Things to Note
The Garden of Eagen is situated on a mountainside overlooking Lake Pend Oreille. There is no lake access from the property.

We are a pet friendly home, but all pets must be pre-approved prior to booking. Please include the names, ages and breeds of your traveling companions in your booking request. Pet fee is $15/day.

The home is designed with privacy in mind, but is not secluded. We are located on a street with other residents and neighbors. The interior, deck and hot tub are fully private and provides full privacy for your stay.

There are 2 steps required to access this home. A handrail has been installed to assist those with mobility concerns.

This is a stand alone property with off street parking.

Seasonal Considerations:

Winter
To access the Garden of Eagen, 4WD or AWD may be required. We recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle if visiting November-March.

Please take caution when walking on icy surfaces.

Summer
This home does not have air conditioning. We provide ceiling fans, portable fans and screened in windows for cross ventilation.

Holidays
We do decorate our home for the Christmas holiday with a small Christmas tree, garland, etc.

Cabin in the Meadow is a newly constructed quaint & secluded custom built cabin; hand crafted with love & timber off of our own land, where rustic primitive and modern technology meet. Tucked away overlooking the meadow and surrounded by fir trees, it’s the perfect little getaway.

We specifically designed our cabin for the comfort of two adult guests.
For safety reasons, we have a no young child/toddler policy, infants & children over the age of 12 welcome.

Special Seasonal Notes: Fireplace: During the summer months we turn off the fireplace pilot light, if you desire to use the fireplace please let us know and we will be happy to relight it for you.

Driveway: During the winter months the steep driveway to cabin is well maintained, plowed & sanded. However, we highly recommend AWD vehicles.

A scenic 30 minute drive will take you to Schweitzer Mountain Village, where there is everything from bluegrass festivals to huckleberry picking in the summer and world-class skiing in the winter.

The Festival at Sandpoint's Concert Series in late July through early August is an annual event not to be missed!

There are endless opportunities to sight-see, bike, boat, paddle board, kayak, swim, raft, hike, sail, ski, snowboard, snowshoe or just relax in our picturesque town.

We have uniquely decorated this cabin so that you feel warm & welcomed, and rest assured that cleanliness is of utmost importance.

Chances are good that you will see Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer, if you’re lucky a Moose and/or Black Bear may pass though. Please do not approach the wildlife.

Surveillance cameras are in place at the driveway entrance and on the parking spaces only.

We live onsite and are close enough to accommodate you quickly if there's anything you need, but far enough away you won’t be disturbed.

The road climbing up to Schweitzer was exhilarating, like climbing a mountain and then we found...the castle. It was beautiful and clean and had all of these amazing artifacts from the 15th and 16th centuries and all of the modern amenities we could wish for. The owner even brought us a dragon cake to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary which was completely a surprise and so appreciated....as if anything could have made the stay more perfect. This charming shabby chic and private waterfront cabin is a wonderful place for two people who want to get away from it all! Our romantic Swanky Cabin is newly renovated and features an open floor plan, one loft bedroom with a Layla queen bed, a full bathroom with shower and washer and dryer. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, high-speed internet, 2 large flat screen TV's, pool table and a large sectional sleeper sofa. The well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area make this a great spot to dine in . You can also BBQ on the deck overlooking the gorgeous Clark Fork River and enjoy dining in natures finest!
During the summer enjoy some of North Idaho’s best fishing, unlimited hiking, swimming, crawdad hunting, kayaking and basking in the warm sun! After enjoying a long day on the river, head in to watch a DVD, play some pool or choose a board game to play.

Please note: during snowy winter months 4wd is required. You must drive down a mini semi-steep hill for parking. We will have snow plowing during winter months and we ask that you move your vehicle when the plow comes by so they can clear the entire driveway. Also, depending how long your stay is, we may need to come by and shovel the snow off the deck and the front entry way, but we will be sure to give advanced notice. - "This was a beautiful property and amazing home! With every little thing put in the home with love and care, you can tell! We had a blast playing pool, enjoying the views, and paddle boarding. You do have to scale the hill with a rope to the river but we didn’t have any issues! Still got the paddle boards down , we did have to carry them up a bit to prevent the water rise at night washing them away. We had a very friendly pup visit us by the water and swing who wanted nothing but to play! What a joy! Neighbors were no bother and still seems to be pretty private from them. Sadly we could not have any fires due to the season but I’m sure they’d be beautiful, instead we watched the helicopters collect water from the river for the nearby fires. We used our paddle boards to go about two miles up river to the fish hatchery and back and explored all the woods and beautiful mountain run off spots further up off shore. I love to explore new places every year and this will definitely be one of my favorites! Very memorable and anything I didn’t have was supplied for my forgetful self. Leave the city, come breathe some fresh air and relax with the majestic cedar trees!

