This suite is a separate space, that is all your own, with a walkout to the hot tub. It has its own bathroom with a very large shower. Across the hall is the bedroom and It’s meant to be comfortable and cozy. Then up the hall there is the Livingroom, kitchenette and eating space. We try to keep a great coffee bar as best as possible. If you need anything extra please let us know. There are usually a few extras in the fridge. NOTE: The second bed is a single cot.
Directions: Head northbound/Southbound on Hwy 2 if depending on where you are coming from South (Calgary) or Edmonton (Noth). Once you get to Hwy 11 take West toward Sylvan Lake.
Then exit right at the traffic circle. Take the first immediate right then your next street left. Your next second right at the gas station (Cango), Lakeway BLV. Then you take the next right at a walklight which is Old Boomer Rd. The next street you see named Lodge Place before the Fox Run school is ours.
Then you have if you use your GPS might take you into the back alley, DON'T which will keep you in circles and get you lost. The best way to avoid this is to put in 10 Lodge Place.
Then once you get to that address on the street keep on going to our address at 61 Lodge Place.
Parking - Park on the street we try to leave the front open so you can park in the front parallel or angle if you like please do not block our lawn as we park on that. Whether short term or long term, this space is bright and spacious with all the amenities you'll need to ensure your comfort. Our location is in a quiet neighbourhood which backs onto a part. We're also close to downtown Lacombe (literally two minutes!) and local attractions. You have a fully equipped kitchen suite with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher and coffee maker. There is also in-suite laundry for your convenience. TV options include cable, or Apple TV through which you can connect to your Netflix account. On the second floor of a completely rebuilt heritage building, this European-style apartment is the most central of all apartments in Red Deer. On the corner of 50th and 50th in the heart of the city it has easy access to social and recreational amenities. Many restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and walking trails are within metres of this location. It's one block to the civic bus terminal, city hall park, and central in the business and historical district.
The apartment has a large kitchen and sitting area and is ideal if you want to entertain friends or just relax. Some of the local establishments are, Sunworks Living, 53 on Ross, Tacoloft, Chubby Jerk BBQ & Kitchen, The Velvet Olive, Oishidesu Ramen, are all within a block by foot.
The units in the Metropolitan Block are four of Red Deer's premium condos. The building is home to professionals and has refined furnishings. We cater only to professional people who treat the condos as they would their homes. These units are not basements suite in far away suburbs. They are not slum rentals. You will have your own living space with all of the comforts of home. You will pay more than other airbnbs because you will be staying in a upscale, well appointed suite with heated floors, granite counter tops, in condo facilities, large two-person showers, European-styling, original art works, and high quality memory form beds. They also feature 12 foot ceilings and skylights that create an extra usual sense of spaciousness in the common areas.
My partner and I have several businesses downtown, we are usually available to answer any questions, and help out with directions and recommendations as to where to go and what to do.

There is not any dedicated parking for this building, but street parking is plenty, and available right in front of the building. It is free from 4:30 p.m. - 8 a.m. and all weekend. During the week it is limited to two hours and you have to use a pay station or the HotSpotMobile App. There is an 8 hour pay lot just behind the building and a 24 hour parkade within a block.
Our other available Lofts are listed as Metropolitan Loft 202, Metropolitan Loft 203, and Metropolitan Loft 204. All of these lofts are only accessible by stairs, long term stays are available.

Only 2 floors, I have the corner unit. The highway Gatez will take you anywhere in the city, only 10-15 min.

The space
walking up the stairs to the apartment you will find the entrance on your left hand side. Entering a little hallway, bedroom #1 is on your left. It's a cozy space that will sleep 2 adults. The spacious bathroom has 2 lockable doors, a vanity, a toilet and a spacious walk-in shower. Adjacent to the bathroom is bedroom #2, with 2 single beds that can be moved together to make a king sized bed. Across from bedroom #2 you will find the fully equipped kitchen, leading to the spacious living space with a dining room table that will seat 6, a couch, some cozy chairs, a work space, a tv, board games, books, all in a stylishly furnished spaced that stays true to the historic character of the home. Floors are somewhat slanted, doors are creaky, when the train passes there's rattling windows, all are adding to the charm of this beautiful building. Trying to maintain the historical integrity while providing you with a comfortable space to stay.
Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of the building, the stairs are steep and may be challenging for people with mobility issues.
