- "If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The house was immaculately clean (it felt new). It was so relaxing with the mountain view-exactly as pictured, and the hot-tub which only added luxury to the whole experience. We saw a mom and her newly birthed fawn hanging out in the front yard. That was awesome. Everything about this place was great. Daniel, the owner, was so gracious in promptly addressing the blind that the previous renter had messed up. He even went and got us laundry soap for the washer. One suggestion- most everything is on a remote control (I call it a smart house ) make sure you either ask Daniel how to control things-which we did. I think he's putting together instructions, so it may be a mute point. We enjoyed several sunsets from the front porch. I just cant say enough good about this place! Again, if you are wavering and like the combination of modern, clean, relaxing, and beautiful scenery -this is your place. I would definitely stay here again. Best experience ever! The cabin sits on a spring-fed pond loaded with trout for your viewing pleasure and next to a mountain river that runs with glacier water all year long. We are an hour west of Glacier National Park and minutes from Ten Lakes Scenic Area and Therriault Pass, where wildlife and wildflowers are bountiful. The closest town for groceries and amenities is 15 miles away. Feel like shopping and eating out? Whitefish has you covered; it' 45 miles South. This, our Friends, is a GOOD LIFE!

- "Owner was delightful to deal with." - "As soon as we opened the door, we knew we hit the jackpot when finding this place! We loved it as soon as we saw it. The whole place is clean and organized, everything we could think of was already provided to us: clean towels, soap, shampoo, dishes and cutlery, etc. We were only staying here cause we needed a place to stay during the nights, but I really wish we had the time to explore the property a bit more. I feel like I missed out a lot! We got lost the first couple of nights trying to find the place in pitch black, so if you can try checking in during the day and make note of landmarks and when to turn in. THAT SAID, I think part of the appeal is that it is so secluded from everything. Mark and Pattie were extremely friendly and welcoming and we were glad to meet them before we left for our daily adventures. We've been looking to purchase some land for the last few years and this is exactly the type of cabin I've pictured building on it, so finding this gem was an added bonus. If I were to make one small comment about it, I would say getting the hot water in the shower took a bit of figuring out, so be sure to ask Mark or Pattie if there's a trick to it if you can't get it going. Not sure if it was just us. But ultimately it was a very minor thing and had no impact on an otherwise pleasant stay. I'm definitely planning on coming back here when I come back to Eureka again. If you are going East out of Eureka from the north end of Eureka where hwy 37 junctions with hwy 93 go north towards Canada for 2.2 miles then turn right on to Burma Road. The turn off to Burma Road is right at the north end of Indian Springs Golf course. Go up Burma Road for 1.9 miles where there is a fork in the road. Stay to the left and continue up Burma Road for 2.2 miles. Turn right onto forest service road that is called Blacktail Trail. Go up a couple of switchbacks and at approximately 4/10’s of a mile you will turn right on to Gould Road. Go up Gould Road for 3/10’s of a mile to the 2nd road that turns right off of Gould Road. This is Caribou Trail, go 2/10’s of a mile to the campground. There will be a brown house on the right side built on the edge of the road continue past this to go through the gate and this is the campground.

- "We enjoyed our stay in Montana at Ray's cabin. I was a little nervous to reserve this property without a lot of reviews to go on. The cabin was very clean and everything worked well, including the air conditioner in the living room that was needed during our warm stay (temps in the 90s). Ray was extremely responsive and got back to me quickly whenever I had a question, before or during the trip. It does take a good 15 minutes on a mostly gravel road to get to and from the main road, which I'm not sure I would do again. However, if you don't mind the drive, the cabin rewards you with stunning views and a very remote feel. The neighbor was installing a well (or maybe improving it) which led to some additional traffic and noise for us, but otherwise, it would have been almost completely quiet, something you don't get here in California. I also want to note that the bed in the master bedroom is extremely firm, and I know some folks would like that, but some would not. All in all, if you are looking for a remote stay in Montana in a nice cabin, this is it!"

Leaving Eureka from the north end of Eureka where hwy 37 junctions with hwy 93 go north towards Canada for 2.2 miles then turn right on to Burma Road. The turn off to Burma Road is right at the north end of Indian Springs Golf course. Go up Burma Road for 1.9 miles where there is a fork in the road. Stay to the left and continue up Burma Road for 2.2 miles. Turn right onto forest service road that is called Blacktail Trail. Go up a couple of switchbacks and at approximately 4/10’s of a mile you will turn right on to Gould Road. Go up Gould Road for 3/10’s of a mile to the 2nd road that turns right off of Gould Road. This cabin is an old J. Neils Lumber Company logger bunk house, which would have been used to house loggers when working in our surrounding forests. We have loving restored it, adding modern comforts, including a luxury king bed and linens - but keeping the cool vintage vibe. This is a private cabin which sleeps 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge, or if your party is larger, we have a vintage tiny trailer, or a tent that we can park next to it for an additional fee. We're so Northwest that we're almost Canada. Eureka Montana is called "The Last Best Place" because of our unspoiled nature, abundant wildlife, solitude and brilliant night skies. You'll love watching wildlife, star gazing, and occasionally seeing the northern lights from the large deck overlooking the Tobacco River.

