We skiied 3 days and the hotel was very convenient to the hill. Due to covid we didnt use the ski locker, but was easy enough to store our skis in our car in the undergrouund parkade. - "Lance the manager could not have been more helpful or friendly the rooms were very nicely decorated and spotless clean it was lovely walking around the garden down to the river and on to the jetty you even had a couple of hot tubs to use. We found it very relaxing just sitting on the balcony with a drink looking across the river at the passing trains in the distance just perfect. There could be a few minor problems for some travellers but with some forward planning should not be a problem. As with most of Canada you have to buy your wine and beer from a bottle store..There are not any close by so bring some with you.. There are not any restaurants near so eat at lunch time and bring a snack with you there is a petrol station close by but with very limited food selection. In the evening there are a few insects looking for a meal so don’t forget your spray.. And unfortunately there is a railway track about 200 meters from the front of the property we had one train passing at about 11 pm and another around 5 am both travelling very slowly there might of been more but as all the rooms face to the back we didn’t notice them,the other two didn’t bother us as it’s something we had not experienced before. And when we get back to Canada again we will look forward to my return visit to Blue Shore Resort ."