I have a nicely decorated, clean one bedroom cabin (550 sq ft) in 12 acres of forest far away from the hustle of modern life. Come to hike, walk, swim, read, write or just watch the stunning pine trees.

A queen bed in a small bedroom, sleeper sofa and small loft with a queen mattress are available for two people to choose their sleeping spot. There are ample cotton linens, necessary kitchen amenities, dishes, wine and martini glasses, etc. and a washer and dryer.

Unplug from it all and relax in the peace of your own forest. I live up the hill from the cabin; however, the privacy of the forest hides my home. No neighbors can be seen from the cabin and my Whispering Pines Forest is pristine.

Watch the deer and turkeys walk by, play a game of horseshoes and use the old fashioned outhouse. Don't worry the cabin has plumbing, hot water, a toilet and shower/tub! (It is a small bathroom with a low ceiling.)

There is no T.V phone or internet and the cell reception is spotty. You can walk up the short, dirt road to get cell reception and then log into my internet, if desired.

Unwind with a good book, build a puzzle and take a contemplative walk in the forest or nearby trail, about 5 minutes walk from the cabin.

There is easy, ample parking in front of the cabin with lots of room for your toys (boat, ATVs’, etc.). Bring your saw and fall a dying tree, if you like! Afterwards light a campfire in front of the cabin to relax.

More action oriented, head three miles down to Lake Pend Oreille at Talache Landing for a swim or to launch your canoe or kayak. Mirror Lake, a small lake, is also about two miles away for swimming and rentals of small boats or old paddle boats for $30-45 a day. Bottle Bay is a nice swimming beach with a little restaurant too.

Head into Sandpoint for restaurants, a beach walk and swimming, parasailing, small plane sightseeing, lake cruise, horseback riding, boat and bike rentals and nearby hiking and surrounding area.

*The neighborhood is mainly doublewide homes with working class folk. The surplus of dogs can occasionally bark. A neighbor runs a generator for his power (grr!!), so you can hear a low hum when outside the cabin if you are attempting to sit in silence. If you are talking and moving around you will not hear the generator.

There is a convenience store and gas station (Conoco) and Dollar Store (with some groceries) 20 minutes or so from the cabin at Sagle Road and the 95. The grocery stores are in Sandpoint, another 10 minutes north. There is a Super One in Athol 45 minutes south of Sagle right off the 95 on your way up, if you’re coming from the south.

This is the perfect getaway cabin any season of the year! The cabin backs up to the Kaniksu National Forest and many miles of dirt roads and trails for hunting, hiking, 4-wheeling, motorcycles, side by sides, horseback riding, bike riding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling with a warming hut up the road. The 600 S.F. apartment has granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, built-in beds, kitchen table, sitting area with TV, and air conditioning. There are 2 custom built queen beds with a twin bed above each. Perfect for 2 couples or families with kids. Enjoy the beauty of northern Idaho right out your door. During the summer you will have a private waterfront area on Comeback Bay with easy access to Lake Pend Orielle. There are canoes available for your use or you can bring your own kayaks, paddleboards or other water toys. From mid-September through the end of May, the water level is lowered limiting water access as the bay becomes a creek during this time.

You will also have a newly built fire pit with chairs, picnic table, and grill for your enjoyment. Firewood is available for purchase if you would like to enjoy a campfire. You will also have access to a forested area with walking trails just across the road.

In the winter, Enjoy the snow sports at North Idaho’s destination ski resort Schweitzer Mountain! The Schweitzer Mountain Village/Ski Resort is a short 30 minute drive from the loft. There are ample areas for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing all around. Bring your snow mobiles and other snow toys and take advantage of the endless opportunities. Our location is a faster and easier drive to town for the fantastic restaurants and nightlife without braving the steep and winding road up and down Schweitzer Mountain.

The Huckleberry Haus is a custom cabin (not a condo) that sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably! It sits on a private lot that backs up against a creek. The space:

Our two story home sits on a hillside, overlooking lake Pend Oreille and the town of Bayview, ID. Just off the main road, you travel down a dirt road for about a 1/4 mile before arriving at the home. There is parking for two vehicles in front of the home. The main level offers a living room with amazing views of the lake, double sliding glass doors that open up to the upper wrap around deck, a full size sleeper sofa, fully appointed kitchen, eating nook (table seats up to 6), 3/4 bathroom (shower, no tub) and 1 bedroom. The bedroom connects to the bathroom, has a king size bed and partial views of the lake. The lower level of the home has a roomy game/lounge area with a queen sleeper sofa. Large windows along the south wall offer more incredible views of the lake. On either end are sliding glass doors that open up to the lower, wrap around deck. The second bedroom, just off of the main room, has a queen over queen bunk bed, plus a twin trundle. You will also find a full bathroom and full laundry room. There are 4 smart tv’s throughout the home, all with Blu-ray players. A bbq and large, farm style table is located on the lower deck to enjoy your meals outside. From the lower deck, you can access the stairs that take you down to the lake and boat dock. The expansive dock offers plenty of space for lounging, fishing and lake time fun! PLEASE NOTE: Home occupancy - we allow 4 adults MAX, with a maximum capacity of 8 in the home, when including children. All occupants past the first 6 is an additional $20 per person, per night - no exception. We do NOT allow parties or large gatherings.

