- "The town of Fernie has everything you need and some interesting and scenic surroundings. It is primarily a biking, hiking, fishing, skiing mecca. A great place to use a mountain bike and lots of trails for both hiking and biking. It was nice to have two bedrooms with other shared space so we had the option of cooking our own meals although we ate out a lot. We found a couple of unique places - an Italian gelato shop and a French bakery plus several dress shops, spas and other specialty shops. Beautiful mountain scenery everywhere you look. there is the possibility of white water rafting and milder river tours as well. A great get-away, small quiet town."

The 901 building is located right on historic Second Avenue at the northern residential end. Located a 5-minute walk from Save On Foods, or a short 10-minute walk to the furthest store on 2nd Ave this location has an amazing walkability score. The ski hill is a short 8-minute drive or take the Fernie Stoke shuttle that picks you up right outside the building at 9th St Between 2nd & 3rd Ave. (Please note advanced tickets purchased are needed to ride the shuttle.)
Parking is located in the heated underground parking garage. You have one dedicated space located conveniently right by the door to the building and the other spaces available are guest parking, this is unassigned. Street parking is available but you need to follow City of Fernie winter parking regulations.

A modern, clean, bright space thoughtfully equipped with everything you need in a home away from home. 1200 sq feet including a Queen bedroom with a full ensuite- enjoy the expansive shower underneath the 13-foot sloped ceiling, while breathing in fresh mountain air through the private window. A second Queen bedroom, another full bathroom, the option to eat around the dining room table or large kitchen island, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer for all your adventure clothing.
Guest access
The height of our building makes it stand out. You will walk up a small set of stairs past a commercial office, to a full set of exterior stairs that will lead to your unit. Once inside, you will walk up an interior set of stairs where you will be taken aback by the views.
Other things to note
The building has 3 units. We live in the unit underneath where you will be staying. Please store your skis/snowboards/bikes with your vehicle. There is a shoe rack in the warm mechanical room as a space to dry out your boots, mittens, gloves, etc.

Things we were not so keen on were as follows: the fact that there was no where to safely store our bikes during our stay; the beds were not very comfortable and the blinds in the bedrooms did not keep out the light (morning or street light at night), so it was not easy to sleep in a very very bright room in an uncomfortable bed. The place itself was very comfortable for the three of us in that there was plenty of room. It was also nice to have two bathrooms/two showers."

There are laundry machines for you to use during your stay. There is also a communal laundry room within Silver Rock that you can use. Please do not wash mine work clothes in the suite's machines.

There is a private patio with outdoor chairs. Please note, there is no BBQ.

You will have access to the entire condo and all of the building amenities, such as the indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym and outdoor hot tub: there is so much included in your stay. PLEASE BE ADVISED: The hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room and gym are all subject to closures at any time due to various circumstances.
There is free underground (1 parking spot per unit) and outside parking available. Guests can also find a personal ski/snowboard locker for storage in the underground parkade.
Important Notice!!! The pool area is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of the year/beginning of January 2026. Construction crews will be working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and construction noise is expected during these hours.

Our property is on the first floor, meaning there is a flight of steps to get to the front door. There are also two lockers on the first floor balcony area that you can use during your stay, the keys are on the coat hooks just inside the main unit.

Throughout the house there are five, sprawling bedrooms of which two are setup for your stay (the other three are locked off). Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed dressed in hotel quality linens, as well as ample storage for your belongings. There are also three bathrooms, of which two will be available during your stay. The bathrooms will come fully stocked, including body wash/shampoo, hairdryer, and cozy towels.

