Please enjoy your stay at The Song Bird House, but treat the home as if it were your own and respect the neighbors. All pets need to be cleaned up after and kept on the property otherwise additional charges may occur. Please ensure the hot tub is kept clean and soap free. If the hot tub needs to be drained after your stay there will be a $200 fee. There is no smoking allowed inside the home or hot tub.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious.The covered deck and the patio under the trees gave shade when needed. The hot tub clean and was enjoyed at night. The kitchen was well stocked. Even a high chair for the littlest one. The kids had fun with the foosball and crokinole board. The yard was large and fully fenced (that’s a big plus for kids and dog). The beach was close, clean and beautiful (even a water splash park was there). Owners were quick to respond with any inquiries we had. We would definitely 100% stay here again. - "Great location for our group ski trip. The house is close to K3 cat skiing (20 min), Revelstoke Mt (45 min) and Silver Star (75 min). The house is well setup for a large group. Plenty of beds and space to spread out. We cooked a couple of meals at the house and had everything needed... The hot tub is great too. Very clean and covered with a pergola. If you're only skiing at Revelstoke, you may want to look for accommodations closer to the mountain (you'll pay more though). But if you're interested in K3 or Silver Star, Sicamous is great option. There's not a lot going on in town during the winter, but we did enjoy Moose Mulligans a couple times! Be aware that you don't have access to the garage (which would be nice to store skis). But the drying room is a nice touch and includes two boot dryers. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. The homeowner was great and quick to respond to questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property."

This cozy cabin is located in Buena Vista Resort, just a short drive to the heart of Sicamous with quick access to grocery, restaurants, bars & shops.
The Resort offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; the vast beach front; boat slip in the private marina; large greenspace with playground, tennis courts, basketball net and horse shoes. The Space
This cozy cabin boasts a large deck, nestled in and amongst the tall towering trees, with a view of the beach and lake, creating a truly cozy cabin feel. And, just a short stroll down to the beach. Enjoy cooking on the grill and dining outside!
Thecabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked, all linens are provided; 24" TV with Chromecast; XBox w/ games as well as board games.
This property also offers 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs and 2 tennis rackets for guest use.

There is one parking space available behind the cabin. Additional parking is located outside of the resort fence. We ask that there be no more than 2 vehicles.

Access to the lake is within the resort....try to bring water shoes as it is a bit rocky. I had 3 kids under the age of 12 and 2 teenagers....everybody had fun at the waterslide. The kayaks were a bonus (there are some adult emergency floatation jackets at the cabin but I would recommend bringing your own lifejackets) Overall a great place to be in the summer...."

White Pines Estates is a gated community on Mara Lake, in Sicamous B.C. Advantages of being in Sicamous is a short 10 min. Walk (3 min drive) to downtown, ice cream, groceries, restaurants and liquor stores. Beautiful sandy beach with swim platform, dock and boat slip - hard to find on the best lake in the Shuswaps. We own a duplex (both sides) in the second row from the lake-view to the lake and the largest grass space in the community. You just have to bring your bedding/towels, everything else is there for you to enjoy. Business License #333

White Pines Estates is a gated community on Mara Lake, in Sicamous B.C. Advantages of being in Sicamous is a short 10 min. Walk (3 min drive) to downtown, ice cream, groceries and liquor stores. Beautiful sandy beach with swim platform, dock and boat slip - hard to find on the best lake in the Shuswaps. We own a duplex (both sides) in the second row from the lake-view to the lake and the largest grass space in the community. You just have to bring your bedding and towels, everything else is there for you to enjoy. Business license #332

- "Property was a five star! Close to beach." - "We rented 6 units at a big family event, best location but lacking the most. Not stocked or maintained. No spices, paper towels, cleaning supplies, dish soap minimal, old smelly dish towels, broken pans, missing lids, no special coffee filters, defected coffee pot,, stove switch broken, towel bar broken, loose rocking toilets, Hot water tank dangerously scalding hot and found out later it was broken before, dirty shower curtain, front door broken, Garage dirty with old drywall, insulation, old beds and junk applainces. New Vinyl plank floor but old carpet upstairs & furniture as same when we rented this unit 20+ years ago. Asked for extra security fee e-transfer above VRBO security deposit. Kept some of it as said we left it a mess., no recourse as they had my transfer. Been doing VRBO for 10 years all over world and never had an issue or experience like this. Full disclosure, We got stuck and shared a non shedding, quiet therapy labradoddle between other units and an owner unit. (Didn’t see no dog rule until we got the check in list, my bad) Caution, They did a unannounced drop by “to check up” on us as family has another unit in complex. Charged for dog - fair enough but when they said we left it the worst they have seen I had to leave a review. I do have pictures but owner wouldn’t share their cleaners pics of unit after. We removed all garbage, personal items, cleaned all dishes & ran dishwasher as requested and double checked unit, guess the cleaning fee charged by VRBO is for what? FYI, no cleaning supplies there anyways. I knew it wasn’t a perfect unit as we stay in another unit a few times a year, know as the party unit in the complex. They say they won’t rent to us again and that’s ok as I won’t rent this unit again, better value elsewhere but location is still nice. Sad ending to a great event at White Pines complex."

