Our home is on 7.5 wooded acres on top of a scenic ridge. The Whitetail View is newly remodeled. And, yes, you will see whitetail deer. The space is a well furnished upstairs apartment with a private entrance via an outside staircase. The long private balcony has two doors, chairs and stands for having a drink or sharing a meal while enjoying a view of the mountains and forest. Your place has a wet bar with basic countertop food prep accessories, including utensils, dishes, etc small beverage refrigerator and dining table. The living area has a TV, love seat and recliner. There is one full bedroom with a log queen bed. A convenient cabinet bed with memory foam mattress stays out of the way until needed. It is a very comfortable bed! The full bathroom has a tub and shower, with a door to the bedroom and living area.
At the same property is a larger area about twice the size that sleeps seven. It is called the Seeley Lake Vacation: Bears Den.
Seeley Lake, Montana is a beautiful resort mountain town, surrounded by pristine mountains, a fish-filled string of lakes, river and mountain streams. Reserve either of the two private access spaces in our home as your convenient base. It is 1/2 mile from the groomed snowmobile, ATV and hiking/biking trailhead.
There are regular visits from friendly photogenic whitetail deer. They are cautious of people, but sometimes fight and chase each other. Be careful about spacing, especially with children, to avoid accidental contact. An occasional bear sighting can occur in any area of Seeley Lake, but they keep their distance from people.
Relax at the home and enjoy the occasional wildlife right on the property. After a day of adventure enjoy an evening of solitude, a meal and quiet serenity. There is a picnic table near the grill and a sitting area with benches, firepit and rocking glider next to the hot tub. Sit in the hot tub on a private deck overlooking the Swan Mountains, or just enjoy your private area. The propane grill next to the carport is dedicated specifically for our guests.
If you are an archer, there will be a safe place to practice with your bow on a 4' X 4' X1' target. (No hunting on the property.)
Explore private access to Morrell Creek below the house. This is a rarely used common area dedicated to our small homeowners association. Be aware that it has bull trout in it, that are not legal to keep.
You'll have close access to everything you come to Seeley Lake for! It is your Seeley Lake Vacation Home while you fish, boat, hunt, snowmobile, pick huckleberries (July), hike, water ski, jet ski, cross-country ski, or just enjoy the amazing scenery. Four seasons of mountain and lake adventures!
There are two private vacation spaces in this home. We live in one separated section.

There is plenty of paved parking, including room for ATV/snowmobile trailers. Space off property for large trailer parking can be arranged, if needed. In the winter, snowmobiles may be used around town. The entire side yard and backyard are for guests to use. Hot tub use is for one rental unit at a time. The hot tub lid up on the lift indicates someone is using it.
We are available as you want us to be. If we're not at home, text or call us! If we are at home, feel free to do the same or engage us in conversation. We are people persons, but you're privacy is a priority to us. If you have questions, or just want to talk, feel free!
On the ridge above Tamarack Drive you will not see any houses. You can walk or drive to Morrell Creek below the ridge the house is on.
In winter use your snowmobiles or drive slowly to enjoy the scenery and avoid the deer who think they control the town. (They do.) Use a canoe or kayak to take Clearwater River Canoe Trail, a 1 to 2 hour canoe/kayak trip that flows through a dense willow marsh on an isolated portion of the Clearwater River. We will have kayaks available for any area water activity trip you want.
For the cabinet bed, pull out the bottom drawer which supports the bed. Take out the pillows and blanket. Then pull the bed out over that drawer and lock down the legs. There are instructions on the cabinet. It's a comfortable sleep!

The cabin walks into a cozy living room with a loveseat, recliner, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. From there you enter a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and dining table that seats 4. The bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, closet and private bathroom with a single vanity, shower, washing machine and dryer.

A propane BBQ grill and propane fire pit are provided outside. If you have more than 2 people in your party or young children, there are two twin air mattresses, extra bedding, a high chair and pack and play in the bedroom closet.

The cozy living room has an L shaped couch, 2 recliners, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. From there you enter a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and dining table that seats 6. The bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, closet and the second bedroom contains 3 twin beds with another twin in a common area. There is also a queen and 2 twin air mattresses complete with sheets and blankets in the hutch in the dining room. There are extra pillows, and also a pack-n-play with sheets and a fold up high chair stored in the master bedroom closet.

There is also a porch to relax on and enjoy the views of the lake just steps from your front door. There is NO indoor bathroom, but there is a port-a-potty just a short distance away. If getting away in nature and enjoying the lake and the views is your thing and you're ok going a couple days without a shower, you'll be able to unplug and relax. If you need a shower, there is a laundromat in town with coin operated showers just a mile away or enjoy a swim in the lake. There is a BBQ to cook on or plenty of food options available in town.

