Beautifully appointed room, loved the coffee machine and beds were comfortable, shower was in good working order and had l'occitane bath products. We skiied 3 days and the hotel was very convenient to the hill. Due to covid we didnt use the ski locker, but was easy enough to store our skis in our car in the undergrouund parkade. - "Lance the manager could not have been more helpful or friendly the rooms were very nicely decorated and spotless clean it was lovely walking around the garden down to the river and on to the jetty you even had a couple of hot tubs to use. We found it very relaxing just sitting on the balcony with a drink looking across the river at the passing trains in the distance just perfect. There could be a few minor problems for some travellers but with some forward planning should not be a problem. As with most of Canada you have to buy your wine and beer from a bottle store..There are not any close by so bring some with you.. There are not any restaurants near so eat at lunch time and bring a snack with you there is a petrol station close by but with very limited food selection. In the evening there are a few insects looking for a meal so don’t forget your spray.. And unfortunately there is a railway track about 200 meters from the front of the property we had one train passing at about 11 pm and another around 5 am both travelling very slowly there might of been more but as all the rooms face to the back we didn’t notice them,the other two didn’t bother us as it’s something we had not experienced before. And when we get back to Canada again we will look forward to my return visit to Blue Shore Resort ."

Entry level includes in-unit washer and dryer and a den with a Smart TV and 2-sets of twin bunks (4 beds). Second level has a walk-out to front deck with beautiful mountain views and a back porch with a bbq and hot tub. Warm and welcoming, this floor features a 2-piece bathroom, fully equipped kitchen , dining area and great room with a flat screen TV, gas fireplace and pull-out couch. The third floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed. Both rooms have televisions, dressers and clothes closets. There is a second full bathroom on this level. Bathrooms, kitchen, and entrance all feature heated tile floors and beautiful fir cabinets and doors.

This town house in Snow Creek Village is the best ski in/ski out location on the mountain, have your skis on in a minute and ski down to the base of the lifts. When you get home after skiing you will relax in the private hot tub on the balcony, with a view of Mt Morrisey in the background. You are a very short walk from shops and restaurants and literally just across the street from the skating rink.
Our two bedroom townhouse sleeps 4 - 6 people; a queen bed in each of the bedrooms, two more people may sleep on the queen sofa bed in the living room. There are two bathrooms, each with heated tile floors, a tub/shower, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer.
This unit is 1,100 sq. ft. on three levels. There is a private garage on the ground level; a full kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom on the first floor; the two bedrooms, one bathroom and laundry machines on the second floor. The hot tub sits on the balcony outside the living room with the gas BBQ on the balcony outside the dining room. The living room has a cozy gas fireplace where you can relax after a day on the slopes, sitting in either of the comfortable chairs or on the sofa.
The large kitchen has all you will need to create a memorable meal for those big appetites. Not only does it have a full sized fridge and stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker (filters provided), blender, slow cooker and mixer but it also has a large counter top where all the helpers will feel right at home assisting the chef. There is a walk-in pantry to store all the essentials you will bring for your stay. There are basic seasonings supplied - sugar, salt, pepper as well as some herbs and spices.
There is Wi-Fi, the password is available in the unit. It has its own telephone for local and emergency calls. There is HD Optik TV, as well as a DVD player. There is also a blue ray player. The bedrooms each have an HD digital TV.
There is an EV charger located two minutes walk away, at the corner of Village Way and Village Place.
In the summer, for those who are golfers, there is a very challenging 18 hole golf course within walking distance.
One of the chair lifts operates daily during July and August carrying hikers and mountain bikers up the mountain. McGillivray Lake is within walking distance and you can also drive there to take your canoe or kayak to the water.

Well winter is fast approaching so sit back and relax after your day and enjoy the serenity and view ( mountains) of our back yard. Each room has a view with private patio, fire pit and BBQ. Very quiet above ground exceptionally clean and private spacious suite with 9’ ceilings. King size bed for a great night sleep. The suite also has a private separate entry with keyless entry.
All amenities are included. We are situated away from the main rd so no traffic noise or issues. Only 7 min to downtown. ( 15-20 min to airport) and a short easy drive (35-40min) to Sun Peaks Ski Resort or to the Shuswap lake resorts. Very quiet neighborhood.