Our ranch comprises 450 Acres of trails, pasture, forest and river. Make yourself at home! This cabin is private, secluded and off grid. Guests have access to our community kitchen and showers/toilets. Linens and towels provided. We provide a few tubes for river use and bikes for rails to trails as well. Games, cards, books, etc also available in common areas.

Glamping = camping with the work done for you. You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.)
**There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes.
*Bathroom and kitchen are in the Base Camp, nearby and a brand new beautiful building shared by two units.
**You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking.

Liability Waiver:
You understand that staying on our property is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with walking, hiking and staying in our units. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may arise from walking, hiking, use of the river, and staying in our units. You understand there are potential dangers on being on this property for guests that have health issues, mobility issues or are intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur to either yourself or other guests on the property. If you are traveling with a pet, damage caused to the property or physical damage to other guests by said pet is your responsibility. Pets must NOT chase wildlife. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against Tobacco River Ranch for accidents or claims arising from hiking, swimming, biking or staying on this property. Perfect for single travelers, the Oasis is a cute, stand-alone cabin on site. It has it's own mini fridge with freezer, a space heater, wifi, water and electric. Shared bath, living room and kitchen/dining area in the main Heritage cabin. We'll provide a selection of hot cereal, fruit, baked goods (bagel, english muffin), cream cheese, yogurt and coffee or tea for breakfast.
Bring your furry friend and enjoy play time off the front porch of the Heritage Cabin.

The space
The Oasis room is approx. 120 sq ft with shared access to all of the main floor and grounds of the Heritage cabin. A smaller, unique log cabin with private rooms on the second floor, this cabin was built by our family in the early nineties. Shared living, dining, kitchen and bath, front and back covered porches for outdoor relaxation even with inclement weather. A rustic log swing just outside the Oasis in the yard is perfect for that morning cup of coffee or evening wind-down. Lots of lawn and a separate fenced area for pets to play securely. Although it shows our location within walking distance to Barnaby Lake, access to lake is via private land and is currently dry. The closest lake for swimming, kayaking or fishing would be Murphy Lake, just about fifteen minutes away.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the outdoor spaces, kitchen, dining area, living room and bath. Mini fridge with built in freezer available in the room. We have a toaster, blender and waffle maker appliances as well as a hot water kettle. French press coffee carafe along with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses and cooking utensils. The garage, tool shed and basement are private areas accessible only by the host.

During your stay
I usually try to be available upon arrival to answer any questions and give the quick tour. If I will be away from the cabin when guests arrive, I'll communicate through the Air B&B inbox. Wifi password is located in the guest room and is the only way to get cell service at this location. I Do Not Have A Cell Phone, ONLY the landline at the cabin so will do my best to communicate through the Air B&B platform.
I will typically putter around the property, cook my own meals and use the restroom throughout the day. I'll take my cue from guests as far as level of interaction. Happy to give recommendations for activities, food and entertainment opportunities.

Because our plumbing is on a septic system, only toilet paper should be flushed. Any other waste, sanitary products, cigarette buts, etc. should go in the waste bin. There is no smoking indoors. There is a butt container located on both front and back porches for outdoor disposal and snuffing. Food garbage should go in the countertop compost pot rather than the waste bin. Our chickens really enjoy fruit peels, stale breads and so on. Please do not park on the lawn around the house. If unsure of where to park, please ask for guidance from host. This is a cute, cozy, custom, airy, comfortable cabin located at Glen Lake in Eureka Montana. The house is located within 2 minutes from the boat launch and day use picnic area at Glen Lake. Use of boats, canoes and jet skis are allowed. Picnic and swim at the public access beach area. Take afternoon walks or just enjoy some peace and quiet in a shaded comfy home away from home. Watch a movie and unwind. There are 2 smart TV’s with Prime and Netflix and a few other Apps. Play any of the provided board games or some cards! Roast a marshmallow or two! We provide the wood and the atmosphere. Unplug and relax on the deck and watch the hummingbirds. Or if you want to stay connected high speed WIFI is available throughout the house. The choices are up to you, it’s your vacation!

A privacy fence separates the Sunshine Getaway from the owner's home up the hill. Access is easy and off of highway 93 and down the well-graveled driveway. There is room for 1 vehicle under the carport and extra parking across the driveway. Take a short hike down the hill and sit along Sinclair Creek and watch it flow on by. Breathe in the good smells and relax. Let your dog play on the lawn. Take time to get some Vitamin D using the new lounge chairs provided. Walk over to the garden and see what is growing. We're so Northwest that we're almost Canada. And we are called the Last Best Place because of our unspoiled nature, abundant wildlife, solitude and brilliant night skies.

We have four cabins, a bell tent and a vintage Airstream to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River ~ all units are spread out and positioned for optimal privacy and big views. We also have a few bikes & tubes for guest use.