This is the first floor of my log cabin. My property backs up to national forest with endless opportunities for recreation.

Hunters can access national forest direct from the property.

I am just a few miles from a chain of lakes and some of the best hiking in the swan valley

For sledders, we have plenty of space to park a trailer or two and turn around.

Bounce house available upon request with two weeks notice and waiver signed.

Please know we are looking to create a safe, family friendly environment, starting in March the top floor will also be a rental, we have installed noise and smoke monitors to help ensure a positive experience for all. The device does not record as we value your privacy. The hosts no longer live upstairs.

We also have a pack and play and high chair for those who are traveling with the littlest ones. Just let us know and we can bring our or infant/toddler toys.

Feel free to bring your well behaved and friendly pet, however, there is no fence and lots of wildlife so we ask that you keep them on a leash.

We have priced the cleaning fee to be reasonable. If you leave excessive trash or leave a mess that requires extra cleaning we will have an additional fee.

Nestled back in the woods and surrounded by elk, deer, beavers, etc. there is no traffic noise, no ambient light. Your space is separate and secure with cozy wood walls, floors and ceilings with large wide windows for viewing. We are 15 minutes from Seeley Lake for incredible cross country ski trails, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in the winter or summer water activities. From your back door here there is ice fishing , snowshoeing, swimming, kayaking. All depends on the season!

The home is heated & air conditioned by a mini split system which is operated by remote control. The remote is located on the left side of the TV, attached to the wall.

There is ample parking for full size pickups & boats or snowmobile trailers.

The space
The cabin walks into a cozy living room with a loveseat, recliner, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. From there you enter a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and dining table that seats 6. The bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, closet and private bathroom with a single vanity, shower, washing machine and dryer. A propane BBQ grill and propane fire pit are provided outside. If you have more than 2 people in your party or young children, there are two twin air mattresses, a high chair and pack and play in the bedroom closet.

We are as available as you need us to be. We will message you a welcome letter as well as your door access code prior to your arrival. Your rental agreement will detail all check-in and check-out procedures, and the welcome book in the cabin will provide all necessary ins and outs of the inclusions and local recommendations. This four room suite is the entire first floor of our custom log home. Minutes from the town of Seeley Lake, an hour from Missoula and 2 hours from Glacier NP, you'll have access to hiking trails, water activities, fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, golfing and more. The design and decor of the suite include renderings and whimsical touches by the owner/artist in residence who has created a magical space with hand carved furniture, sculptures, paintings and stonework.

The space
This spacious suite is located on the first floor of our custom mountain log home. Your private suite offers breathtaking views of Seeley Lake and the Swan Valley from your own secluded deck. The three room, plus full bath suite has it's own private entrance, satellite TV, Netfix, Amazon Video, WiFi, personal deck, bathroom, oversized bedroom with a large log king size bed and spacious sitting room area. There's plenty of room to spread out in the additional great room for relaxing or unwinding during your stay. A queen size sofa bed, dining/game table, tableware, a coffee station including Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster and mini-fridge are all available to make your stay even more comfortable. A second bedroom has a traditional queen bed and a queen air bed, Pop a Shot game and a dart board. There are novelty chain saw carved benches surrounding a fire ring area for your personal use. Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the douglas fir, larch and lodgepole pine and the lake below. Keep an eye out for the deer that stroll through the meadow outside your door. This peaceful retreat is secluded, serene and offers million dollar views in a spectacular setting.

The space
Seeley Lake Vacation Home is on 7.5 wooded acres on top of a scenic ridge. The Bears Den is a well furnished Montana modern-rustic decor basement floor with eye-level windows on two sides. The decor creates a "be-at-home" Montana atmosphere. We live on the property. We are at your service, but respect your privacy.

Living room windows provide view of regular deer visits in the yard. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with full-size appliances and dining table. The large living room with a TV, leather couch, chair and ottoman, full bear mount and a work desk creates a peaceful feel for your vacation. One bathroom with a shower.

The two bedrooms continue the "Montana home" atmosphere, including a total of two log queen beds, a twin log bunk and another twin log bed. One room sleeps four and the other sleeps three people. The eastern bedroom has a window overlooking the Swan Mountain range. You have free access to a washer and dryer on site with a little notice.

