be happy to give you a farm tour!

Other things to note
Yoga classes may be in session when you arrive or during your stay. They are generally very quiet and peaceful. You may even want to book your own private session in the yurt!
