Relax in our cozy cabin set in a scenic wooded area on a large private lot just 2 miles from beautiful Seeley Lake and 1 hour north of Missoula. Take in the spectacular view while enjoying quick access to lakes, hiking trails, and restaurants.

Seeley Lake is also a wonderful place to enjoy winter activities such as snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and more.

The cabin walks into a cozy living room with a loveseat, recliner, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. From there you enter a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and dining table that seats 4. The bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, closet and private bathroom with a single vanity, shower, washing machine and dryer.

A propane BBQ grill and propane fire pit are provided outside. If you have more than 2 people in your party or young children, there are two twin air mattresses, extra bedding, a high chair and pack and play in the bedroom closet.

We are as available as you need us to be. We will message you a welcome letter as well as your door access code prior to your arrival. Your rental agreement will detail all check-in and check-out procedures, and the welcome book in the cabin will provide all necessary ins and outs of the inclusions and local recommendations. Enjoy lounging on the covered porch with a fresh cup of cabin coffee within a stone's toss to the water. Bring your boat or boats and secure them to a new 2022 Daka dock extending well into comfortable depths for both boats and daily dives into the cool, fresh Placid Lake waters. Launch your boats just 5 minutes down the road at the Placid Lake State Park. (dock is put in on May 1 and pulled out on October 1 each year)

Not bringing a boat but still want to get out on the water? No worries. We have three 2022 Pelican brand kayaks, plus a canoe for you to use. :)

The main bedroom features eight large windows with amazing views of the lake. The sunsets from this room are truly hard to beat. In the fall and winter, add the extra nice touch of turning on the gas vintage style wood stove sitting in the corner of the room. Four underbed storage containers provide a simple solution to folded and tucked away clothing for all.

Enjoy your favorite hot or cold beverage while sitting in the soothing 104 degree water in perfect solitude! In the winter, you may not have the water skiing, but what you do have is nearly the entire lake to yourself. You might find a few ice fisherman if you need someone to talk to, but other than that, expect to hear only the calls of the wild, and not much else.

The Cabin is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The lawn is manicured and the ponds have spring visitors of ducks and geese. You can almost always catch a glimpse of our local dear lounging under the trees.

The property is close to town which also means it is close to anything that you may need and everywhere you would like to be.

Seeley Lake is also a wonderful place to enjoy winter activities such as snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and more.

The space
The cabin walks into a cozy living room with a loveseat, recliner, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. From there you enter a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and dining table that seats 6. The bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, closet and private bathroom with a single vanity, shower, washing machine and dryer. A propane BBQ grill and propane fire pit are provided outside. If you have more than 2 people in your party or young children, there are two twin air mattresses, a high chair and pack and play in the bedroom closet.

We are as available as you need us to be. We will message you a welcome letter as well as your door access code prior to your arrival. Your rental agreement will detail all check-in and check-out procedures, and the welcome book in the cabin will provide all necessary ins and outs of the inclusions and local recommendations. Surrounded by nature but just a few miles from town, beautiful, comfortable, clean cabin with mountain views, natural pond, creek, unique features, and outdoor amenities for all seasons. The cabin and owners have a history of military service from the construction and finishing of the cabin by a "Frogman," (Navy Seal) to the families' past and current military service including an active Navy Seal son. The cabin's name pays tribute to their military contributions and is called the "Seal Inn."

The space
This cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. These bedrooms have a large closet in each for storage, and a large window with views of the abundant pines. On the main floor is a kitchen loaded with plentiful cookware and flatware and utensils. There is an island with bar seating and a dining table. Between the kitchen and living room is a unique, stone fireplace system with an oven on the kitchen side and a fireplace on the living room side. The cozy fireplace is surrounded by leather couches and seating for several. The smart T.V. offers streaming service. There are several board games and cards available. The main floor also has a full bath and laundry room. Upstairs is a loft area with two queen beds, a twin bed and additional bathroom with shower.

Guests have access to the main and upper floor of the house, large decks on front and back of house and the entire 6 acre property. The property is private, and has beautiful forested areas and a mountain creek (called "Mountain Creek") running through the properties back side. As well there are two additional acres available to guests including more creek access, a natural pond, flat grassy area for badminton, corn hole, etc., and a BYOB bar area with seating, and an additional fire pit. The basement is currently used as owner's storage and is not available for guest access.

The heart of the cabin is the open kitchen-dining-living room with vaulted ceilings and ample windows. It's the perfect space to gather and take in the sweeping views of Placid Lake. A large deck, which runs the length of the cabin, provides space for outdoor eating, as well as a BBQ.
The new addition has two, private queen bedrooms. A semi-private bunk room can be found on the far end of the house and is separated from the main room by a half bath and large pantry. A full bath and laundry area are just off the main room. The kitchen has all of the conveniences of home.
Just a few miles from snowmobile trails and an extensive Nordic Ski trail system in Seeley Lake.
Use the dock to access your boat, swim, or take advantage of the owner's kayaks. There's no shortage of fun for the entire family!

Welcome to Talcott's Landing! In this hand-made pair of cabins, you will find yourself relaxing and spending time between the resort town of Seeley Lake and the peace of Trail Creek on the property.
Lovingly built by the property owners, the cabins were built from timber on the property. Now they want to share their piece of Montana with you.
The main cabin (Talcott's Cabin) has an open living, dining, kitchen area. The space is anchored by the large fireplace. (Fireplace use is not permitted) Just a step out the back onto the deck and you can take in the amazing Swan Range views!
Also included on the main floor is a full bath and a bunk room that sleeps 5.
Upstairs is a semi-private master bedroom with a king bed and more views.
Just a few steps from the main cabin is the Dacha. The main floor has an open sleeping and sitting area with a full laundry and coffee station. In one corner is another bathroom with a shower.
Relax on the deck or take in a game of horseshoes. There's also no shortage of activities in the Clearwater, Blackfoot and Swan Valleys - from hiking to boating or just wildlife watching.