The Rayleigh River Retreat is truly an experience as well as a wonderful place to stay. Enjoy a white sandy beach from May to August for suntanning and swimming or a short drive Skiing at Sun Peaks in the winter. Our apartment is situated on our 1 acre property and is totally your space. Enjoy this PRIVATE apartment nestled in a beautiful backyard riverfront oasis. Enjoy the koi pond while relaxing on the patio or stroll down to the river for a beach walk or swim. There are also countless flower and vegetable gardens to enjoy. After your meal enjoy an aperitif beside the pond or fire barrel. The apartment has just been re modelled to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable.
Sparkling cleaning procedures and sanitation of all surface areas is a must for our suite. We follow Covid cleaning guidelines very strictly to give you peace of mind when staying at our retreat. Fresh linens, duvets, coverlets, towels, blankets always! We also offer cleaning products for our guests to do their own disinfecting if that is what You prefer when you arrive or during your stay.
Guests have access to the entire apartment and immaculate river front property. The apartment itself is the entire bottom floor of our 6000 square foot house which overlooks our 1 acre property. There is a beautiful koi fish pond covered by a stunning gazebo with an outdoor patio area right outside your front door that is surrounded by greenery making it hidden from view and very private. The beautiful private patio area right beside the pond has a gas fire table, private eating table and Webber BBQ for guest use and 2nd sitting area facing the pond. Imagine relaxing beside the pond listening to two waterfalls as you relax beside the fire table and watch the koi fish swim around. The riverfront and vast beach are just steps away down the yard. (From August to May as river is low, in between enjoy the floating dock deck chairs when the water is high) There are many vegetable and flower beds to stroll through and enjoy.
Wedding Ceremonies - We charge $500 for our wedding ceremonies that take place beside the pond or down by the river between the two pine trees. A wedding arbor is available during summer months between the pine trees only . The suite has an area beside the pond for mingling and pictures after the ceremony. Maximum of 25 people per ceremony between 3-5 pm, no alcohol is permitted, maximum number of cars is 10.
Our skiers love to stay with us as the full kitchen allows for easy cooking after a great day of skiing, our many areas allow for private relaxation or full gatherings to celebrate the great skiing day.
There is a floating dock when the river is high from May to August and a beautiful beach available from August to May, perfect for sunbathing and suntanning.
The recently re modelled kitchen and living room are both tastefully decorated to allow a relaxing time in either room. The living room has an L shaped couch to allow you to relax and watch your favorite show on our 72 inch smart tv with sound bar beside the fireplace or you can look out our our bay window and admire the pond, river and mountain views. The couch is a queen sofa bed with a gel mattress as well for your added comfort.
The newly re modelled kitchen is super cute and has ample space and amenities to allow you to comfortably make your favorite meal with a beautiful view of the pond. My kitchen has all the amenities of home from spices to pots, pans, and dishes so rest assured you can cook to your hearts content.
We are told our COFFEE/TEA BAR is fantastic, Nespresso machine, milk Frother for lattes, French press, fresh coffee beans, tea infuser with a wonderful selection of teas, hot chocolate, chocolates and cookies, beautiful coffee and tea mugs, what more could you ask for and all complimentary.
The main bed room is very spacious with a beautiful queen log bed, fire place and ample space to relax in. It is tastefully decorated to ensure a great nights sleep is had on your Eqyptian Cotten sheets, comfy duvets and pillows. There is a second spacious bedroom with a beautiful sleigh double bed with wonderful bedding as well to ensure your sleep is in the dream zone. All bedding is steam sanitized to ensure your sleep is fresh and restful. The bathroom is beautifully decorated and equipped with big comfy bath towels, hair dryer and beautifully scented shampoo/conditioner and soaps.
My apartment is always being updated to ensure your stay is comfortable and welcoming. Our cozy private lakefront property has all that you need to relax and unwind. With 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping flex space on a 1/2 acre lot on Heffley Lake. The home has a fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous deck and only steps from the lake and dedicated dock. This home has 1. 5 bathrooms, wood and electric fireplaces. With WIFI, Netflix via apple boxes (guests use own accounts) as well as books, games and puzzles for guest use.