You'll have your own private propane grill. Two guest-shared shared picnic tables, benches, swing, glider, and a corn hole game. The yard can all be used by guests in the scenic yard. There is a hot tub with a spectacular mountain range view! (It can be used privately on a fist-come, first-served basis by guests.) The yard is shared, but mostly just with friendly photogenic whitetail deer. They occasionally cause voluntary plan delays when one or more guests want to visit with them! Especially youngsters. (I must admit, we do encourage that "problem.")

They are cautious of people, but sometimes fight, play and chase each other. Be careful about spacing, especially with children to avoid accidental contact. An occasional bear sighting can occur in any area of Seeley Lake, but they keep their distance from people. You are welcome to take a short walk down to a private access to Morrell Creek adjacent to the property.

Seeley Lake, Montana is a beautiful, friendly resort mountain town, surrounded by pristine mountains, a fish-filled string of lakes, river and mountain streams. Relax at the home after a day of adventure, enjoy an evening of solitude and quiet serenity overlooking the Swan Mountains.

Reserve either or both of the two private access spaces in our home as your convenient base. It is 1/2 mile from the groomed snowmobile, ATV and hiking/biking trailheads. The place is 3 miles from Double Arrow Golf Course and 3/4 mi from a forested 18 hole disc golf course.

You'll have close access to everything you come to Seeley Lake for! It is your Seeley Lake Vacation Home while you fish, boat, hunt, snowmobile, pick huckleberries (July), hike, water ski, jet ski, cross-country ski, or just enjoy the amazing scenery. Four seasons of mountain and lake adventures!

Guest access
There is plenty of paved and snow plowed parking, including room for ATV/snowmobile trailers. Space off property for large trailer parking can be arranged, if needed. In the winter, snowmobiles may be used around Seeley Lake. The entire basement floor is yours. The entire side yard and backyard are for guests to use. Hot tub use is for one rental unit at a time. The hot tub lid being up on the lift vertically provides privacy and indicates to other guests that someone is using it.

Other things to note
We have a washer and dryer with easy access that we can make available to guests upon request, when it can be scheduled with a little advanced notice.

There are two private vacation units in this home with their own dedicated exterior entrances. You'll have plenty of privacy in your section. We live in one separate section. Rent one or both spaces, as available. Change search criteria to 1 and 2 bedrooms to see both.

Light, bright, and open, this cabin on the banks of Seeley Creek has it all. The large kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for those who love to cook. The living room is open to both the dining area and kitchen. The beautiful sunroom just beyond the living room provides the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.

The main floor includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, sunroom, and master bedroom. The queen room is separate from the other bedrooms and includes its own private bathroom.
Through the mud room and down a few steps is a twin bedroom - complete with its own TV. A guest bath with laundry facilities, and a queen guest bedroom are down the hall.

Don't forget your furry friends! The house comes stocked with treats, toys and all the amenities that will make your four-legged family members feel at home. The large, fenced, yard provides space for them to run while everyone gathers to play games.

Fire up the propane grill, enjoy the weather and watch wildlife from the comfortable furniture on the covered deck.

An RV spot with water and power is located on the property for an additional $35/night. Please indicate this choice when booking so it can be added to your reservation.

Relax in our cozy house set in a scenic wooded area with a private fenced yard just 2 miles from beautiful Seeley Lake and 1 hour north of Missoula. Take in the spectacular view while enjoying quick access to lakes, hiking trails, and restaurants.

Seeley Lake is also a wonderful place to enjoy winter activities such as snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and more.

The space
The house walks into a large entryway that opens up to a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The living room is spacious with an L-shaped couch, 2 recliners, an electric fireplace for atmosphere, and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. There is a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, dining table that seats 6, and 2 bar-top stools. From the dining room, there is access to the screened-in back porch which features a Traeger grill and 2 porch chairs. The master bedroom features a king size bed, dresser, and closet. The other bedroom has 3 twin beds and a closet. Both bedrooms have a door into a bathroom with full bath. Outside the bedroom area is another twin-sized bed. The bathroom off the entryway has a shower stall, washer, and dryer. There is 1 queen-sized and 2 twin-sized air mattresses located in the hutch in the dining room, with bedding for each. There are extra pillows, a high chair, and a pack-and-play with sheets available in the master bedroom closet.

Guest access
There is a large driveway in front of the house for parking. The neighborhood is quiet and private, only 2.5 miles from downtown Seeley Lake. There are beautiful lakes just a few minutes' drive up the road. There is a local hiking book available for you to plan some nearby hikes.

