Cabin in the Meadow is a newly constructed quaint & secluded custom built cabin; hand crafted with love & timber off of our own land, where rustic primitive and modern technology meet. Tucked away overlooking the meadow and surrounded by fir trees, it’s the perfect little getaway.

We specifically designed our cabin for the comfort of two adult guests.
For safety reasons, we have a no young child/toddler policy, infants & children over the age of 12 welcome.
Effortless check in and check out, we do not require our guests to follow any rules upon departure.

Special Seasonal Notes: Fireplace: During the summer months we turn off the fireplace pilot light, if you desire to use the fireplace please let us know and we will be happy to relight it for you.

Driveway: During the winter months the steep driveway to cabin is well maintained, plowed & sanded. However, we highly recommend AWD vehicles.

In downtown Sandpoint you can peruse local shops, coffee houses, the Panida Theater, amazing restaurants, City Beach and the clear waters of Lake Pend Oreille.

A scenic 30 minute drive will take you to Schweitzer Mountain Village, where there is everything from bluegrass festivals to huckleberry picking in the summer and world-class skiing in the winter.

The Festival at Sandpoint's Concert Series in late July through early August is an annual event not to be missed!

There are endless opportunities to sight-see, bike, boat, paddle board, kayak, swim, raft, hike, sail, ski, snowboard, snowshoe or just relax in our picturesque town.

We have uniquely decorated this cabin so that you feel warm & welcomed, and rest assured that cleanliness is of utmost importance.

Chances are good that you will see Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer, if you’re lucky a Moose and/or Black Bear may pass though. Please do not approach the wildlife.

Surveillance cameras are in place at the driveway entrance and on the parking spaces only.

We live onsite and are close enough to accommodate you quickly if there's anything you need, but far enough away you won’t be disturbed.

This charming shabby chic and private waterfront cabin is a wonderful place for two people who want to get away from it all! Our romantic Swanky Cabin is newly renovated and features an open floor plan, one loft bedroom with a Layla queen bed, a full bathroom with shower and washer and dryer. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, high-speed internet, 2 large flat screen TV's, pool table and a large sectional sleeper sofa. The well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area make this a great spot to dine in . You can also BBQ on the deck overlooking the gorgeous Clark Fork River and enjoy dining in natures finest!
During the summer enjoy some of North Idaho’s best fishing, unlimited hiking, swimming, crawdad hunting, kayaking and basking in the warm sun! After enjoying a long day on the river, head in to watch a DVD, play some pool or choose a board game to play.

Please note: during snowy winter months 4wd is required. You must drive down a mini semi-steep hill for parking. We will have snow plowing during winter months and we ask that you move your vehicle when the plow comes by so they can clear the entire driveway. Also, depending how long your stay is, we may need to come by and shovel the snow off the deck and the front entry way, but we will be sure to give advanced notice. - "This was a beautiful property and amazing home! With every little thing put in the home with love and care, you can tell! We had a blast playing pool, enjoying the views, and paddle boarding. You do have to scale the hill with a rope to the river but we didn’t have any issues! Still got the paddle boards down , we did have to carry them up a bit to prevent the water rise at night washing them away. We had a very friendly pup visit us by the water and swing who wanted nothing but to play! What a joy! Neighbors were no bother and still seems to be pretty private from them. Sadly we could not have any fires due to the season but I’m sure they’d be beautiful, instead we watched the helicopters collect water from the river for the nearby fires. We used our paddle boards to go about two miles up river to the fish hatchery and back and explored all the woods and beautiful mountain run off spots further up off shore. I love to explore new places every year and this will definitely be one of my favorites! Very memorable and anything I didn’t have was supplied for my forgetful self. Leave the city, come breathe some fresh air and relax with the majestic cedar trees!

I have a nicely decorated, clean one bedroom cabin (550 sq ft) in 12 acres of forest far away from the hustle of modern life. Come to hike, walk, swim, read, write or just watch the stunning pine trees.

A queen bed in a small bedroom, sleeper sofa and small loft with a queen mattress are available for two people to choose their sleeping spot. There are ample cotton linens, necessary kitchen amenities, dishes, wine and martini glasses, etc. and a washer and dryer.

Unplug from it all and relax in the peace of your own forest. I live up the hill from the cabin; however, the privacy of the forest hides my home. No neighbors can be seen from the cabin and my Whispering Pines Forest is pristine.

Watch the deer and turkeys walk by, play a game of horseshoes and use the old fashioned outhouse. Don't worry the cabin has plumbing, hot water, a toilet and shower/tub! (It is a small bathroom with a low ceiling.)

There is no T.V phone or internet and the cell reception is spotty. You can walk up the short, dirt road to get cell reception and then log into my internet, if desired.

Unwind with a good book, build a puzzle and take a contemplative walk in the forest or nearby trail, about 5 minutes walk from the cabin.

There is easy, ample parking in front of the cabin with lots of room for your toys (boat, ATVs’, etc.). Bring your saw and fall a dying tree, if you like! Afterwards light a campfire in front of the cabin to relax.

More action oriented, head three miles down to Lake Pend Oreille at Talache Landing for a swim or to launch your canoe or kayak. Mirror Lake, a small lake, is also about two miles away for swimming and rentals of small boats or old paddle boats for $30-45 a day. Bottle Bay is a nice swimming beach with a little restaurant too.

Head into Sandpoint for restaurants, a beach walk and swimming, parasailing, small plane sightseeing, lake cruise, horseback riding, boat and bike rentals and nearby hiking and surrounding area.

*The neighborhood is mainly doublewide homes with working class folk. The surplus of dogs can occasionally bark. A neighbor runs a generator for his power (grr!!), so you can hear a low hum when outside the cabin if you are attempting to sit in silence. If you are talking and moving around you will not hear the generator.