On site you'll find a beautiful community kitchen with all the equipment you need, and showers and bathrooms. (There is no toilet/kitchen in any of our units.) We have a few bikes & tubes for guest use.

We allow well behaved dogs in all of our other units, but not this one, sorry!

Guest access
Our ranch comprises 450 Acres of trails, pasture, forest and river. Make yourself at home! This cabin is private, secluded and off grid. Guests have access to our community kitchen and showers/toilets. Linens and towels provided. We provide a few tubes for river use and bikes for rails to trails as well. Games, cards, books, etc also available in common areas.

You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.

Please note our liability waiver: You understand that staying on our property is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, walking, hiking and staying in our units. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may arise from any activity while staying in our units. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur to either yourself or other guests on the property. If you are traveling with a pet, damage caused to the property or physical damage to other guests by said pet is your responsibility. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. The space
'Small house' cabin situated in the woods looking over the Tobacco river valley. Enjoy expansive vistas from the covered porch. A newly remodeled studio style space with a double bed, seating area, kitchenette with hot/cold water sink, propane camp stove, counter space and dishes for simple cooking. The cabin also has a shower, bathroom sink and RV style toilet.

Guest access
You can drive right up to the cabin via a private road through the woods.

Other things to note
Water for the cabin and neighboring home is provided by a ram pump, a type of system developed in the 1800's. Sitting out on the cabin deck you'll hear the 'heart beat' of the system.

Our brand new Bunchgrass tent sits up on a knoll surrounded by trees and rock formations overlooking the Tobacco River. A shady patio, a hammock, and comfortable queen bed and two twins make for ideal glamping quarters! We also provide tubes for the river and bikes for rails to trails for guest use, free of charge.

The views and privacy afforded by this unit require a short uphill walk.

The space
Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come to Tobacco River Ranch for the recreation, but stay to relax!
We have four cabins a bell tent and a vintage Airstream to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River ~ all units are spread out and positioned for optimal privacy and big views.

Guests have access to a nearby porta-potty, community kitchen and showers - and free use of our bikes, tubes, trails, corn hole, etc! No reason to leave the property, but so much to explore in the area!

The views and privacy afforded by this unit require a short uphill walk. (not ideal for people needing to bring a lot of "stuff" up to the tent, although when requested, we can help bring you up with the golf cart!)

We ask you to remove shoes in this unit, ...the location makes this one harder to keep clean...and we're Virgos, so we have high standards and the struggle is real! =)

You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. This unit has it's own new and pristine compost toilet.

Other things to note
This unit is up on a hill with uneven terrain. You'll trade a very short uphill walk for beautiful vistas and complete privacy. We provide a wagon to help haul your stuff up, and/or if you need an extra hand and you arrive early enough, we are glad to help you out!

In consideration for being permitted by Tobacco River Ranch Glamping (TRR) to participate in glamping, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of participation in glamping. This release is intended to discharge in advance TRR (its officers, employees and agents) from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in Glamping, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.

____It is understood that any activity in camping/glamping involves an element of risk and danger of accidents and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and to hold TRR or entities free and harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense which they may incur as the result of my death or any injury or property damage that I may sustain while participating in tent camping.

_____I understand that I am liable for any damages to any property that I create. I understand that there are no campfires or smoking allowed on the property. I understand that swimming, hiking, biking and ALL activities are done so at my own risk. I understand that this is a wildlife area, and I’m responsible for safe storage of food. I further understand that this is rugged terrain, and all presence on the property is at my own risk.

____I have read this Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement. I understand the failure to comply with the Glamping rules will result in my immediate expulsion from the property.

This is to certify that I/we, on behalf of my group or family, do consent, to release and indemnify the Releasees from any and all Liability incident, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I accept responsibility for expenses related to any damages caused by my family or group.

Quiet cabin located in NW Montana, minutes from town, located on Tetrault Lake. Hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling are a few of the area's activities. Cabin has free wi-fi and numerous charging stations for your electronics. There are books and games, dishes for 4 guest and coffee is provided. (Refrigerator, crockpot, stove and oven as well as pots, pans and baking dishes) Cabin has ample parking and private driveway. (1 queen bed & a pull out sofa)

Cozy Montana cabin, sleeps up to 4 guests with all the comforts of home. We have provided all the towels and linens and extra soft blankets. Coffee and tea are provided. This unique flat is set up like a huge hotel room. Spacious room size, king size bed, comfy seating area and large bathroom. Small fridge, coffee pot, hot water pot, air conditioner, microwave provided along with dishes and a table. This second floor flat has its own patio table with 6 chairs.
This location is attached to a commercial shop, the lower level is currently vacant. The main shop space is currently is being used for storage at this time and is pretty quiet.

The space
This unit is attached to our commercial shop building in the back. We've had some guests say they have a little cell service and others have no cell service. Full WIFI is provided for you use with cell phones, TV, laptops, etc. The WIFI information is located on your AIRBNB arrival page the day of check-in, so make sure that you look at that before getting to the property so that you have the door code and wifi password.