Water Levels - Mid September to Mid June, water levels are low and provide a rocky beach for exploring. During this time the dock drops and is not accessible by boat. The two higher decks connected to the dock are open for your enjoyment. Mid June to mid September the rocky beach is covered and the dock rises with the water, allowing boat access and swimming off the dock.

This waterfront home is located in Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille. Located in a protected bay, you will enjoy the lake views from the home and the tranquility of the forest. With a large, deep water dock, you can bring your own boat and use the boat lift (July 15-September 15). Lake Pend Oreille is known for trophy trout fishing. You'll be cooking fish on our grill that has a hardline gas option or charcoal. In the evening, relax at the gas fire pit on the deck or jump in the brand new hot tub.
The home comfortably sleeps 6 people. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features 2 twin beds over 2 full sized beds. It also has a great puzzle and game collection for the kids and adults alike. The great room features a well-stocked kitchen and a dining table that can be for meals or puzzles in the evening. We are a minute from the public marina and conveniently two minutes from Odie's Grocery store if you need last second items. We are centrally located between world famous skiing and fun themeparks. We are a 20 minute drive north to downtown Sandpoint and a 35 minute drive to Schweitzer Ski Resort. Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach are 35 minutes south of us. Coeur d'Alene is approximately 50 minutes south of our home.

We put the kids on sleeping mats in the living room, and had plenty of space for all of us. Be careful driving up, there are lots of deer in the area. The payoff was a "Disney" moment with several deer and two new fawns during breakfast. Good base of operations for the lake area." - "The views are breathtaking!!! Minimal to no sound between attached cabins. Along with your cabin you have reserved, the open spaces, patio, fire pit and the bountiful forested grounds. Base camp cabins, include, queen bed, a single bunk and couch, a desk, well lighted, sitting room with folding tables trays. Full kitchen and full bathroom with deep soaking tub. Quality linens, towels, dishes, utensils, coffee maker and more are provided. Wash and dry laundry service can be arranged. Check out movies, games, snowshoes, iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc. We wish you comfort, privacy, a restful and inspiring stay. Both cabins can be rented together for added space and higher occupancy.

Guest access
Guest has full private access to their rented unit with one parking space, the open grounds and forest trails. There is a fully equipped art studio and many year round art workshops are available as well as private lessons and guidance for an added fee. Use of art studio for personal projects is negotiable with resident artists.

You can bring your own RV, camper, tent, etc. there are full hookups (water, electric and sewer). There are 2 sites, each are located near a stream with drive up spaces. There is no bathroom, showers or garbage as you need to have those things in your camper or RV.
A group firepit is between the camp spots and open to all guests to use between 7am-10pm.

The space
The space is located along a creek on a part of our property that has been converted into camping spots with full hookups. Each spot is level and has room to back an RV, camper, trailer, van, etc. There is also a space with a picnic table to enjoy your meals and coffee outside.

Guest access
Guests will be able to pull in directly off the road and onto the driveway that goes to the campsites. The road is graveled the entire way

Other things to note
This is a multi spot campground and we ask that each site respect the others space. Do not go into other campsites or make excessive noise so everyone can enjoy their stay.
If you are using the group fire pit please be courteous of other campers. We ask that you only use the firepit between 7am-10pm.
If you bring your pets, they have to be on a leash and under control as there are other dogs on the property also.
We are in the forest and there is wildlife (deer, rabbits, turkeys, and occasional bear or mountain lion). Please be cautious and never leave your pets tied up outside.

The space

The road to the property is a gravel road that can require a 4-Wheel Drive during the snowy winter season and the mud season (early spring rains).

The MOOSE room is a private room on the main floor at Keystone Mountain Retreat. Guests enjoy 20 acres of forest accented with stunning wildlife murals, waterfalls & pond, picnic area with fire pit, garden beds created by stone artisan/owner of Keystone Masonry just a few miles north of Sandpoint. The space
This main floor bedroom is named in honor of the moose that have enjoyed relaxing in the pond and around the double waterfall. They may roam the perimeter of the yard, stripping leaves from certain favorite trees. There is even a set of mini moose antlers, found on the property (ask for details, its quite the story). The windows overlook the raised garden beds, raspberry patch, plus moose & bear murals. Peek out the windows frequently, as we never know what wildlife show will be there!