There is a convenience store and gas station (Conoco) and Dollar Store (with some groceries) 20 minutes or so from the cabin at Sagle Road and the 95. The grocery stores are in Sandpoint, another 10 minutes north. There is a Super One in Athol 45 minutes south of Sagle right off the 95 on your way up, if you’re coming from the south.

Adorable Float house in Bayview ID. Studio type with 2 full futon beds in common areas separated by 1 bathroom each with their own smart TV. Right on the water with gorgeous views of Lake Pend Oreille and surrounding mountains. Head to Farragut State Park to Hike, mountain bike or take on the Tree to Tree adventure Park (zip lines and obstacle courses) or even frisbee golf all 3 minutes away. Enjoy roller coaster ride thrills or Boulder Beach water park at Silverwood Amusement Park only 10 minutes away. If you just want to chill you can sip coffee or a yummy beverage right out the back door!! - "We spent a week at this cabin midsummer 2023 and it was incredible. We couldn't believe how gorgeous it was when we walked in, well appointed with everything you could need, and lots of space for our family of four. The yard and area with firepit, hot tub and hammock was beautifully maintained, along with a cute little deck and chairs for morning coffees. Gina, the host, was super attentive to anything we had questions about, and even had 18 farm fresh eggs left for us. The location was nice and quiet, but also offered easy and quick access into Sandpoint, although we ended up finding an amazing local spot on the Pack River to spend a lot of our "beach" time. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more and will book here again on any future trips to the area."

Cozy, rustic, charming and unique tiny cabin in the North Idaho forest on 20 acres next to a creek. Heaven for the Nature lover. 1 Mile to a beautiful Lake. Great swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. 30 minutes to Sandpoint, 25 minutes to Priest River, an hour to Priest Lake, 55 minutes to CDL and 1.5 hours to Spokane international airport. *outdoor hot water shower is disabled mid Oct.-May 1. Are you looking for a place to escape to and tune into Nature? Do you need to get away from your computer and wi-fi ? This is a recharging station for the soul! Deep in the forest and near a non-motorized lake. You will wake up to the birds, the breeze and the sound of the creek. It's a nice well maintained gravel road, almost at the end, so there isn't hardly any traffic.
The wood stove heats up the cabin quickly for chilly mornings or stormy days. There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane).

The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a counter top to prepare your food. I have two new Andirondacks outdoor chairs and table along with a free standing fire pit. We have a hammock hanging in the shade of the cedars. A great place to rest or read a book.
There are pans, dishes, silver ware, olive oil, salt and pepper, dish soap and a sink with running water. A Cooler that is built into a work top counter is also provided.
We have tapped into the spring water system! It's wonderful to have running water inside the cabin and also in the outdoor kitchen sink.

We now have power at the cabin. It is minimal, but helpful. there are two beautiful antique chandeliers inside and two outside lights. There are outdoor plugins and also, four outlets inside. There is an oil heater to heat up the upstairs and there is an electric blanket on the bed that keeps you warm in the winter if needed.

It's great to bring flip flops for the outdoor shower, and a flashlight or headlamp. We also provide the toilet paper and paper towels, and towels for your shower (not for the lake). There is Earth friendly shampoo and soap here also.

Guests have access around the tiny cabin. Beyond the cabin and the garden, PLEASE ask for permission by contacting Lori first.Thank you!
Other things to note. Verizon is spotty here. AT&T and other networks like consumer cellar work great! We do have a young 50 pound dog here. She is off leash and friendly and loves other dogs. She will be the first to greet you! Her name is Nevada.

There is normally an instant hot water outdoor shower here. From mid Oct- May 1st it's not in operation. We have to winterize it so it doesn't freeze up. There is still a covered outdoor composting toilet year round.

We provide wood for your indoor fire. If you're going to have an outdoor fire please provide your own wood for it. There is lots of kindling in the forest around the cabin that would be great for your use.
Please check with me first to make sure there isn't a fire ban.

There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane). The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a table top to prepare your food. A headlamp is helpful as well as flip flops for the outdoor shower. We do have a few bugs different times of the day, a healthy bug repellant is helpful. ( not needed until summer of course :))
There is only one parking space, if you need to bring two cars please let me know ahead of time.
There is only room for two people at the cabin.

If you’re bringing a pet please ask before booking. All dogs must stay on a leash and be very minimal barking dogs. There is an additional $35 nonrefundable pet fee. If you have two dogs the fee is $55.

Also please note that even though you can't see neighbors here they are nearby, along with other guests in the other cabins that we have here. ( they are not close to this cabin).
Sound does travel here so please no music and no loud voices. We consider this to be a quiet sanctuary and retreat.

- "Just what the dr ordered!!" - "Adorable little cabin tucked up in the forest. Very quiet in terms of people or traffic but the amazing sounds of nature were all around. We got lucky enough to stay during part of a storm and it was so rad. The rain and thunder through the mountains is such a cool sound. Then once the storm based the birds sang to us. When it was night we still had a nice gentle sound of the stream nearby. The cabin is a real log cabin and is awesome. Showering in the back with the trees as your view is also awesome. The water gets hot right away and stays hot so we never got cold. There’s a really nice cooking area in the back that’s completely stocked with anything you need to cook with. We didn’t get a chance to use any of it this trip. We did use the fire pit which was nice in the evening. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to just get away and stay in nature. Everything was very enjoyable and the drive up is also just as beautiful. Thanks for creating and sharing this beautiful place. Hope to stay here again in the future."