The upstairs living room features a large flat screen Roku TV (no cable) for cozy movie nights in. Or, enjoy an evening of cards around one of the two fireplaces in the home. In the basement, there is an additional sitting area with a huge sectional large enough for the whole family to snuggle up on. For all your cooking needs, the kitchen comes stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay; toaster, kettle, dishwasher and coffee maker. You will need to walk up a flight of steps to get to the main door. As you walk in you will find trays for your shoes and hooks for your coats. Along the corridor, you will also find the ensuite laundry closet, furnace room, and closet.
LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN
At the end of the entrance corridor, you will come to the open-plan living area. Here you will find the fully equipped kitchen with all the large and small appliances you will need to whip up a light snack or full meal. In addition to the expected, you will also find a blender and popcorn maker that you are welcome to use. There is also a supply of salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee for you to use during your stay. The dining table is small, and you will find extra folding chairs beside the fridge.
The living space is comfortable and has two sofas, ceiling fan, a large Roku TV with standard cable, a ceiling fan, and a shelf full of games that you are welcome to use.

Our two bedroom apartment in the Fernie Annex has plenty of space to feel right at home in. There are a set of external steps to walk up to reach our top floor apartment.
ENTRANCE AREA
Immediately in front of you there is a large walk in open closet area for you to store your boots and ski or board, along with coats and shoes.
KITCHEN
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you could need. We supply salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans. Don't worry, we also provide a coffee bean grinder and coffee machine - just bring your whitener of choice! There are two bar stools at the end of the kitchen counter, perfect for that morning coffee!
OPEN PLAN LIVING
After a long day exploring, curl up on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV to relax (no cable). There is also a wooden dinning table with bench seating, and many homely touches that make this place ideal for your next vacation. On the dinning table you will find a remote for the light switch above.
BATHROOM
Hotel quality towels are provided, along with locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo for your use. There is a tub with shower over, and a large vanity unit.

ENTRANCE
You will need to walk up a flight of steps to get to the main door. As you walk in you will find trays for your shoes and hooks for your coats. Along the corridor, you will also find the ensuite laundry closet, furnace room, closet, and a door to one of the bedrooms.
LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN
At the end of the entrance corridor, you will come to the open-plan living area. Here you will find the fully equipped kitchen with all the large and small appliances you will need to whip up a light snack or full meal. In addition to the expected, you will also find a blender and popcorn maker that you are welcome to use. There is also a supply of salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee for you to use during your stay. The dining table is small, and you will find extra folding chairs beside the fridge.
The living space is comfortable and has two sofas, ceiling fan, a large Roku TV with standard cable, a ceiling fan, and a shelf full of games that you are welcome to use.
PATIO
From the lounge and kitchen area, there are patio doors that open out onto a lovely deck area with seating. There are also steps down to the ground floor from the deck.

From the entrance hall, you have immediate access to the lock-off unit which has a queen bed, closet, streaming TV (Fire TV), and ensuite with tub-shower combo. Additionally, you will find a mini fridge and microwave in here.
Just off the dining area, you will find another bedroom with a queen bed, closet, two dressers, and access to the main bathroom (Jack and Jill style). There is a tub-shower combo in this bathroom.

Welcome to our newly renovated loft in Fernie’s historic downtown. Our home has two bedrooms and an open concept living space with hotel quality linens, comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy downtown views & attractions, while being minutes away from trails, parks and the infamous Fernie Alpine Resort. Steps from our door, you will find an abundance of shops, cafes, galleries & restaurants. Our central location makes our listing the perfect place to enjoy Fernie to the fullest.
The space
2 Bedroom/1 full bath, modern condo, in the heart of Fernie's historic main street of 2nd avenue. The condo sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a master bedroom and queen bed, with a second bedroom hosting double bunk beds. There is also a storage garage at the back of the building for your use, where you can store your gear for every mountain activity. Your private garage is located on the right and has its own unique padlock and code. Please do not bring mountain bikes, skis or sports gear into the actual building. As for parking, street parking is free and available on a first come, first serve basis in both the front, side and rear of the building. During winter months, overnight parking is free in two downtown designated parking lot areas.
Pet policy:
No pets are allowed in the suite due to allergies of one of the hosts. This policy includes service animals, and we kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding in respecting this restriction.

The condo is located on the main drag of Fernie's history downtown site. The condo is located above a very quiet children's store, which closes each evening by 5 pm. There is a second suite above and next door, which is currently vacant for the owner's occasional use. Suites are 100 % sound proof and offer a peaceful surrounding in which to rest.
