Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for making fun memories. Enjoy the beautiful nature of the great outdoors, kayak in the lake, catch some trout, roast a marshmallow, walk, hike, ATV, dirt bike or enjoy a book lounging outside or curled up at the fireplace. This is a beautiful family cabin with all the modern touches but located nestled away in the forest near Face Lake. You can curl up by the wood burning fireplace or sit on the wrapped around porch enjoying the forest view with a warm cup of coffee. There are so many family games to play you won’t be able to decide. The outdoors are beautiful sitting by a campfire or down at the lake (250m down the wide open trail downhill). The lake is stocked so fishing is amazing and when frozen you can skate and play hockey. ATV/dirt bike trails are right out the door. The stars are so bright at night it’s just brilliant.

I really enjoyed sitting on the veranda and reading, watching the birds in the trees and the fish in the pond. Vey peaceful!" - "We loved being able to bring our kids back to the place where we got married. The cabin was in great shape and clean. The beds sooo comfy! The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans etc which made making meals easy. The communication with the owners was great. We also were notified of changing weather situations in a timely manner by the people at the resort. My kids are 2 and 4 and there was lots for them to do, including a little playground for them. - "Sun Peaks is the place. Burfield is the chair 32 is the house. Thanks" - "I recently stayed at this chalet for 1 week in February to ski Sun Peaks. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Being so close to the Burfield chair base is a unique ski-in/out experience. The area around the Burfield chair was one of the first parts of Todd mountain to be developed. Its history is evident inside the chalet with ski memorabilia and maps that pay homage to Sun Peaks' chronology. The trade-off for being so close to the hill is that no direct road or parking lot access can be challenging. The only way to get to the chalet is to walk down snow-covered paths that are not maintained; expect a slip or two (Guests with mobility issues should be aware). Those looking to be close to the village and any apres events, dinners, or shops should be mindful that the walk is a good 25+ minutes. Shuttles stop after 9:30pm, and their daily schedule could be more reliable. This chalet is ideal for those looking to be in a more secluded area of the hill. The chalet itself was in excellent condition and you could tell it was well taken care of by the family and previous guests. Some of the appliances are dated, but the house was fully stocked with cutlery and cookware. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, with fresh sheets and towels in the closets. The hosts also left some common spices in the cupboards, which we replaced before departure. Overall I would recommend this chalet to others and hope to return one day. Many thanks to Jackie and Sandy for the wonderful week."

- "We were a group of friends who rented two cabins. This was a perfect getaway for us and a nice alternative to camping. Everything was clean when we arrived, had all the amenities and close to the lake. All in all I recommend. " - "Simple, clean 1/2 cabin in tranquil location. Well equipped kitchen. Wifi is very weak and fan didn’t work. Loft can get quite hot even with baseboards off." - "In general - everything was good. Super nice location, quiet, far from noisy roads. And even the pool and rec center were closed we had a goo time around. They cleaned up some area on the lake ice, have some hockey equipment, and it was lit on nights. You can use a firepit by the lake too. The cabin is fully equipped with a small kitchen, so bring just food and mayby - some drinking water. Their tap water is not the best i would say. But its expected. The note to the property management - check some furniture in the cabin 29. The dinner chairs are either broken or about to. Absolutely not safe to sit on it. Otherwise - we are happy with our stay"

- "Temps were below zero F and even with thermostat at full heat, we had to use the oven to get warm a couple days. But stay was pleasant nonetheless, and when we had difficulty with the TV that the Vacasa agency could not solve, the owner himself came by and fixed it. The owner left his personal phone # on his Welcome sheet and plans to leave written instructions for the tv in the future. Our dealings with Vacasa were unsatisfactory. They were clueless and made little or no attempt to provide good information about the tv. But the owner was pleasant and dedicated to making our stay perfect."

- "Great location but unit needs some furniture upgrades" - "Our stay was very pleasant - check-in was easy and we received quick responses. All essentials were provided and the location was awesome. Just a step out the main entrance and you'll be in the hub of Sun Peaks. Great place for families to stay. The sofa bed in the living room was quite uncomfortable to sleep on but I found a futon mattress in the closet that I used to place on top of the sofa bed the second night and it was much more comfortable. Wish I would have known this sooner, but it didn't effect my stay too much! Would stay here again in the future."

- "We had a nice stay! However, the water in the picture is misleading in that it is more a creek than lake. However there is a lake a 5 minute drive that is beautiful for swimming and paddling. We would come again." - "Sweet cabin, set up for a great time away. Had all we needed except for wine bottle opener, but I had brought one. Relaxing views and close to all we wanted to see." - "The location of this property is wonderful. There are many outdoor activities to do in the surrounding area. The cabin needed additonal maintenence, cleaning and items to make the stay more enjoyable. Then linens were lacking. There were several things in disrepair including the couch, mirror, shower head and railing that need attention for a comfortable stay. The communal pool was fun for kids. Overall, I would recommend the property location. But I would not stay in this particular cabin again until improvements are made."

- "Very clean and cozy apartment. Appliances look like new, and great location as well!" - "Would have been nice to have more clarity of where to go, where to park, etc. They first sent us to wrong parking lot and charged us then later told us we were actually staying up the road and didn’t know why we were told to park downstairs.