Our family is now sharing, for only a few weeks per year, our cabin on Idaho's Crown Jewel, Priest Lake. The location offers the best view with the magnificent Chimney Rock and adjacent peaks poking up at 7000+ ft. on the Selkirk Crest. Miles of open, undeveloped shoreline is in view across the lake, with a wetland at the Bear Creek outlet that is frequented by moose and bald eagles. Situated in the Kaniksu National Forest, you are surrounded by majestic mountains, thick forests of multiple species of trees, including groves of ancient cedars; crystal clear water, tree-scented fresh air, and abundant wildlife. If you have never been to this area, you're in for a treat, especially if you enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of it all.
Your knotty-pine cabin is in a prime spot about halfway up the lake on the west side with easy access. Facing east, your cabin is protected by the blazing afternoon sun, while the beach and dock remain sunny until late in the afternoon. In the evening, watch the sunset illuminating Chimney Rock and Mt. Roothaan (7235'). Cool nights then lower the temperature in your cabin quite nicely. Take your coffee out on the deck, dock, or screened porch and take in the morning sun.
Great for swimming. No steep inclines or drop-offs here. There is a gradual slope to the water 30' from your new deck, continuing to the end of the dock where the depth is, give or take 4'. The water is very refreshing and is clear enough that you can always see your toes while treading water! The lake bottom is usually visible at a depth of around 15 feet.
Your clean and comfortable two-bedroom cabin includes: one full bed, two twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. An additional mattress pad will be included. Someone in your group will get to wake up every morning to the inviting sound of the water lapping on shore just a few feet away. All linens, towels, pillows, and extra blankets are provided.
The kitchen is grocery ready, and you can observe the beautiful lake and mountains while cooking and dining at the kitchen table. A gas barbecue is ready to fire up on the deck.

Unlike a lot of other lakes around the northwest, most of the best areas to recreate on Priest Lake are open for the public to enjoy. Explore! Bring your boat. Venture south to enjoy some of the great resorts, putt around mostly public Baritoe and Kalispell Islands in your boat, go to the museum at Luby Bay, or take a trip to the town of Coolin and visit the Leonard Paul Store. Go north to check out some of the secluded bays and enjoy the many inviting beaches. Wet your fishing lines and troll for Kokanee or Mackinaw (lake trout) around the twin islands. Everyone needs to experience the taste of fresh, land-locked sockeye salmon (Kokanee). They are delicious. Two- or three-pound Macks can also be so very tasty, more so if prepared properly.
Make it a day trip boating to the undeveloped (aside from a few primitive campsites and hiking trails) Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area. There is a fairly good chance you will see a moose or three wading about in the three-mile thorofare to the upper lake. Stay slow and give them lots of space please. You can also drive to the head of the main lake to the trail head at Beaver Creek and walk the western shore.
Hiking trails around the lake are numerous, and range from leisurely walks along the western shore, to more challenging mountain hikes that offer unbelievable panoramic views. Camera-up if you can.
Kayak (not included) or float Granite Creek, located a block or so north of your cabin.
Boat or not, there are many more things to see and do at Priest Lake that are not mentioned here. Did I say huckleberries? Water Frisbee? Sailboarding? (unfortunately, board not included). More information is available at the cabin, the Priest Lake Ranger Station (about 7 miles south), and the Priest Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Free 2-can garbage service per week. Please leave cans in the shed.

The water at the cabin has been tested and is safe to drink, but it is high in iron content affecting the taste. We include 6 gallons of complementary drinking water for our guests.

Cell service at the cabin seems to only work with certain carriers. Folks that have Verizon have no problem, but AT&T and Consumer Cellular do not function at the cabin. Reception can be had if you drive towards Elkins Resort, which is about a mile away or less.

If desired, we will leave you a Pelican peddle boat for your use.

"Cabin in the cedars" invites you to slow down from the busy life!
Have a cup of tea or coffee, read a book or just look out the big window into the trees.
Take a short stroll on the path that leads to the water or go for a longer walk to the big lake/park. You might just see Bald Eagles, osprey, turkeys or waterfowl. Many small birds also call our place their home. You may be lucky enough to meet or hear other North Idaho wildlife on our property; Mister Moose occassionally comes for a visit, too.
On warmer days you can sit outside on the covered porch or have lunch on the picnic table. Grab a blanket if you get cold!
Choose between sleeping in the cozy loft (low ceiling) or downstairs. If you pick the cozy loft, you must be able to climb steep stairs/ladder. There you will find two twin XL size mattresses--> feel free to move them together to make it a king size bed. If you prefer to sleep downstairs, you can pick the trundle or day bed. All 4 beds are memory foam. The living room and sleeping areas are open space concept, so you won't find a bedroom door ;) .
The water in the shower is temperamental
Due to limited power to the cabin, there is a tankless water heater which might not always keep up with the water pressure in the shower. The lower pressure you will use, the warmer it will be.
Our guest cabin is cozy, simple and compact. Take its size (+/-350sqft) in consideration when booking.-->most pictures are taken with fish eye lense. Note that it appears bigger.
The cabin is perfect for 2 people and ok for up to 4 guests. It can get tight if you travel with a lot of luggage and/or winter gear.
There is a small kitchen with a countertop double burner, coffee maker, toaster and a mini fridge. There is no oven.
To save you a trip to the store on the first day, complimentary pantry items are provided to get you started for a simple pancake or waffle breakfast with coffee or tea and if available, farm fresh eggs from our chickens.
To stay warm, the cabin has a cadet heater and a pellet stove for the colder nights.

A two person hot tub is just steps away from the front deck. It's for the ones that want to quietly watch the night sky.
A well maintained road (even in the winter) that winds up the mountain. 30 minutes to Sandpoint and 31 miles to Schweitzer Mountain, 55min to Coeur d'Alene. It's only one mile to a beautiful non-motorized lake for fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking.
We do have a young 40 pound dog here. She is off leash and loves people and their dogs. She will most likely be the first to greet you! She is still in training, and very curious and friendly.

This is a property for the quieter people who want to tune into nature, it's not a party place, it's a non-smoking and drug free. It's a quiet sanctuary.