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the heart of the Shuswap on Mara LK. Perfect for any time of year. Beach, houseboat rental and more is only a 2 minute walk. Hiking trails to waterfalls is across the street. Snowmobile paradise - tons of trails nearby to get out and blast some powder. There are hot springs not too far away and video surveillance for parking areas offered.

Welcome to The Owlhead Place at the base of the Owlhead Mountain and just a few minutes from the Shuswap Lake! Enjoy the whole house, large backyard, and garage for your perfect vacation. Wake up to the view of the dairy cows from the D Dutchmen Dairy, just a short walk away. Feel right at home in our rooms with comfortable king beds as well as nice mountain views!
Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom has a jetted tub. The living room has comfortable recliners, views, and a TV for those lazy days. The kitchen is fully stocked including a BBQ and smoker on the back patio for all your summertime cooking needs. Regular towels and beach towels are all provided. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.
There is plenty of parking available out front, and even room for a trailer as well.
On the property, we have 2 outdoor cameras. The first one is a ring doorbell camera that faces the street outfront of the property and is actively recording. The second is one attached to the exterior of the garage facing the driveway/street and is also actively recording.

You'll always remember your time in this little town by the lake it is a great place to stay. Lots of hiking trails nearby, and beautiful sandy public beaches. We have 3 free parking spaces and all the boat ramps and beaches are within a 1 km radius as are restaurants, bars and shopping.

Our Mara Lake cabin is located directly on the shore of Mara Lake within the town of sunny Sicamous, B.C. With a breathtaking view and cozy comfort, our family never tires of coming out here to stay. The resort has a private sandy beach, swimming area with swim dock, plenty of green space for outdoor activities and a private marina with a single 26' boat slip for your use during your stay. This 8 person rental property makes an outstanding base to have an amazing vacation in the Shuswap. There are many golf courses nearby, hiking trails and waterfalls to explore for summer fun and snowmobiling and skiing in the winter. With over 600 km of shoreline to explore there are endless beaches and coves for swimming, surfing, wakeboarding and water skiing or whatever watersport you enjoy.

We supply paddle boards and kayaks as part of your stay. Bring a fishing rod; our beach is one of the best spots to fish from on Mara lake. Don't forget your fishing licence though!

The town of Sicamous is getting a new bridge! very exciting for the future but it is causing some disruptions. The lot located beside the campground is the quarry for debris from the bridge site. Dump trucks are working thru the night with back up beacons and loud bangs from their trailers. If you are a light sleeper this is not the campground for you this summer.

Welcome to our Cozy Cabins.
You will love your stay in one of our three cabins on Hyde Mountain Golf Course. Each cabin has 2 beds, a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a private deck with a hot tub, all nestled in the trees on the old Hyde Homestead hobby farm.
When you stay here in the summer, you are just minutes away from the beautiful Mara and Shuswap beaches. For the winter enthusiasts, the snowmobile trailheads are only a 4-minute drive from the door.
Bedding is NOT included. No pets.
The space
You will be staying in 1 of the three Cozy cabins that share The Hyde Homestead with 2 other main houses. The property is 5 treed acres with lots of space for everyone. Inquire about securing the entire Homestead for your next family evening like weddings or reunions :) can’t wait to welcome you :)

Garage is insulated and heated with lots of hooks to dry equipment if needed, air compressor along with tool box and tools for most everyday repairs.

A lovely “AT DOCK” Houseboat Vacation awaits you on beautiful Mara Lake in the interior of British Columbia.
Sunshine and warm water abound. A great jumping off point to check out Salmon Arm and lots of other quaint little towns.
You can hike up Quest Mountain and see a spectacular view of the Sicamous Narrows, Mara Lake and of course the town of Sicamous itself.
The space
The boat itself will sleep 6 comfortably with 2 on the double bed in the main bedroom, 3 adults can sleep comfortably in the penthouse and the couch is also a sofa bed.
If the kids like to tent it, they can set up a tent on the top deck, (just don’t try to pound stakes into the top deck... :0
There is one bathroom with endless hot water with the hot water on demand but with the lake so warm in July and August, I don’t know that you’d want to use the shower, just jump in the lake.
All of the basics, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls and cups are on board.
A coffee press is there for your use as well.
A TV and DVD player are on board as well if you want to wind down from your days activities and watch a movie. No cable or streaming, just a DVD player and USB port if you want to watch something.
If you have a ski boat, you are welcome to bring it along, NEC, and you can tie it up to the dock, first come first serve as I may have another guest on land using it.
As Noted, the cleaning fee is refundable. I've had a number of issues with people not knowing how to use an RV toilet or not using it properly...Yuuck!
So if the boat is nice and clean, and the toilet has been used properly, your cleaning fee is happily refunded.

