Enjoy the best of both worlds - the seclusion of Polar Peak Lodges nestled among the tall pines while the convenience of ski-in accommodation. This mountainside town home is beautifully appointed, and has a well equipped granite kitchen ideal for large families.
The town home works extremely well for two families. Parents can enjoy privacy upstairs (3 bedrooms - master has queen bed with ensuite and walk-in; 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have king and double beds respectively, all decorated with True North pine furniture). The entertainment unit on the main floor features a flat screen TV, DVD and stereo. The lower level is great for the kids, with 2 sets of single bunks, a full private bathroom, and separate entertainment area with fireplace.

Our condo is located just 5 minutes from the ski hill, downtown and is right at the base of Mt Fernie Provincial Park and Elk Valley Nordic center. There is hiking, biking, fishing and cross-country ski tracks right out your front door. With a patio and BBQ on the back deck you can enjoy your morning coffee with the stunning view of the Elk river.
Outdoor lockers for your ski or fishing gear and indoor space to keep your mountain bikes safely stored inside. Entry way is also set up for all your gear to dry out from a day in the powder or riding trails. Our place is ready to house your next adventure.

Want a luxury experience while skiing? This mountainside town home is beautifully appointed. The decor is a combination of south west (bright colours) and tribal, with personal touches from all over the world.
On the main floor, there is built-in seating in the living and dining areas crafted by River City and upholstered in Tibetan tribal rugs. These seating areas are on either side of a slate stone gas fireplace.
Enjoy cooking? The gourmet kitchen with its blue cabinetry and Mexican tile floor is well equipped and features a Garland stove and new Bosch fridge.
The unit features two kings and two queens.
On the upper level there is a a spacious master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in closet. Relax in its captain king bed with drawers beneath. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and feature queen beds, one also a captain bed. Another sleeping area is on the lower level and features a king bed with separate bathroom.
Enjoy entertainment? In the lower level is a 55” screen TV. But don't forget en route downstairs to identify all the stone animals in the wonderful print by Peterborough artist Blake Richardson.

Amazing location, quiet but close to everything, sandwiched between historic Downtown and Rotary Park. Walking distance to The famous Elk River, Hiking and Biking Trails, Restaurants and Bars. We are approximately an 8 minute drive to the base of the Ski Hill, and have lots of parking space.
We built this suite to allow others to stay and experience how wonderful Fernie is. We are pet friendly, we also have a Dog named Otis who loves visitors. Our space sleeps up to four people, and you will have access to our mostly fenced in back yard to let your pet roam, clean/store your bikes or head out the back gate to go to the Sunday Mountain Market.
Our place comes with everything you need to cook and relax if you wish to stay in, as well as secure storage space for your precious adventure gear. We are active Fernie adventurers and will happily share all our best recommendations for you to get the most out of your stay in our awesome mountain town.
We also have an office space with great WiFi if your traveling for work.