As our guest you have the use of one of two restored, duplexed, logging cabins. Each sunny, one room cabin is comfortably restored for one or two occupants. Minimal to no sound between attached cabins. Along with your cabin you have reserved, the open spaces, patio, fire pit and the bountiful forested grounds. Base camp cabins, include, queen bed, a single bunk and couch, a desk, well lighted, sitting room with folding tables trays. Full kitchen and full bathroom with deep soaking tub. Guest has full private access to their rented unit with one parking space, the open grounds and forest trails. There is a fully equipped art studio and many year round art workshops are available as well as private lessons and guidance for an added fee. Use of art studio for personal projects is negotiable with resident artists.y

The MOOSE room is a private room on the main floor at Keystone Mountain Retreat. Guests enjoy 20 acres of forest accented with stunning wildlife murals, waterfalls & pond, picnic area with fire pit, garden beds created by stone artisan/owner of Keystone Masonry just a few miles north of Sandpoint. The space
This main floor bedroom is named in honor of the moose that have enjoyed relaxing in the pond and around the double waterfall. They may roam the perimeter of the yard, stripping leaves from certain favorite trees. There is even a set of mini moose antlers, found on the property (ask for details, its quite the story). The windows overlook the raised garden beds, raspberry patch, plus moose & bear murals. Peek out the windows frequently, as we never know what wildlife show will be there!

You'll enjoy a peaceful night's rest with the cushy memory foam topper atop the queen mattress which gives the bed a snuggly feel with nice support.

Stay on 20 acres surrounded by nature and wildlife at Keystone Mountain Retreat. Follow the path to a hidden picnic area and stone fire pit, then continue on to see the view and massive boulders. Relax on one of the benches. If you are fortunate, you might spy a deer, moose, eagles, wild turkeys, Canadian geese or snowshoe hare in the yard, at the overlook, or as you round the corner. Watch for amazing stone wildlife murals as you go. Lucious raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries might be ready for eating from June to August. The coming of snow transforms this area into a winter wonderland. Big fluffy flakes flock the towering pines like something out of a postcard.

The best times for wildlife viewing are during early morning walks. Take in the tranquility of a stroll around the loop driveway or lounge in one of the comfortable benches at the overlook. On a clear day you can see the Seven Sisters of the Selkirk mountain range to the northwest.

The living room, kitchen, and grounds are shared with the hosts. An airbed can be set up in the living room for an extra charge of $20 per night.

The Jeru Cabin is one of two Chalets at Twin Brook Chalets. Nestled up high above the Upper Pack River and Jeru Creek. Please be aware that the Jeru Cabin at Twin Brook Chalets is located uphill, making access a key consideration for your stay. We recommend a vehicle with SUV, all-wheel drive, or four-wheel drive for the best experience, as standard cars may struggle with the terrain. No car has ever been unsuccessful in getting to the property.

Rest assured, we have just purchased a dozer, and our driveway is always in great shape now, ensuring a smooth journey to your serene retreat. Enjoy your off-grid adventure with ease!

Your beautifully comfortable one room off grid cabin, begins with a scenic, steep 1/4 mile heart pumping hike to the cabin(10 to 20 min). You can then relax on the deck that overlooks the Pack River Valley as you sip cool water from our 250 foot well. It offers off grid solar power for lights, sell phones, tablets, laptops and small devices, a propane refrigerator, stove, barbecue and hot running water. (no hair dryers as the solar power cannot handle large heating elements)

The space
This cabin with it's beautiful views offers "a get back to the simple life" off grid opportunity to unplug from the digital world and plug into nature. (No Wi-Fi, cell service is still mostly available) It is only a few miles from multiple Forest Service trail heads and the beautiful Pack River. One could also hike in back of the cabin for miles and more mountain views.

You can cook or barbecue your own meals in the fully functional cabin kitchen or get a delicious meal at our local Blue Heron Café just 3 miles away. Amazing drinking water from our 250 foot well is provided.

Guest access
Guests will drive to and park in the host parking area. They then will walk a heart pumping quarter-mile up a STEEP hill to their amazing cabin.

If you're looking for the ultimate getaway to unplug, this is your spot. Time to be with nature, take a hike, paint a picture, read a book or write one. No TV, desk top computers, CPAP machines (per inverter recommendations unless you have one that runs on its own battery)A beautiful 1/4 mile STEEP hike up a mountain to get there and well worth it when you arrive. Since you will be walking up a long hill to get to the cabin, we suggest arriving before sundown. Be sure to bring a flashlight in addition to the one on your phone (headlamps are a good idea because they allow you to be hands-free) backpack and shoes that are good for hiking.

The space
Updated cabin on beautiful 5-acre treed lot with large deck and firepit comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and pull out couch. The space also includes fully equipped kitchen, one full bath, flat screen TV (located in the loft), and wifi. While there is a wood stove in the living room, it is not currently available for guest use. Heat and air conditioning is provided via ductless system that guests can set at their comfort level. Well maintained roads provide easy access year round!

RV space with full hook ups available for additional fee of $65 per night

Basic kitchen essentials are provided-salt, pepper, oil, spice rack, and a few coffee pods and tea options to get you through the first morning.

Guest access
Guests will receive a door code, unit details, and check-in instructions a couple of days prior to check-in. Use your code to unlock the Smart Lock mechanism on your cabin's door. While hosts do not live on site, we are available to help any time; we’re just a phone call or message away.

*Please note, while the cabin has a Spirit Lake address, it is closer to Athol (8 min) than downtown Spirit Lake, which is about 15 minutes west*

We love hosting dogs, so let us know if you plan to bring your furry friend(s) along and we'll send some extra info your way! Our pet fee is $85 and we can accommodate a maximum of two dogs (and DOGS ONLY at this time), but get in touch with us if you have a special circumstance. *Unfortunately, due to the amount of guests bringing unauthorized dogs, we will now be charging an additional $50 fee for guests who arrive with unapproved dogs*

In order to best fit everyone's needs, we have a put firmer bed in the upstairs loft and a softer bed in the downstairs bedroom

The stairs to the loft are metal and tend to be slippery when wearing socks! Please use caution, and the handrail, to ensure your safety!

