- "What a lovely B&B! Though a bit outside of Golden, this lodge is huge with extremely spacious rooms, a very friendly host, a calm surrounding, and great breakfast. Please note though that you need to be able to go up and down stairs with your stuff as the entrance is up a spiral staircase and the lodge is a split level design. This want a problem for us but something to note if it's important to you. Also, the final part of the drive is up a gravel road so be aware of this is a challenge for your car. The Lodge is remote and surrounded by mountains and first, with multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. The sheets on the king beds are so luxurious and soft I didn't want to get out of bed. Our room even had a spacious seating area, a separate room with a pull out sofa bed, a large walk-out balcony, and double sinks. Breakfast was generous and homey and you get nice conversation with the owner who is a sweet lady with lots of stories. There is a dog on the premise who has a mighty bark but is friendly, so be aware as he may give you a little shock if you're not aware. Overall, we'd definitely stay again."

The River House is a secluded cabin nestled between the Purcell Mountains and the Blaeberry River.

The River House is a two bedroom cabin, which sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. It has a full kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, t.v blue-ray, internet and laundry facilities.

The River House is located on 8 acres of wooded land and is the only rental cabin on the property. The other house on the property is ours. You can wake up every morning and while eating breakfast watch a pair of bald eagles fish from the Blaeberry River. In the evenings watch a herd of elk drink from the river all while never having to leave the comfort of the River House.

The River House boasts peace and quiet, but for those that are looking for adventure, the House also includes the use of the 'shed'. In the shed there is a place to store and clean your equipment, which includes skis, bikes, sleds, ATVs, and all other equipment you may bring with you.

The location, views, fresh air and ruralness of our property lend for a relaxing stay. Our small log cottage, adjacent to the main house, is a perfect retreat to unwind from a busy day of outdoor activities or a break from mainstream life.

The accommodation is close (walking distance) to biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails and is only 16kms from the base gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

The cottage is all open plan and fully appointed to suit self-catering guests wishing to spend more than a couple of days in and around Revelstoke.

The whole interior of the cottage is beautifully finished in a mixture of pine, cedar and hemlock. Upstairs is well lit by windows on each of the 4 gables and comprises a queen sized bed, (plus a single and a roll-away bed by request).

- "Visited with friends and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, private, and modern with rustic touches. There’s a few good amenities nearby for grocery shopping, dining out, and renting water toys or e-bikes. I was surprised to realize that the cabin wasn’t right on the water; the listing photos make it seem like it is. Instead, you have to walk down the rather steep driveway, through another front yard, and across a busy road to get to the water. The driveway is very steep; we are all able-bodied and in decent shape but struggled to walk up it every single time we wanted to walk somewhere and back. The entry for the private beach also isn’t clearly marked, and it took a bit for us to figure out where we were supposed to go. I have never been to the shuswaps before, so I didn’t know there were so few homes directly on the beach. Once we had it all figured out, we were quite happy, but there was a bit of initial disappointment. Regardless, I would most likely return here again or possibly try to rent the other cabin on the property at the bottom of the hill. Thank you for hosting us for a much needed relaxing vacation!"

We are located on Mnt 7 in a rural subdivision. The newly built Cabins (Blue Spruce & White Pine) are a warm space to stay & relax. Our kitchenette is fully stocked with most of the essentials (No stove or oven) along with a bbq on the deck. There is a full shower in the spacious bathroom & a fireplace in the living area. We have a separate entrance, ample parking and paved road to the property for your convenience.

We are located on Mnt 7 so the trails are accessible from our doorstep. You can Mountain bike, hike & even enjoy some mountain climbing terrain.

Located between Salmon Arm and Enderby our modern yet cozy Post and Beam Suite is the perfect getaway. Surrounded by nature you can relax and recharge. Enjoy the outdoors with lots of things to do in the area and visit our farm animals.

Our 600 sf open concept furnished studio has large panorama windows, and a well equipped kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals. We also offer complementary coffee and tea. It is great for families, solo travellers and couples.

The space
My husband Jens and I have built the guesthouse ourselves from lumber we cut down on the property. Jens is a woodworker and this was one of his dream projects.

The Suite is located above our carport about 50 meters from the Main House. It has its private entrance. We can accommodate up to 4 adults.

Guest access
Our guests a very welcome to see the rabbits, highland cows, sheep and chickens on the farm. While we ask our guest to not enter the enclosure the rabbits love apples, salad or carrots if you would like to feed them.

Other things to note
We have parking available right next to the guesthouse, however during winter we also have a parking spot at the bottom of our driveway in case you don't have an all wheel drive vehicle. It is a short walk up to the guesthouse.

Due to snow pack and increased moisture during winter the BBQ is only available during spring, summer and fall.

Our guesthouse is pet free. Please do not let our cats or dogs inside the guesthouse.

A converted rustic barn with two box stall bedrooms, kitchenette (no stove), and a full bathroom. The barn doors open completely to the outdoors, which adds character to the spacious living area (and sometimes a bit of dust and hay!) Enjoy the charm of the rural setting - just 20 minutes from Kelowna. Enjoy hiking, quad trails, outdoor BBQing and walking the mini horses. Use of the yard to BBQ and lots of places to walk . The front of the Barn can be opened up like a covered living room in bad weather also has a futon for extra guest to sleep at $20 per person and a bed but the entrance is not heated and can be opened to the out side . I also offer classes in wire wrapping ,Bark carving faces and water color painting for $25.

. the fire on Philpott 4 year ago and the first 2 k of Philpott is burned so limited hiking in that area .there I a lake 17k from here and other a lot of hiking around .

Beaver Lake Homestead provides the perfect setting for guests to enjoy Mother Nature and only a 25 minute drive from Highway 5. Set in 160 acres of forest 20km south of Clearwater, adjoining the Dunn Peak Protected Area, the homestead has three rustic log cabins available for rent. Cedar Cabin sleeps 4.

The space
The Cedar Cabin is one of three rustic log cabins available at Beaver Lake Homestead, 20 kms south of Clearwater BC. The cabin sleeps four people and has a double bed, twin bunk beds, equipped kitchenette, dining area and shower room with hot running water. A BBQ and outside seating is also provided for each cabin, along with a shared fire-pit. Accommodation includes bed linens and towels. Please bring any groceries you need for your stay. There is no internet, cell service, TV or phone in the cabins.

In addition to the cabin area, guests can also access the forest on the property and take a hike into Dunn Peak Wilderness Park.

Other things to note
The homestead provides an ideal location for the Taylors to raise their small herd of Dexter cows, a flock of chickens and colony of bees.