This renovated property is just a short walk or ski to the Elk Chair at the Resort. The townhouse is a modern 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath property offering the perfect space for the entire family to escape to the mountains.
The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room is great for gathering friends and family. With the luxury primary bedroom/ ensuite, a separate space for kids to play and a home office, this property provides the perfect balance of peace, privacy, and quality time with the group.
One of the first things you're greeted with when entering the property is the spacious and bright kitchen, living and dining space. The kitchen comes with brand new appliances, cabinets and countertops and has been stocked with all cooking basics (pots, pans, utensils, salt, pepper, plates, cutlery etc.) There is a handcrafted live edge dining table to seat 8 guests and a kitchen island with 4 bar stools offering more seating if needed.
Enjoy an evening on the comfortable corner sofa while watching your favourite movies on the 75" smart tv, equipped with Netflix and cable while the fireplace warms you up after a day on the slopes. The television features a quality Bluetooth sound system to give you that cinema experience! This floor also has its own powder room for your convenience.
On the second floor you'll find a home office so you can work remotely! The office has a sit-stand desk, supportive work chair, and 2 monitors. The locked door and mountain views make it a quiet and relaxing space away from others to work or take a private call.
The second floor also has two bedrooms. One bedroom, is home to 2 twin bunk beds sleeping 4 guests. You can sleep another 2 guests in the queen room that has a closet and chest of drawers. All beds are made up with hotel-quality bedding and linens. The shared bathroom includes a double vanity, bathtub/shower combination and laundry facilities.
If you are traveling with kids and looking for somewhere to let them have fun, the kids nook on the second floor is great. They can chill out on the bean bags watching TV or playing the array of board games we have provided.
The primary bedroom is on its very own floor with an ensuite bathroom, fireplace and a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom features a bathtub and a shower and has plenty of space for belongings. The beautiful mountain views can be enjoyed from the comfort of the jacuzzi bath tub so bubble away in paradise! This bedroom boasts a brand new king bed, hotel-quality bedding and linens, tall ceilings with a ceiling fan, large chest of drawers for clothing storage and walk-in closet with new sliding barn door. The spacious closet includes a small single children's bed for young kids to have their very own cozy space, whilst staying close by.
Please be warned that there are three sets of stairs in this property and four levels starting with the ground floor.
The property is classed as ski-out. The ski path is just a moments walk up some stairs and across a boardwalk and should not take more than a minute. This allows you to ski straight down form Lizard bowl and to the complex. More specific directions are provided before check-in.

Located 15 minutes walk to downtown Fernie, 7 minutes walk to Supermarket and Liquor store, and 10 minutes drive to Fernie Alpine Resort. Centrally located to all mountain bike trails.
The kitchen is very spacious, with a large peninsula counter which is great for entertaining, the pantry and fridge are stocked with a lot of the staples, simply replace what you use.

The upstairs is an open concept space, and the lounge has comfortable seating, smart tv with Netflix, Sonos and Wifi throughout the house.
The spacious Master bedroom, has its own 3 piece en-suite, with a double rainfall head shower, for those who like company in the shower.
There is ski/snow board storage along with boot and glove dryers located in the front entry. There are also 4 pairs of snowshoes for your use.
Mountain bike storage is in a locked garage.
During the summer months there is a 700 square-foot deck above the garage for you to entertain, relax and enjoy the views privately.
My Wife and two young daughters live in the basement suite. We have a completely separate entrance and separate parking and there is no interior connection between the two spaces. All the floors have been soundproofed so you never hear us either. All exterior amenities such as hot tub and deck are for the guests alone, these are not shared with us.
Preference is given to longer stays. Accordingly, there is a 2 Night minimum for all bookings more than two weeks in advance.

Wake up to fresh mountain air and breathtaking mountain views at Fernie Alpine Resort. Unit 104 at Griz Inn (mountain facing) is a true ski-in/ski-out or mountain biker's paradise in summer. This two-bedroom ground-floor suite hosts up to 6 adults (or 7 if two of the group are children using the oversized pull-out sofa bed). The brand renovation and amenities including tennis, pool, and large outdoor hot tub make it a great all-year getaway (excellent, dedicated wifi make it possible!).
The kitchen is beautifully renovated with quartz countertops and is open to the dining area. There are both Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers with complimentary pods. The quaint bathroom is also freshly renovated with lovely detail. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a new AC unit, small desk, and an extra deep closet with a platform for luggage. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and twin bunks with 48” Smart LED TV. Both bedrooms have beautiful views of the mountain. The living room has a jumbo-sized comfy sectional that pulls out to a queen-size bed (not the old creaky metal kind) and 70” Smart LED TV (for Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc.), and a second AC unit. The main room opens onto the deck with an outdoor love seat on one side and deck chair on the other. There is dedicated high-speed WIFI (very reliable) and banquette seating at a table for 8 to host eating or games. In the winter there is a heated blower to warm up your gloves and boots at lunch or coffee break. You will have your own ski locker with a combination lock in the lower level to securely stow your skis and snowboards. You can ski immediately from the ski lock up (no walking). There is a tennis court beside the building for summer and racquets in the front closet. The lower level has a bike storage room with a lock. There is a lift operating most of the summer for mountain biking but there are also cross country and hiking trails. The pool and large outdoor hot tub are steps down from the condo on the lower level. Our condo is non-smoking/vaping (the rule is both inside and on deck, it's a strict building policy with $200 fee if broken). Sorry no pets allowed in the condo.