While we made our cabin as comfortable as possible, we still are located in a wooded area and want to remind our guests of the possibility of rustic experiences. That can mean hot summers, drafty winters, unpredicatiable weather, and/or the occasional four-to-eight-legged friend around the property. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Blue Heron Cabin sits on a 291 acre wildlife preserve. It has an active Great Blue Heron rookery on site, a Bald Eagle nest and a huge variety of waterfowl and wildlife. Easy access off Hwy 2. Private 35-acre lake for fishing and kayaking on site. Two kayaks with life jackets. Boat & trailer parking at cabin. Public boat launch into Pend Oreille River directly across the street; public beach and playground. Children welcome. Books & toys. 55" TV.

The space
There are two queen beds and one queen hide-a-bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, dishes and utensils, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, crock pot, hand mixer, food processor, coffee, tea and cocoa. Starlink Satellite Internet is available, with an HDMI cable to connect your laptop to the TV. Guests can watch their streaming internet services or watch movies on YouTube. Guests can cook over an open fire in the back yard.

There is a gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator, washer & dryer. Binoculars are provided for wildlife watching. The Priest River Recreation Area is directly across the street with public beach, playground, picnic tables, boat launch, and trailer parking.
Guests can swim at the public beach, watch wildlife, photograph wildlife, or launch their boat into the Pend Oreille River, which is directly connected to Lake Pend Oreille. Boat and trailer can be parked at this cabin. In addition, the cabin has a private 35 acre lake with lots of fish. Kayaks are for use in this lake. An adjacent public lake with boat launch is stocked by Idaho Fish & Game.

Guest access
The entire cabin is included in a private space. Guests may come and go as they please. There is plenty of parking space next to the cabin for boats and trailers.

Other things to note
The wildlife preserve has a herd of white tail deer, frequent elk presence, occasional moose presence. In 24 years and thousands of hours out in the preserve photographing wildlife, we have never been confronted with a wild animal; but they are out there. Keep a safe distance from wild animals if you see them. Guests are responsible to use good judgment and be responsible for their own safety.

Welcome to the Edelweiss Chalet! Enjoy the charm of our centrally located 950 square foot chalet at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Road and 4 miles from downtown Sandpoint. Whether you are planning to hit the slopes at Schweitzer or play in beautiful Lake Pend Orielle at the City Beach Park, you will love staying at the Edelweiss in comfort and style.

A maximum of 4 adults and 2 children is recommended with 6 guests total maximum.

The space
As you walk in the front door you enter in our light and quaint chalet with cathedral ceilings and an open air concept kitchen, dining and living room. The main floor has one bedroom with a full size bed and a 3/4 bath with shower. The living room sofa has a comfortable memory foam queen size pull out bed with a cozy gas fireplace to warm up next to on Winter nights. Entering in the side door of the chalet there is a great space to put on shoes and coats as well as store skis and boots. The entire upstairs loft is the master suite with a queen size bed and an on-suite bathroom with a tub. The front deck has a conversation patio set with a gas BBQ grill to enjoy some outdoor cooking and dining. The back of the chalet has a gas fire table with 4 Adirondack chairs to enjoy Summer and Fall evenings. There is also a patio dining table and 6
chairs. The 6 person private hot tub is located just outside the side door with a privacy fence and string lights. Perfect for an apres ski soak. Enjoy!

The chalet is located on the corner of busy Schweitzer Mountain Road and there is also a train track nearby. So can be noisy with car and train traffic while outside.

The chalet has a paved driveway right in front for two cars.

Other things to note
Snow removal will take place on an as needed basis. We have a person that comes by to clear the driveway. It is up to the guest to shovel the hot tub area and front entrance.

Cabin in the Meadow is a newly constructed quaint & secluded custom built cabin; hand crafted with love & timber off of our own land, where rustic primitive and modern technology meet. Tucked away overlooking the meadow and surrounded by fir trees, it’s the perfect little getaway.

We specifically designed our cabin for the comfort of two adult guests.
For safety reasons, we have a no young child/toddler policy, infants & children over the age of 12 welcome.
Effortless check in and check out, we do not require our guests to follow any rules upon departure.

Upon arrival, you will find a book we created of informative tips and some of our favorite places to dine and explore to help you enjoy all Sandpoint has to offer.

Special Seasonal Notes: Fireplace: During the summer months we turn off the fireplace pilot light, if you desire to use the fireplace please let us know and we will be happy to relight it for you.

Driveway: During the winter months the steep driveway to cabin is well maintained, plowed & sanded. However, we highly recommend AWD vehicles.

Come to historic Sandpoint, Idaho and enjoy our adorable Cabin located a mere 1.5 miles from downtown and walking distance to Talus Rock Retreat.

In downtown Sandpoint you can peruse local shops, coffee houses, the Panida Theater, amazing restaurants, City Beach and the clear waters of Lake Pend Oreille.

A scenic 30 minute drive will take you to Schweitzer Mountain Village, where there is everything from bluegrass festivals to huckleberry picking in the summer and world-class skiing in the winter.

The Festival at Sandpoint's Concert Series in late July through early August is an annual event not to be missed!

There are endless opportunities to sight-see, bike, boat, paddle board, kayak, swim, raft, hike, sail, ski, snowboard, snowshoe or just relax in our picturesque town.

We have uniquely decorated this cabin so that you feel warm & welcomed, and rest assured that cleanliness is of utmost importance.