Come watch the leaves turn or hike to many of the nearby points of interest. Hunting opportunities abound with wildlife including elk, deer, turkey and waterfowl.

Winter-

This is a snowmobilers paradise with groomed trails and backcountry adventures. Area trails are groomed for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Ice fishing on Seeley or Salmon lake is just minutes away.

Spring / Summer-

Watch the forest come to life with the new season of fawns and the blooming wild flowers.

Activities include visiting Seeley Lake as well as fishing the near by lakes and rivers. Hike to the near by waterfalls or mountain bike on many of the national forest trails. There are plenty of adventures that await UTVs, rafts or canoes.

The Cabin is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The lawn is manicured and the ponds have spring visitors of ducks and geese. You can almost always catch a glimpse of our local dear lounging under the trees.

The property is close to town which also means it is close to anything that you may need and everywhere you would like to be.

Guests have access to the main cabin and the small side single room guest cabin. Our property is below the boat repair shop so we ask that you park and stay on the bottom half of the lot. Driving and walking access along the road to the highway is permitted.

Located just feet off the shore of Seeley Lake, MT, the one-level Nook offers sleeping accommodations for 8 people. Enjoy the mountain sunsets on the 1200sq/ft deck, or just sit back and cook up a nice dinner while soaking up the fresh air.

The space
With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, The Nook has everything needed for a wonderful vacation for family and friends.

The Nook includes three bedrooms:

Bedroom one includes a large room with King sized bed and attached master bath. A large closet and two dressers are available for guests, and beach towels can be found in this bathroom.

Bedroom two includes a Queen bed with a full sized dress and blackout shades.

Bedroom three includes two sets of bunk beds, a full sized dresser and blackout shades. Please note due to the ceiling height in this room the top bunks are most appropriate for children.

In addition to the master bathroom there are two other full baths, with one having an oversized tub. A cozy living/dining area right off the kitchen allows space for social time while preparing meals, all while enjoying the gas insert. A TV with a Roku is available in this space as well.

Guest access
The Nook is located in the heart of Seeley and you can walk to restaurants, liquor stores, convenience stores, and bars. You will want a car to go to the main grocery store, but there is a bike trail that also takes you there, about a mile down the road.

There is ample parking on the property- an upper lot near the highway and a large lower lot large enough for multiple vehicles and trailers.

For you snow lovers out there the Nest is minutes from some of the best snowmobiling and Nordic trails Montana has to offer.

Popular snowmobile, cross country ski, skate ski, and snow-shoeing trails are a short distance from the house. For hikers the valley has hikes for every level visiting beautiful mountain lakes, peaks, and waterfalls. Be sure to take the quick loop to the oldest tamarack in the world, "Gus," he's over 1,000 years old! So much to be enjoyed.

If you love to cook or need extra space for gathering, you can't go wrong with Katie Kabin! The lovingly restored, 100-year-old cabin provides a beautiful, modern kitchen in a historical cabin that was moved to the property and completely remodeled by the family. High-end appliances and granite countertops complement the aged logs. Relax on the back deck overlooking a private pond and barbeque while enjoying views of the Swan Mountains and local wildlife. Katie Kabin includes a smart TV available for use with your own accounts.
WiFi, a full laundry and ice maker are available just across the breezeway in the laundry room. A few steps down the covered stairway leads you to the Antler Annex.
Above the laundry room and garage is a sweet surprise - The Crow's Nest. This private master suite has amazing 180-degree views of the pond, the expansive property, and the Swan Mountains in the distance. A king bed invites you to relax. The propane stove gives off a warm glow. The bathroom has a double vanity and the original, restored, claw-foot tub. It's the ultimate retreat just a few steps from the other living spaces.
The Antler Annex consists of two suites that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The first suite has a comfortable seating area, two twin beds, a mini-fridge and microwave. In the loft is a punee, a traditional Hawaiian day bed.
Next door, the second suite of the Antler Annex has its own seating area, a queen bed on the main level and a full bed in the loft area above.
The spacious bath has heated floors, a large walk-in shower and double sinks.
Located 5 minutes northwest of the resort town of Seeley Lake and all of the abundant recreational opportunities our mountain setting provides. Just a few minutes from the West Side Bypass trailhead. You can snowmobile right from the cabins!

The space
We’re excited for you to check out our comfortable house with plenty of room for everyone! The brightly lit living room dining room combo with vaulted ceilings has plenty of seating and a cozy stove to cuddle up by.
The kitchen is equipped with all you’ll need for cooking a large meal and enjoying around the table. We have extra chairs in the garage if needed! There are three bedrooms including the master, and each has very comfortable beds and bedding. The master has a king sized bed and its own bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen, and the third a twin bed and a bunk with a full sized bed and a twin. There are two additional blow up beds that can fit in the bedrooms or in the living room. The living room couch also converts into a bed, so at the minimum the house can sleep 8 in beds, 10 with the couch, and 12 with the blow up beds!

Guest access
Pull into our large parking area with plenty of room to park boat and snowmobile trailers. If you want you can snowmobile or ski from the back of the property to the east side trails as soon as you arrive! You’ll have the whole run of the place!