As noted, this is an At Dock Houseboat Vacation.
But if you wish, for an extra charge, we can take you out for a day trip on the houseboat.
Leave between 9 and 10am and back by approximately 6pm, (weather permitting).
Price is $395 for the day and you provide lunch if possible for me and my wife.
This does not have to be booked in advance but please let me know at the time of booking if you are considering a day trip as, depending on the date of your booking, we may not be available.
I also have a pontoon boat available for a 1/2 day or full day trip as well. This would be with me piloting the boat, (sorry, I won't rent the boat out, but there are boat rentals available in the channel as well as at the Salmon Arm warf).
The price would be $350 for a full day or $250 for about a 4 hour outing. The pontoon boat has a diving board on it and I have a tube as well that I can pull a rider on, NEC.
Please note: on the pontoon boat there are strict restrictions as to the type of food/drinks that I allow on board. Anything with even the possibility of staining the upholstery or carpeting won't be allowed.

La Casa LoDel is an extremely spacious home, being the ONLY 3 bedrooms unit in the complex. Ideal for entertaining small family-friends reunions.
We can accommodate MAXIMUM 2 adults per bedroom, up to 4 children under 12 and a maximum of 3 cars with assigned parking at the front of the house.

You can have your morning coffee/tea on one of the two balconies or the front porch. My favourite place is the recliner in the living room with outstanding views of the lake!
Get the whole gang together for dinner with the expandable table with extra sitting at the counter and patio. Feel free to bring chairs from other rooms to accommodate your party.
Later at night, turn on the fireplace, setup the sofa-bed and put up your feet to enjoy your favourite movie or TV show. The Smart-TV is connected to wifi and is preloaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and other services for your entertainment.
Feeling romantic? Or exhausted after a day of sledding/skiing/biking/hiking? Enjoy the jacuzzi while you watch a movie or listen to some music. Just make sure to fill up the jacuzzi above the jets, otherwise you will be in for some major splashing...and clean up.
The 2 large bedrooms have been organized to fit 4 adults comfortably with one queen and one double bed each. We have tried our best to have very comfortable mattresses, pillows and soft linens. We hope you have a very pleasant sleep! Most guests have raved about how well they slept.
The main bedroom has its own washroom for privacy and a balcony.
The balcony is the ideal work/study-from-home area, weather permitting. Otherwise there are many tables and a desk in other areas to have a productive workday in paradise!
If you are here to relax you won’t have to leave the place to have a wonderful time. You won’t get tired of the view and serene environment. You may drive or take a 15 mins walk down the hill into town to enjoy a nice dinner at one of the local pubs/restaurants.
However, if you are sport enthusiasts as the LoDel family, you will find no better place to enjoy nature with all kinds of activities.
We bring our bikes and go for a ride on our own mountain! You can also choose to drive to Revelstoke for some exhilarating downhill biking. During the winter, sled-in/sled-out from the parking lot and explore Hyde Mountain. There are hundreds of trails in the surrounding areas.
If you are more of a water-sport enthusiast, you can bring your paddle boards and drive down 5 minutes to the beach or rent a boat / jet-ski to enjoy some super fun in one of the largest lakes in BC, the Shuswap.

Check road conditions before coming, specially during Winter. You will need winter tires and AWD to get up the hill and drive around the area safely.
Access to the property is through a steep private road with no public transit. However there is a taxi service in Sicamous and you could walk down and back as part of your daily exercise.
Self-check in property through a SmartLock (August), you will need to download the app to access the house.
Please note that construction on the HWY 1 four-laning project and the replacement of the Bruhn bridge begins in fall 2024. To plan your trip and learn about intermittent closures of the bridge that may affect your trip, visit DriveBC.

The Hydeaway shares a space with a second Airbnb Home called The Log Cabin House. Making it the perfect location to host a larger get-together. (weddings/reunions) The homes are such that they are close enough for everyone, yet a perfect distance apart if you are only using one dwelling for your stay. There is a shared green ( okay going to admit it if it’s been a hot summer it will be brown , full disclosure ! ) space for all guests to enjoy. This space allows for a prefect place to run-about, toss a ball or chuck a frisbee. Picnic tables and fire pits are available for everyones use. Each home also has its own view of the lake and private spaces that are for that dwelling only.
We Live on the Property as well, you'll see us feeding the animals and tending to the flower beds and gardens. ( that’s if we’re not flying to baseball mid summer, things grow wild then lol ) we like to stay pretty low key and allow you to enjoy your holiday as you like. Were Happy to be here for you the best we can, we are a social bunch so pop over and say hello whenever you like. :)