You'll enjoy a peaceful night's rest with the cushy memory foam topper atop the queen mattress which gives the bed a snuggly feel with nice support.

Stay on 20 acres surrounded by nature and wildlife at Keystone Mountain Retreat. Follow the path to a hidden picnic area and stone fire pit, then continue on to see the view and massive boulders. Relax on one of the benches. If you are fortunate, you might spy a deer, moose, eagles, wild turkeys, Canadian geese or snowshoe hare in the yard, at the overlook, or as you round the corner. Watch for amazing stone wildlife murals as you go. Lucious raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries might be ready for eating from June to August. The coming of snow transforms this area into a winter wonderland. Big fluffy flakes flock the towering pines like something out of a postcard.

The best times for wildlife viewing are during early morning walks. Take in the tranquility of a stroll around the loop driveway or lounge in one of the comfortable benches at the overlook. On a clear day you can see the Seven Sisters of the Selkirk mountain range to the northwest.

The living room, kitchen, and grounds are shared with the hosts. An airbed can be set up in the living room for an extra charge of $20 per night.

Restful RV sites in our beautiful, peaceful setting with sunrise, wildlife and mountain views, less than 10 minutes from Lake Pend Oreille in East Hope.

This house has been filled with music and art for many years and I’m pleased to be able to share it with others . You’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in! Welcome!

The space
Guests will have their own cozy, comfortable private room with queen size bed and adjoining private bathroom w/shower. The living room and kitchen are shared spaces available at all times. I have one cat , Chico, and occasional moose visitors!

The large fenced back yard offers a sun deck, hot tub, patio with outdoor brick barbecue, and fire pit for evening “campfires”. The front porch sitting area is also available.

Located on Lake Pend Oreille, this is a tiny cabin with double bed, electric heater, coffee maker. However, if you are looking for a meticulous, hotel-like experience, this may not be the venue for you. It is upscale camping surrounded by nature: bugs, critters, scat, neighborhood dogs. The detached bathroom has a composting toilet, and outdoor, solar shower. With BBQ, picnic table and deck, we are primarily for hardy couples, who appreciate a beautiful but rustic setting, with water access.

This is a quasi-camping experience:

- There is no running water or shower.
- There is a composting toilet located in the bathroom building
- There is a campfire pit with wood available for purchase.
- There is waterfront access on the lot.
- There are multiple kayaks, a canoe and 2 SUP boards that are available for rent.

Enjoy your stay in this Cute little one bedroom single wide house with deer that frequent the yard, a short walk to Bayview Marina, restaurants/bars and a small local market. Sit on in the deck shaded by maple trees and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea, and bbq with the family in the evening.

The space
A nice little one bedroom with queen size memory foam mattress, with a queen size memory foam pullout bed in the living room. Family style bench seating in the kitchen or chairs and table available outside.

Guest access
Guests are free to use the entire space, yard and deck. Parking is in the rear on N Corbin. Corbin is a dirt road which is well maintained, no more than 200 yards. There is additional parking in the front by the shed, but please be careful as there is a septic clean out cap there.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars, surrounded by lush forest and a natural mountain stream. This spot is located just 10 min from Sandpoint, but you feel like your much farther. The rv camper has a queen bed with full bathroom, kitchen and living quarters. There is a foldout bed and also an air mattress and pack n play upon request.
The kitchen will have the basics. We also have a nice setup outside with furniture so you can enjoy the outdoors from morning coffee to dinner.

The space
The space is a private Rv trailer that is parked stream side on out forested property. There are 3 campsites and this listing is for Site #3. There is the main bedroom with the small bathroom. The living room has a foldout couch and 2 comfy chairs, dining table, and full kitchen. The basics in the kitchen will be provided. Dishes, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, gas stove, fridge/freezer and storage space. The WIFI has been spotty and not working well as the camp spots are in a "dead zone" so we cannot guarantee it will be available. Please inquire if you would like the password and want to try it out.
We can provide an air mattress upon request and a pack n play for infants( no mattress, just the firm bottom layer it comes with).
You will have a semi private space along the stream, with direct access to the stream and surrounding areas. There will be lawn furniture, awning coming off the Rv, table and chairs.
There are 2 other open spots next to this spot for other guests to bring their own RV’s, tents or camping setup. So if there are other guests, you will see them and share common spaces like the road, pond and some pathways.
Pets are not welcome as they are not allowed in the RV trailer.

Guest access
This is for the trailer at Site #3. Guests will have access to the entire Rv trailer and immediate space on outside of it. There is a designated area outside that is only for this space that will be yours during your stay.
Guests will also have access to the stream, nature trail, driveway, pond and main road while here. We just ask that you do not enter other camping spots if occupied or go up to the house and orchard where the host lives.

New TV with Roku. You can use the WiFi and then login to your own streaming services.