In this beautifully newly furnished and recently renovated condo, you will find a large kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms each with heated floors. The large master boasts a 4 piece ensuite (large soaker tub with separate rain shower), a king bed with a large closet, a smart TV, a set of drawers, and a view of the courtyard. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, drawers, and closet. In the third bedroom, you will find a bunk bed that is accessible on the bottom from both sides, the bunk bed has a queen on the bottom and a double xl on the top. There is also a closet in the third bedroom. Down the hall, you will find a laundry room with a stacking washer and dryer and a boot/mitt dryer. In the open-concept living room, there is a large sectional, a love seat, and two swivel-high back chairs. There is a large table to seat all 8 guests. In the kitchen, you will find a wine fridge, two drink drawers, a dishwasher, a wall microwave, an electric wall oven, a proofing drawer, a gas range with a pot filler, and a French-door refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. The 901 building is located right on historic Second Avenue at the northern residential end. Located a 5-minute walk from Save On Foods, or a short 10-minute walk to the furthest store on 2nd Ave this location has an amazing walkability score. The ski hill is a short 8-minute drive or take the Fernie Stoke shuttle that picks you up right outside the building at 9th St Between 2nd & 3rd Ave. (Please note advanced tickets purchased are needed to ride the shuttle.)
Parking is located in the heated underground parking garage. You have one dedicated space located conveniently right by the door to the building and the other spaces available are guest parking, this is unassigned. Street parking is available but you need to follow City of Fernie winter parking regulations.

Each comfy sleeping quarters has unique features which will make it hard to choose which one to claim as yours. Do you want a fireplace, a tv, a private deck, mountain or forest views? Both bedrooms can either be set up as a King bed or as two twin beds.
Three indoor fireplace zones make it easy to chill out with over a 100 books and a selection of games/puzzles to choose from. However outdoors is just as tempting with 3 fire bowls, a 7 person hot tub, a bonfire pit (firewood is provided) and of course spectacular Rocky Mountain Views.
This tranquil property is the perfect getaway location in all seasons and weather. With over 1200 sq ft of covered decks you will find indoor-outdoor living is unparalleled. The deck is complete with lights so you can enjoy a fun game of ping pong anytime and bust out the big BBQ for some cheffing out whenever you feel inspired. Enjoy the open sky sunny side patio or retreat to a covered deck for some shade when you want it. Beyond the decks is an expansive lawn in every direction for games and a backyard bonfire pit for smokies, marshmallows stories & song.
Winter guests can enjoy complimentary snowshoes (6 pr of various sizes) to explore around and from the property. Summer guests have free access to 4 adult cruiser pedal bikes to adventure to & from town-out and about Fernie. A leisurely pedal to and around town-along the river and with a stop to a patio is honestly one of my favorite things to do!
There is plenty of room for parking and for your toys-bikes-skis-boards snowmobiles -boats etc. There is an indoor cold porch for extra gear storage and a warm mudroom for sports gear to hang dry.

You may find yourself never wanting to leave! Full moons are spectacular! The Elk River is a 5 min walk from the house where you can hop on a trail and enjoy a breathtaking riverside stroll or snowshoe. Summer adventures can include rafting/paddle boarding to or from the end of my street! Your options for play are plenty.
Currently the detached garage interior is under renovation and will soon have a games room, hang out space and movement studio for yoga, dance, meditation-whatever you desire! Gather up your friends, family or clients and come have some fun!