The thoughtfully designed, open concept main level is perfect for entertaining your family and friends. The main are features a gas fireplace, and expansive windows. The modern kitchen opens to the living room, has custom wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances (with ice & water dispensers), and a large island with seating for four. Relax and take in the breathtaking views of the mountains from the 5-seater hot tub.
Both bedrooms offer mountain views and feature 100% cotton linens and down alternative comforters & pillows to promote a comfortable stay. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, private ensuite, flat screen television and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen- size bed and closet. The custom sofa has a queen memory foam pullout. There is also a full-sized washer & dryer.

- "Temps were below zero F and even with thermostat at full heat, we had to use the oven to get warm a couple days. But stay was pleasant nonetheless, and when we had difficulty with the TV that the Vacasa agency could not solve, the owner himself came by and fixed it. The owner left his personal phone # on his Welcome sheet and plans to leave written instructions for the tv in the future. Our dealings with Vacasa were unsatisfactory. They were clueless and made little or no attempt to provide good information about the tv. But the owner was pleasant and dedicated to making our stay perfect."

To Ski in at the end of the day, take the Orient chair to the top, choose a green or blue run, and you will be back at the end of the complex in a few minutes.

The suite is CLOSED-OFF with large, floor to ceiling lockable door, from the main floor. Here, you can rest and relax. A fresh breakfast in the morning of coffee/tea, pastries and fresh fruit is available on request - please message the host the night before if you would like it.

Guests will have PRIVACY OF THE ENTIRE LOWER FLOOR - this includes a lounge, bedroom and adjoining bathroom. The more than 600 square feet of space provides a private family room where you will find a cozy, nicely decorated space. Our suite has always been cleaned and maintained to the highest of standards, but with the impact of Covid-19, cleaning has been taken to an even higher level. The suite is deep cleaned and disinfected using approved hard-surface disinfectants. High contact areas such as doorknobs, handrails, counter tops, light switches and electronics are completely disinfected for new guests. The space
Our property is located in a quiet, safe and family-oriented cul-de-sac in the desirable neighborhood of Westsyde. Our home is a split-level, with separate entries for upstairs and downstairs. So you'll have your own private entrance.
We are a young family of 4 including 2 young children. We stay upstairs and the downstairs is for guests exclusively. There are 2 suites downstairs which are rented separately, so there is a high chance that you run into another guest during your stay. Our suites are perfect for solo travelers or business persons seeking an affordable, clean and welcoming space. There is a full bathroom and a common living/dining area, where we have recently added a kitchenette; equipped with mini fridge, toaster, electric kettle and microwave.
We respect our guests' privacy and we want to make sure that you feel comfortable in our home.

The space
NOTES:
By default, we won't prepare two rooms unless you book for FOUR (4) guests. There's an extra flat fee of $35 per night for using the second bedroom. So, if you need both bedrooms, please ensure you book for FOUR (4) guests, and ABnB will automatically include the extra charge. Once you've booked both rooms, please let us know how you’d like the beds arranged.
Each room has its own full bathroom, double bed, and big-screen TV. The main guest room has a small table and snack prep area with a coffee pot, hot water pot, toaster, and basic utensils. There's also a small fridge and microwave in the nearby rec room.
We offer high-speed WiFi, HD cable TV, and a Roku box for Netflix. The WiFi information is posted in each room. We also have a ping-pong table; just let us know if you want to use it, and we can set it up for you or you can set it up on your own (by carefully following the instructions on the back of the table)
We love dogs and are happy to welcome yours, but please make sure they’re house-trained. Pets aren’t allowed on the beds to avoid pet hair on the bedding.
Our neighborhood is generally quite safe, but it’s a good idea to bring valuables inside and lock your car doors. Don’t leave anything valuable or tempting in your car, especially in plain sight.

Guest access
The Guest ABnB space includes most of the lower level area of our home, or more specifically the two ABnB bedrooms, the rec room, and the backyard.
Although the ABnB space is separate from where we usually hang out, we do move through the recreation room space occasionally (or most evenings) to get to our media area in a corner of the lower level space. A curtain separates the media room from the rec room space. We generally think of the media room as our personal spot.We also access the furnace/maintenance room and a small storage room near the stairs on occasion.
Additionally, on weekends during the summer we may be working or in, or accessing the back yard. This usually involves mowing the grass and clearing snow in the winter, but sometimes there’s more to do. We try to do this work when it’s least disruptive to our guests and promise not to wake you up at 7:00 am with a lawnmower outside your window.
REGARDLESS, we REALLY want you to feel as comfortable as you would at home. PLEASE feel free to come and go as you please, chat, laugh, turn up your bedroom TV volume, and generally use the ABnB space without any worries about bothering us. And if you hear our TV on in our media room space, don’t hesitate to call us out to say hi or have a chat. We don’t mind at all.