We are as available as you need us to be. We will message you a welcome letter as well as your door access code prior to your arrival. Your rental agreement will detail all check-in and check-out procedures, and the welcome book in the cabin will provide all necessary ins and outs of the inclusions and local recommendations. Guest access is to the trailer home itself and then they are allowed access to the farthest side of the shared dock below the property. This dock is shared with the owner's property below so we ask to completely respect the dock. No launching of watercraft is allowed, all has to be done at Big Larch Boat launch.

Other things to note
Any trailers will need to stay parked in grass by the main driveway entrance. Loose gravel below and tight spaces are different for maneuvering of trailers or big rigs. Parking next to home, please stay in designated areas, extra vehicles can be parked in grass by the main driveway entrance. We do have septic drain lines that cannot be ran over.

Surrounded by nature but just a few miles from town, beautiful, comfortable, clean cabin with mountain views, natural pond, creek, unique features, and outdoor amenities for all seasons. The cabin and owners have a history of military service from the construction and finishing of the cabin by a "Frogman," (Navy Seal) to the families' past and current military service including an active Navy Seal son. The cabin's name pays tribute to their military contributions and is called the "Seal Inn."

The space
This cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. These bedrooms have a large closet in each for storage, and a large window with views of the abundant pines. On the main floor is a kitchen loaded with plentiful cookware and flatware and utensils. There is an island with bar seating and a dining table. Between the kitchen and living room is a unique, stone fireplace system with an oven on the kitchen side and a fireplace on the living room side. The cozy fireplace is surrounded by leather couches and seating for several. The smart T.V. offers streaming service. There are several board games and cards available. The main floor also has a full bath and laundry room. Upstairs is a loft area with two queen beds, a twin bed and additional bathroom with shower.

Guest access
Guests have access to the main and upper floor of the house, large decks on front and back of house and the entire 6 acre property. The property is private, and has beautiful forested areas and a mountain creek (called "Mountain Creek") running through the properties back side. As well there are two additional acres available to guests including more creek access, a natural pond, flat grassy area for badminton, corn hole, etc., and a BYOB bar area with seating, and an additional fire pit. The basement is currently used as owner's storage and is not available for guest access.

The heart of the cabin is the open kitchen-dining-living room with vaulted ceilings and ample windows. It's the perfect space to gather and take in the sweeping views of Placid Lake. A large deck, which runs the length of the cabin, provides space for outdoor eating, as well as a BBQ.
The new addition has two, private queen bedrooms. A semi-private bunk room can be found on the far end of the house and is separated from the main room by a half bath and large pantry. A full bath and laundry area are just off the main room. The kitchen has all of the conveniences of home.
Just a few miles from snowmobile trails and an extensive Nordic Ski trail system in Seeley Lake.
Use the dock to access your boat, swim, or take advantage of the owner's kayaks. There's no shortage of fun for the entire family!

The space
A newly built home containing all new furnishings, linens and a well appointed kitchen for all your homemade meals.

The home has a large loft overlooking the kitchen and main living area. The master bedroom and bath are located upstairs along with a spacious sitting area to relax or play cards. At bed time, the couch pulls out into a very comfortable bed. The Master bed can be made into a King or 2 Twin XL beds.

A large balcony, to enjoy the mountain air, is located off the loft.

Downstairs, a fully appointed kitchen with an island looks into the living area. With high ceilings and large windows, the outdoors can be enjoyed while relaxing in front of the gas fireplace or the smart TV.

The second bedroom and full bath are located downstairs. Two XL twin beds can be converted into a king bed by request. An extra large closet is located in the room also.

A full laundry room and half bath are located downstairs. The long carport has a storage room to the side with room to store all your toys, such as skies, bikes and water toys. A grill is available.

The home sits on a wooded half of acre lot. A private Nordic/Mountain Bike trail, designed by Olympic Biathlete, John Morton, of Morton Trails begins at the property.

The trail connects directly to over 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails! Rental sleds are available and delivered right to the door....for those bringing their own sleds, there's no need to trailer to the trailhead! A few minutes drive away, you'll find over 100 miles of additional groomed nordic trails at the Seeley Lake Nordic Complex. Additional winter activities include snowshoeing, ice skating & ice fishing.

For warm weather adventures, Seeley Lake is connected to hundreds of miles ATV, hiking & mountain bike trails. The Lolo National Forest & the Bob Marshall Wilderness are all in "your backyard".

Five large lakes and several smaller lakes and beautiful Morrell Falls are all located within a short drive. The famous Blackfoot River is a mere 20 minute drive where you'll enjoy blue-ribbon fishing and floating. You can book a guide or float for fun.

Enjoy the warm days boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. Miles of beautiful shoreline surround the crystal lakes.