Chances are good that you will see Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer, if you’re lucky a Moose and/or Black Bear may pass though. Please do not approach the wildlife.

Surveillance cameras are in place at the driveway entrance and on the parking spaces only.

We live onsite and are close enough to accommodate you quickly if there's anything you need, but far enough away you won’t be disturbed.

This stunning Cabin was meticulously hand built by the owner over 12 years. Every aspect of this home is unique from the handmade light fixtures, indoor outdoor furniture, bathtub, kitchen cabinets, decks and outdoor shower! Located 30 minutes east of Sandpoint which was recently voted by USA Today as "The Most Beautiful Small Town in America".
Located on a private 5 acre property you will enjoy a fire pit perfect for evening gatherings and outdoor shower with hot water. Have kiddo's or adults that want to experience camping? There are 2 tent sites with running water as well.

The sandy beach of Sam Owen Park is less than a mile away. Sam Owen provides a fantastic spot for swimming, hiking, boating, canoeing and wild life viewing.
Looking for dining? Pearls is waterfront dining at it’s best. The restaurant at Beyond Hope offers lakeside dining like no other place on the lake. Dine indoors next to the fireplace or wander onto the deck on those balmy evenings and enjoy a cocktail, appetizers and a delicious dinner in the glow of the lake sunset. The scenery is unbeatable!

Schweitzer Mountain is a half hour drive. Beautiful British Colombia is 58 miles to the North. Montana is a fifteen minute drive to the East. Glacier National Park is 3 hours and 45 minutes away. Ross Cedar's is a little over an hour.

The Grounds:
Champagne Sunsets is a small cabin with 1 bedroom and 1 loft. The cabin & deck have expansive views of the town, lake, & mtns, you can see City Beach and Schweitzer Mountain. Children 9 & older are welcome. Set on 250 ft. of waterfront and 1.2 acres, this is a rustic and wild property that is set on a STEEP driveway and a STEEP path down to the dock. Please be advised that 4WD or All-wheel drive are required for the driveway or you can park at the top and carry your luggage down to the cabin. The dock is just 150ft below the cabin, but once again it is STEEP and an unimproved trail without hand rails. For instance, we have to help our own parents down the path.

*BEDROOMS & BATH*
Champagne Sunsets has 1 full bedroom and 1 loft. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, dresser, and closet with hangars.
The loft has 1 King bed on low platform & 1 twin mattress on the loft floor. The ladder to the loft is steep and not recommended for anyone with limited mobility or anyone afraid of heights. Please see picture and/or ask me questions. Not all adults would like the loft and we only allow children ages 9 and over at this cabin.

The cabin has one bathroom, which features a shower. Feel free to utilize the blow dryer, single-use makeup wipes, dock towels, shampoo/conditioner, or any items found in the bathroom.

Primarily non-toxic and natural cleaning products are used at this cabin and
a minimum of synthetic fragrances are used. White cotton sheets and towels are washed using Zum or Molly’s Suds detergents. Floors and counters and shower - Branch Basics.
Hand soap - Grove.
Dishwasher tablets and dish liquid are the only cleaners that are not natural, as well as bleach or Lysol are sometimes used on only the toilet or sometimes a diluted bleach is added to the laundry whites.

Though it’s compact, the cabin feels bright and open thanks to its layout and panoramic windows. And while you won’t find modern bells and whistles, you will find peace, quiet, and a deep sense of place.

This home has just recently been remodeled with many beautiful touches. Living space is open and roomy. Kitchen has all brand new appliances with everything you will need to create warm and delightful meals.

Master bedroom has a queen bed with luxury bedding and a private bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with luxury bedding. Second bath is off the hall across from a full size washer and dryer. A Queen futon is located in the entry way for the 3rd sleeping area.

Note, our general policy is no pets, however, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

As you head up the long curving driveway into the forest, you will find plenty of free parking in our large parking lot that accommodates all our guests. There is also space for your summer and winter toys.

We are located off the US Route 95 in Sagle, ID. Nestled in the trees you will not realize that you're only 10 minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, 30 minutes from the Schweitzer Mountain Resort which offers amazing summer outdoor activities as well their legendary winter activities! And, just 30 minutes south is the Silverwood theme and water park.

Other things to note
Idaho offers lots of wildlife and amazing scenery to explore regardless of the time of year. And, as locals ourselves we can point you to some special places to explore and some of our favorite restaurants!

Come prepared for the weather in the season your are visiting. Snow and rain are prevalent in the winter months. Cozy slippers are encouraged.

You will need to park on the first level of the driveway and no higher. You will then walk a short distance up to the cabin. Boat trailers should not be brought to the cabin as there is no place to turn around or park. Boat trailers can be parked at the Garfield Bay Public Park.

This beautiful log cabin is situated in the Selkirk mountain range and has direct access to the Upper Pack River. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest, offering hiking, snowshoeing, fishing, ATV trails and snowmobiling. Just a short drive away is the wonderful ski resort of Schweitzer Mountain, the crystal clear waters of Lake Pend O'reille and the artsy town of Sandpoint.

Legacy Lodge sits on 2.5 acres with plenty of trees between the neighbors to ensure peace and quiet. Pride in ownership really comes through with this cabin, you will find the cabin itself as well as all furnishings in excellent condition and very well cared for. We are meticulous about our cleaning practices and our goal is to provide you with a clean and safe home-away-from-home. All t.v.'s come with Satellite, so bring your passwords for your favorite viewing channels. The kitchen is fully stocked, as are the bathrooms. It is our goal that you have no unmet needs while here and can truly relax and enjoy your time in the Pack River Valley.