Our aim is to make our home comfortable and relaxing. Some guests prefer a formal meet-and-greet, while others enjoy privacy and independence.
At times, we may be busy and not around much during your stay. If you'd like to meet us, let us know, and we'll try to spend some time with you.

Other things to note
Our ABnB space is set up primarily for short stays. Extended visits are welcome, but please note that we do not have a full kitchen, formal dining, or a spacious casual living area for guest use.
However, as described elsewhere, we offer a space with a separate entrance, cozy self-contained rooms, and basic meal preparation amenities available to guests in or near the room.
Our preparation and clean-up spaces are limited but suitable for making snacks in your room or on the backyard patio. Because we do not have a cleaning fee on our listing, we ask that guests wash and clean all their dishes and utensils before check-out to help keep our listing affordable.
If you are a longer-term guest (7 days or more), please let us know if you have any specific needs outside of what our listing states. We try to assist with any requests or needs where possible, such as additional ice or access to trash bins, especially when informed prior to booking confirmation.
For guests bringing a canine companion(s), there is a self-filling water bowl and dog door to the backyard near the sliding patio door ABnB access. There is no extra fee for dogs, but we ask that they be fully house trained, not allowed on the beds, and not prone to shedding excessively. Please clean up after your dog while you are with us. A towel for wiping feet and poop disposal bags are provided outside near the ABnB access door.

Your room is located in the basement with a daylight window. Amenities include armoire, hangers, laundry basket, night tables & lamps, extra blankets, comfortable double bed, extra pillows, mirror, chair & desk. There's an assortment of books, games and puzzles in the comfortable sitting area outside the bedroom. You are welcome to enjoy this space as well for relaxing, reading or watching tv & movies.
The space
My home will appeal to the traveller who likes a clean, warm & inviting atmosphere. Built in 1912 it is now 112 years old. Some things are original to the house when I purchased it in 2001 & some have been upgraded.
I would describe my decorating style as bohemian, I love colour & a homey atmosphere. I have done many renovations to my home & property myself, there is pride of ownership both inside & out.
The kitchen & bathroom are located on the main floor & are shared spaces. You are requested to keep these areas tidy & clean after your use. My motto is leave it the way you found it.
There is lots to see in my yard. You are most welcome to enjoy it at your leisure.
Guest access
Access to my home is through the back door. Come through the front gate and take the walkway to the back yard and up the deck. The door is equipped with keyless entry. I will program the lock with the last 4 digits of the phone number you have provided through AirBnB.

To unlock the door enter your 4 digit code & turn the key knob to the right.
Please keep the door locked at all times.
To lock the door when you leave close the door, press the 'Schlag' button at the top of the number pad and turn the key knob to the left. Please check to make sure it is locked.
If you are staying in the double bedroom ion the lower level take the stairway on the right when you enter the kitchen. Your room will be easy to find. Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay with me.

During your stay
I am more than happy to offer information on Kamloops, whether you are looking for a great restaurant, the location of grocery stores, library, banks, etc.
There are many great hiking/walking/biking trails nearby which I have accessed many times and can advise you on.
If you are interested in having me guide you on a local hike please let me know in advance so that I can make necessary arrangements. If it requires driving I ask that you pay for the gas. There is no charge for my time, I enjoy hiking and it would be my pleasure to spend this time with you.
I love to chat with people and am a friendly person.
Other things to note
If you have difficulties with stairs due to injuries, etc. my home may not work for you. Please let me know if you have any concerns in this regard, I will be totally honest with you.
There is no smoking or vaping allowed in my home. I would prefer you smoke off the property so that it does not blow into the windows, if they are open. Thank you.
I am okay with alcohol consumption but will not tolerate drunkeness. Thank you.

The Contoured Front Rock Garden carries 35 000 pounds of hand placed rocks. Ouch, my poor back! The stepping stones were individually brought in from various locations in the Shuswap. They were selected for their character and beauty. This is a perfect setting for an early morning step meditation. Go barefoot and feel the textures on each stepping stones. Pick a favorite and braille.
