Other things to note

Please enjoy your stay at The Song Bird House, but treat the home as if it were your own and respect the neighbors. All pets need to be cleaned up after and kept on the property otherwise additional charges may occur. Please ensure the hot tub is kept clean and soap free. If the hot tub needs to be drained after your stay there will be a $200 fee. There is no smoking allowed inside the home or hot tub.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious.The covered deck and the patio under the trees gave shade when needed. The hot tub clean and was enjoyed at night. The kitchen was well stocked. Even a high chair for the littlest one. The kids had fun with the foosball and crokinole board. The yard was large and fully fenced (that’s a big plus for kids and dog). The beach was close, clean and beautiful (even a water splash park was there). Owners were quick to respond with any inquiries we had. We would definitely 100% stay here again. Only “slight” issue was bedroom ceilings are low creating navigation concerns in the middle of the night. The stairs leading up to the bedroom are narrow and can be challenging as well, noting the bathroom is located on the main floor. Even though we didn't meet owner, made us feel welcome with a binder listing all the info we needed for amenities close by. Low ceiling in bedroom took some getting used to, but really enjoyed stay. Enjoy your stay in Sicamous in this beautiful two bedroom waterfront condo. Comes with a boat slip (Max 24 ft boot) and two underground parking stalls( most trailers do not fit in parking stalls). When not out on the boat enjoying the beautiful lake you can sit by the heated pool and hot tub. (Pool and hot tub are open from June to Sept long weekend only)**Pool and Hot tub maybe closed Sept 6/2022 for the session for repairs. There is so much to see and do in Sicamous off the water, as well! Take the kids for a round of mini-golf, go go-carting, pet the calves and enjoy fresh ice cream at the D Dutchmen Dairy or bring home a load of fresh BC Fruit at Fruitland! We are 20-25mins from Salmon Arm, which features an outdoor water park. In the other direction, check out the Enchanted Forest 45mins away in Revelstoke.

Maximum occupancy of 9 renters, including children, and maximum of 2 vehicles - there is one outdoor parking spot and one underground. NO boat trailer parking, but there is parking available at several storage facilities in town.

This cozy cabin is located in Buena Vista Resort, just a short drive to the heart of Sicamous with quick access to grocery, restaurants, bars & shops.

The Resort offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; the vast beach front; boat slip in the private marina; large greenspace with playground, tennis courts, basketball net and horse shoes. There is even a shared fire pit down on the beach. This Resort has thought of everything to entertain you and your family while on vacation! ​

The Space
This cozy cabin boasts a large deck, nestled in and amongst the tall towering trees, with a view of the beach and lake, creating a truly cozy cabin feel. And, just a short stroll down to the beach. Enjoy cooking on the grill and dining outside!

​Thecabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked, all linens are provided; 24" TV with Chromecast; XBox w/ games as well as board games.

This property also offers 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs and 2 tennis rackets for guest use.

Parking:
There is one parking space available behind the cabin. Additional parking is located outside of the resort fence. We ask that there be no more than 2 vehicles.

Other Things to Note
There is NO in-cabin laundry. Shared Laundry facilities are located on site. Guests must sign-in to reserve a time. There is a $5 fee for 3 hour usage.

​Boats & Trailers
Boats and personal watercraft are to be launched and removed by the onsite property manger of the resort only. This will be done for a charge of $15 each for entry and removal. Moorage costs are $18 per day and $10 for personal watercraft and payable to the onsite property manager.

Access to the lake is within the resort....try to bring water shoes as it is a bit rocky. I had 3 kids under the age of 12 and 2 teenagers....everybody had fun at the waterslide. The kayaks were a bonus (there are some adult emergency floatation jackets at the cabin but I would recommend bringing your own lifejackets) Overall a great place to be in the summer...."

The location was great, the place is very clean and cozy, with all the trappings of home. A few suggestions: it was fantastic to have the condiments and spices etc at our disposal but would be a good idea to go do a quick go through and look for expired items. The Riverside is an ideal waterfront condo centrally located in Sicamous. We offer a safe, barrier free and fun environment for all ages in all seasons. Out location is a 5-minute walk to multiple amenities including the public beach, shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the hub of activity to have some peace and quiet. In the summer months, the rental comes with a designated boat slip in a recently installed new private dock on "The Narrows" providing access to both Mara Lake and Shuswap Lakes for hours of boating and fishing pleasure. We are nestled in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia where opportunities to explore are endless. Situated on the crystal clear lakes of the Shuswap that span an impressive 89km/55miles there are over 17 villages and towns that flank the Shuswap waterways. In addition there are numerous larger urban centres such as Revelatoke, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops within an hours drive all with their own unique points of interest and charm. Salmon Arm is only 20 minutes and provides access to almost all that a Big City would offer. Sicamous is almost half way between Calgary and Vancouver. Many of our guest rent as a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. It is a town of less than 3000 people where the average person can walk the entire circumference within an hour or two. Most guests visit the famous Dutchman Dairy and buy locally grown fruit and vegetable across the street.

We are a working middle class, middle age couple who love to share our accommodations with others when we can't be here to enjoy the place. All of the amenities and consumables "just like home" are here for you, right down to the coffee and ketchup. We just ask that if you use the last of it you replace it.

The second bedroom is off the main bedroom, but it is also accessible through the patio, so that’s how we accessed it to provide privacy. There are so many pots, pans, and dishes that we could make everything we wanted. It’s a quick walk or less than two minute drive to the grocery and liquor store, the pool was great, and the unit was clean and the building quiet. There is no beach access, but it’s also a short walk away. We can’t wait to come back!"

Guests are granted use of the pool and hot tub facilities and swim at their own risk. There is no life guard on duty and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Other things to note
The Marina slip accommodates a 25'3" boat. Guests must use their own mooring lines and use the slip at their own risk. Neither the home owner or property manager are responsible for theft or damage while your boat is moored in the Marina. The marina has key access only.

Check-in time is between 4 - 10pm as guests must use the intercom upon arrival to gain access from the property manager. Once inside the condo, keys are provided for the front door.

The home owner is a travelling nurse and occasionally when in town has a private locked off space with separate entrance. Her locked space opens up on the balcony. However, we have the balcony blocked off from this space and she will not enter the balcony.

Welcome to The Owlhead Place at the base of the Owlhead Mountain and just a few minutes from the Shuswap Lake! Enjoy the whole house, large backyard, and garage for your perfect vacation. Wake up to the view of the dairy cows from the D Dutchmen Dairy, just a short walk away. Feel right at home in our rooms with comfortable king beds as well as nice mountain views!

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom has a jetted tub. The living room has comfortable recliners, views, and a TV for those lazy days. The kitchen is fully stocked including a BBQ and smoker on the back patio for all your summertime cooking needs. Regular towels and beach towels are all provided. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.

There is plenty of parking available out front, and even room for a trailer as well.

On the property, we have 2 outdoor cameras. The first one is a ring doorbell camera that faces the street outfront of the property and is actively recording. The second is one attached to the exterior of the garage facing the driveway/street and is also actively recording.
