We have a beautifully updated 2200 sq. ft. self- contained 3 bedroom top floor suite that is available for you to enjoy and use as a home base for any adventure that you are coming to explore.

- Hiking up to some of the near by peaks and waterfalls including Saddle Mountain Lookout Trail, and Wilson Falls
- Enjoying untouched powder with a local world class heli-skiing operator
- Downhill skiing or cross country at Summit Lake Ski Hill
- Enjoying summer lake activities including boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and water skiing (the Arrow Lakes is one of the calmest lakes in BC with more summer days having little to no breeze)
- Exploring the local historic mining towns including New Denver, Sandon, and Kaslo

There are 4 natural hot springs near the town of Nakusp which is only 15 minutes away. You will find a Save on foods for your supplies and quaint restaurants and shops.
Our Arrow park shuttle ferry which brings you across Arrow lake to us is the first electric ferry in BC. Ferry hours are 5 am to 9:20 pm closing noon to 2:15 daily so it's easy to plan around.

GALENA BAY FERRY TERMINAL
- The ferry from Galena Bay to Shelter Bay typically leaves every hour on the half hour, from 6:30am - 11:30pm daily
- Upon arrival to Shelter Bay drive along Highway 23 for 10km
- Turn right onto Sidmouth Rd.
- Continue for 700m and the property will be on your right

There is limited reception on Hwy 23S and no cellular reception in Shelter Bay. High speed Wi-Fi is provided via Starlink. In the event of a power outage, you may not be able to access cellular signal or the Internet.

The property is located on 11 unfenced acres. The home itself is set back about 1/2 an acre off Sidmouth Road.

There is no public transit to this property. You will need a vehicle. We advise all guests staying in the wintertime to have snow tires and 4x4 for the winter conditions. The driveway is sloped and may require 4x4.

There is parking for multiple vehicles and trailers in the driveway (uncovered). Please, no sled parking in the garage - the heat will bubble/melt the flooring.

Our lodge in Trout Lake accommodates up to 14 adults comfortably with 2 guests per room. Our base price is $300.00 per night based on 4 adults. Any additional friends or family is an extra $50.00 per night per person. Trout Lake is a place to relax and enjoy outdoors that includes snowmobiling, snowshoeing and in the summer hiking, kayaking or quadding just to name a few. There wasn't a bbq on site but after we asked for one, the property managers promptly went out to get one, which we very much appreciated. The BBQ saved our cooking experience! Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom which we all loved. The family/games area was amazing as was the outdoor bar/seating area with incredible views. The pool and hot tub are even more amazing than the photos. The nearby lake is spectacular and perfect for swimming. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again!