This Riverside family home, has assorted shared and private spaces. Toys for inside (games) and outside. The space
RIVER ACCESS: This home has a sand-topped trail from home to beach, with a 200 foot sandy beach (plastic barrier 4 inches under sand). 55 foot trex-covered pier dock, with LEd-strip lighting and 110v dock plugins, with enough parking for 2-4 boats.The home is 1 mile south of Priest River and about 2 miles above Albeni Dam. The cove (250 front feet) is perfect for families to play on the water with safety and separation from the faster current of the river. There is enough room to relax, try out some new water toys without being in anyone's back yard. There is a beachside campfire (wood supplied by guests). There are multiple lounge areas just above the dock, with lounging chairs for parents to sunbathe while kids play on the dock. Families can use the kayaks, supyaks and paddleboards. There are 12 multiple-sized life vests on hand at the dock.

SAND: The trail to the river has been lined with 4 inches of sand to allow beach access from home to shore with bare feet! There is a plastic barrier under all sand that separates gravel and clay from sand. Please deter children and dogs from digging more than 4 inches to preserve the barrier keeping the sand pristine. Please be sure to rinse sand off at top of hill (outside shower) before entering home.

BOULDER WALLS: Please be aware of safety with boulder walls that line the hillside. There are thick rope and pole fences in place with lights for safety. Please take precaution with dogs and kids, as there are 8 foot drops in levels if the fencing does not deter adventurous ideas:)

DOCK USABILITY: The river level is at full summer pool July 4 through September 10. The river level recedes from Oct through May leaving the dock 12 foot suspended above a waterless beach. Use caution with dogs, and humans if using the dock while the river levels are low. Fishing and light boating are still doable through October.

HOME LAYOUT AND DESIGN: This home has been designed for multiple generations to enjoy each other, and enjoy the outdoor beauty. Although there are top technology upgrades for everyone, the theme of this home is to unplug and enjoy your family face-to-face. We designed this space for our own diversified family, with multiple interests, privacy needs, and varying physical abilities - from almost no mobility to athletic agility. We hope you enjoy your family and friends here in this catering space as much as we do!

SPACE OVERVIEW: This 2400 sq. foot home is a newly updated home. It has two living room areas with Smart TV's - one also a gaming room, 2 private bedrooms with King beds, 1 bunkbed room with 5 twins, 2.5 bathrooms, one laundry room, kitchen with bar and table seating (combined seating is 17), outside table seating for 10 (expandable) on a Cedar deck, multiple private seating and lounging areas, and a gas BBQ on the deck. The deck and front yard are both fully enclosed and gated for toddler and pet safety. Outside the gated areas are 4 different levels of patio lounging. One space is dedicated to a 4 foot firepit. Another space is dedicated to cushioned outdoor furniture overlooking the river.

SPACE DETAILS:
BEDROOM DETAILS: There are two king bedrooms, and one bunkroom. One King bedroom has a temperpedic hybrid bed, and one a Sealy Posturepedic pillow top). The master bedroom has a walkin shower with double sinks, and barn door closets. There is a reading/sitting area to enjoy some privacy. There is also an electric wall fireplace to bring some romance and warmth. The bunk bed room has one triple bunk and one double bunk with large closet and 2 dressers, with lots of plugins for the kids phones. The second King bedroom has a 180 degree of the Pend Oreille River.
There is a semi-private cushioned deck seating that this bedroom has access to. (We love early morning coffee watching the water before the family gets up). This room is called the "View Room" and all the walls are cedar.

KITCHEN DETAILS: The kitchen has a coffee grinder, basket-style drip coffee maker, with supplied coffee for 10 for one night, a crockpot (small one), an electric griddle, a blender, a toaster, an ice cream maker, a microwave popcorn bowl, a mixer, various bowls, casserole dishes, pots and pans, margarita glasses, and wine glasses (both breakable for indoors and non-breakable for outdoors). There are two rolls of paper towels supplied. The fridge is a 30 inch french door style with ice maker on bottom. For high ice needs, ice bags will need to be bought. The additional fridge (the beer fridge) is in the garage.

BBQ: The outside deck has a 4 burner gas stove with backup propane bottle in the garage. BBQ utensils are supplied.

FIREPITS: The upper wood firepit has seating for 12. There are some roasting sticks for smores near the pit. We DO NOT supply firewood or matches. Firewood bundles can be bought at any local gas station or grocery store. Please do not move the firepit from its location. The beachside firepit seats 8.

OUTSIDE DINING AND DRINKING: Please use supplied plastic cups and plates for outside drinking and eating. No glass outside for everyone's safety.

BEACH FURNITURE: There are 4 sunbathing lounge chairs at the beach and 8 to 10 chairs with several small tables for drinks. There are plug ins at the dock and beach area as well as a dock light (base of dock at beach). The home Wifi is also accessible at the beach below.

BEACH TOWELS: We provide 7 beach towels that are in the blue sitting chair next to the sliding glass doors.

DOG AND MUD TOWELS: We provide brown (to match the clay staining) towels located in the covered metal pot by the outdoor shower for dog dryoff and muddy feet dryoff:)

WINTERTIME RIVER CAUTIONS: The river recedes from the dock by many feet and can grow thick chunks of ice on the bank. Use caution with dogs on ice and a fast-moving current under the ice. Keep a close eye on dogs and kids that are unfamiliar with the dangers of ice. Bring mud boots for fall, winter, and spring bank walking as the clay and mud are fun for walking, but dirty!

There is an electronic smart lock that is accessed through a 4 digit code available after booking. The physical lockbox is a backup for emergency only that requires a phone call or in person owner visit to access.

Other things to note
The closest neighbor shares a driveway with the River home guests (about 300 feet away). The neighbors are avid shooters and practice shooting on their hillside regularly.