The space
A modern, clean, bright space thoughtfully equipped with everything you need in a home away from home. 1200 sq feet including a Queen bedroom with a full ensuite- enjoy the expansive shower underneath the 13-foot sloped ceiling, while breathing in fresh mountain air through the private window. A second Queen bedroom, another full bathroom, the option to eat around the dining room table or large kitchen island, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer for all your adventure clothing.
Guest access
The height of our building makes it stand out. You will walk up a small set of stairs past a commercial office, to a full set of exterior stairs that will lead to your unit. Once inside, you will walk up an interior set of stairs where you will be taken aback by the views.
Other things to note
The building has 3 units. We live in the unit underneath where you will be staying. Please store your skis/snowboards/bikes with your vehicle. There is a shoe rack in the warm mechanical room as a space to dry out your boots, mittens, gloves, etc.

Things we were not so keen on were as follows: the fact that there was no where to safely store our bikes during our stay; the beds were not very comfortable and the blinds in the bedrooms did not keep out the light (morning or street light at night), so it was not easy to sleep in a very very bright room in an uncomfortable bed. The place itself was very comfortable for the three of us in that there was plenty of room. It was also nice to have two bathrooms/two showers."

This luxury 3-bedroom townhouse has a spacious and modern interior whilst still retaining the charm of mountain living. Split over 3 levels, there is ample space for up to 10 guests with 3 full bathrooms, an open gourmet kitchen as well as 3 living areas to relax in. There is a private hot tub on the back deck with lovely ski hill views.
The impressive master bedroom on the upper level features a King bed and massive en-suite bathroom, complete with slate tile floors, huge bathtub and separate shower. The middle floor includes the large kitchen with granite counter tops, second bedroom with 2 x Double beds and bathroom. This floor also houses the main living area and leads out to the private hot tub.
On the lower level there is garage access, the third bedroom with a Tri-bunk (Twin over Double) and a Twin bed, washer/dryer, and a separate media room. This property is situated between Fernie Alpine Resort and the town of Fernie (5 minute drive to each) making it the perfect base for all of the activities that Fernie offers. The bathroom has a lovely large walk-in shower. We supply hotel quality towels and locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo for you to use during your stay.
Behind a dividing wall you will find the welcoming queen bed with side tables and wardrobe. The window has blackout blinds to help with reducing the light during the summer months. Please note, the loft area is currently out of bounds and is not listed as an amenity.
Since this unit is in Downtown, please expect some local noise throughout the day and into the evenings. Fernie isn't a party town but during peak season there are definitely more people in the bars which are down the other end of the highstreet.

Welcome to our newly renovated loft in Fernie’s historic downtown. Our home has two bedrooms and an open concept living space with hotel quality linens, comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy downtown views & attractions, while being minutes away from trails, parks and the infamous Fernie Alpine Resort. Steps from our door, you will find an abundance of shops, cafes, galleries & restaurants. Our central location makes our listing the perfect place to enjoy Fernie to the fullest.
The space
2 Bedroom/1 full bath, modern condo, in the heart of Fernie's historic main street of 2nd avenue. The condo sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a master bedroom and queen bed, with a second bedroom hosting double bunk beds. There is also a storage garage at the back of the building for your use, where you can store your gear for every mountain activity. Your private garage is located on the right and has its own unique padlock and code. Please do not bring mountain bikes, skis or sports gear into the actual building. As for parking, street parking is free and available on a first come, first serve basis in both the front, side and rear of the building. During winter months, overnight parking is free in two downtown designated parking lot areas.
Pet policy:
No pets are allowed in the suite due to allergies of one of the hosts. This policy includes service animals, and we kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding in respecting this restriction.

The condo is located on the main drag of Fernie's history downtown site. The condo is located above a very quiet children's store, which closes each evening by 5 pm. There is a second suite above and next door, which is currently vacant for the owner's occasional use. Suites are 100 % sound proof and offer a peaceful surrounding in which to rest.
