Completely self-contained and sound proof with a private entrance off the back deck. One large queen-size bedroom with full ensuite, walk in shower and stacked laundry. - "It was an enjoyable place to stay. Also there were deer out in the yard which was awesome to see. Great stay." - "Taylor was very good to deal with. She laid out all the details for the door lock and the rooms. The rental was very clean and has everything except ta kitchen, (which is stated). If you have a pet with you, the yard is not fully fenced and there are 3 deer who will often be only a few feet out the door. This wasn't an issue for us as our dog is trained. Access to the area is easy and there are amenities within two blocks, 4min walk. The only issue and it was very easily fixed, was using the fireplace and the electric kettle or microwave concurrently. It popped the breaker. Taylor corrected that the next day. Overall, you'll be happy in this unit. I'll be staying again."

The path to the backyard features a gravel trail with a small hill, followed by long gravel and wooden steps. There's a railing for support, but please note that the steps can be a bit tricky, especially in certain weather conditions.

During your stay, you'll have access to the entire walk-in basement suite, and the backyard is all yours to enjoy. You can park in the front driveway, but for those with mobility concerns, it's easiest to enter through the back gate (please note: this gate may be blocked by ice during winter months).

We're currently making some improvements and appreciate your understanding during this process. Please note that the gravel path down the hill can be a bit tricky, and the backyard may get icy in the winter. The bathroom and kitchen don’t have ventilation, so please keep that in mind. The basement is finished but still undergoing some updates following challenges with our previous contractor.
This is a pet-friendly space, perfect for furry friends!

The suite is a cozy one-room, above-garage studio. It includes a queen bed, sofa, and dining area.
Connected to the studio is a combined washing room and wee kitchenette with a shower, full laundry, mini-fridge, microwave, and hotplate. This room is shared with my family, and I ensure privacy by closing and locking our access when guests are with us.
A window air conditioner keeps the space cool in the warmer months, and baseboard heaters with your own thermostat control on cooler days.
This suite is perfect for one or two adult guests.
The suite is available for short-term (day-to-day) rentals between May 1-September 30. I am taking applications for a single tenant to rent the suite for 7 months, fully furnished and supplied for seven months from October 1, 2025-April April 30, 2026.