Petiquette rules: You are responsible for your pet’s behavior. Please respect the homes good care and the neighbor's right to peace and quiet. Pet disclosure is the responsibility of the guest prior to your stay.
1. Pets that are not house potty-trained are not welcome. If accidents happen, please clean it up and alert us for further allergen cleaning requirements.
2. Pick up all droppings from your pet and dispose in plastic tied bags in exterior garbage can. Do not bury dog poop.
3. Do not let your dog use the floors, doors, or couches to communicate potty or anxiety issues. Dogs that scratch the doors for potty needs are not welcome. Do not let your dog scratch up the floors or furniture even if they are excited.
4. Never leave your dog unattended, and unkenneled in the home.
5. You are welcome to leave your dog kenneled in the home, not the garage (as barking dogs annoy the neighbors near the garage). Dogs that nuisance bark will be asked to leave, without refunds.
6. If you dog sleeps on the comforter, you are required to wash and dry the comforter BEFORE you check out.
7. Dogs must be under owner control at all times (not visiting neighbors).
8. Dogs must be friendly and well-behaved to stay. Dogs that are aggressive or threatening to the neighbors, must leave immediately and permanently without refunds.


This property has a septic tank. Making sure only toilet paper goes down the toilet, nor grease down the sink, is important. There are notes at each bathroom, and at the sink to remind everyone to use care with this private sewer system. Any conserving of water and sewer use is appreciated to maintain the sewer system.

This cabin is in an easy to access spot, 15 minutes south of Sandpoint on a paved road. A public boat launch is three houses away and our property has a private dock.

The home contains a queen sized Murphy bed in a non-traditional space in addition to the two traditional bedrooms. The Murphy queen is in the back entry/laundry room area. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably with these options.

Our cabin was built by one of three Spokane Fireman friends, each of whom built their own cabin, back in the 1940's. It’s told that they each paid $500 per lot! Over the years there have been modifications and updates to each of these three homes, but if you look closely, you may be able to see that they were once nearly identical to each other.

The home to numerous animals from small weasel family to the mighty grizzly bear, the majestic elk, and the bald eagle. Act as a good guest and you'll often be rewarded with the opportunity to view these creatures.

NORDIC SPORTS
Nordic Sports have recently emerged as one of the fastest growing winter recreation activities at Priest Lake. Excellent facilities are provided at little or no cost, add the beauty of Priest Lake and this adventure can't be beat.

Priest River meanders along a 44-mile course from Priest Lake to Priest River and the Pend d' Orielle River. Experience the power and beauty of a river flowing through incredible scenery.

ROCK CLIMBING
If rock climbing is the name of your game, Priest Lake offers a wide range of climbing sites to challenge the novice as well as seasoned veteran climbers.

HUNTING
Priest Lake is home to numerous species of coveted game animals. Whitetail and mule deer share our forests with an increasing herd of magnificent elk, monster moose and a large population of black bear.

SWIMMING
With over 70 miles of shoreline, much of which is public lands, Priest Lake offers a wide variety of swimming and beach recreation opportunities.

Beach and dock are shared with adjacent cabin. That we have available for rent as well

Other things to note
One tent is allowed on the property either in the shared beach area directly in front of the cabin or on the pad directly behind the cabin. Please no tents in the wooded area behind the cabin. Also, there is space for two cars to park at the cabin possibly three however the two spaces near the large cabin have to be left for the guests at that property. Additionally we do not have enough space to allow trailers on the property. Thank you for understanding!

The space
Welcome to our fabulous lakefront location. Thank you for checking out our listing. Hike, boat, pick huckleberries and enjoy nature without close neighbors for a refreshing get-a-way.

CABIN DESCRIPTION: Moderately rustic cabin with a large deck. Neighbors are approximately 100 ft. and 250 ft. away.

YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE: The cabin sleeps 6 with a queen, pillow-top bed in the bedroom and bunk bed and double futon in the living room. Deck is used primarily as an outdoor living room.

INDOOR AMENITIES: Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, water purifier (in kitchen only), stacking full-size washer/dryer (bathroom), wood stove, water heater, NOAA weather radio and central vac.

Premium bedding, blankets and bath towels are provided. Soft waterproof bed pads are underneath each mattress pad to ensure mattress stays clean.

Water to the cabin comes directly from the lake. A kitchen water purifier is located next to the sink. Some people use the cabin water filter. Others prefer to bring their own bottled water.

Storage is at a premium. Remember to pack cards or any games. GUESTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN BEACH TOWELS.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: 400 sq. ft. deck, picnic table, chairs, clothesline and nice gas barbecue.

LAKESIDE AMENITIES: dock, chairs, beach, fire pit and beach picnic table. Beautiful north/south view of the lake and Selkirk Mountains.

HOW CLOSE ARE WE? Two restaurants, two small grocery stores and a latte stand within 5 - 10 miles.

THE FINE PRINT: Although I'm not using instant book, I do provide a fast response time. The reason instant book is not used:

1. This IS NOT a party location.
2. The cabin is IDEAL for a small family and a great peaceful getaway.
3. This location is NOT a campground.
4. The cabin sleeps 6 guests with no kids in an outside tent allowed.


THE FINER PRINT: The cabin is not a replica of your home with all the latest upgrades. This is a cabin in the mountains.

We are not responsible for circumstances out of our control such as smoke from summer fires blowing into our region, utility outages, wildfire or other circumstances unique to our area.

After a storm, which occasionally happens, the power may go out. The power company is very responsive and works to solve the problem. Power to the cabin can not be guaranteed 100% of the time.

Wi-Fi and television reception is not guaranteed to always be available for your use.

Also, if the posted fire danger level is concerning to the host, the guest will be asked not to use the lakeside fire pit. Fire danger changes each year with the fire season.

A few spices, non-stick cooking spray, bath towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit, toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies are provided.

Please bring your own paper plates. napkins, games and beach towels.

Sandpoint, Idaho is an hour from the cabin. Silverwood Theme Park is also in the area.

Boating to upper Priest is a highlight for any visitor. Many guests have enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock.
