The Goat's Head Gatehouse is a quaint, stone chalet designed in the image of National Park Gatehouses and is surrounded by the wilderness of Mt. Robson Park. The unique two story structure offers a sun room with floor to ceiling windows and a massive natural stone wood burning fireplace.

French doors open to a flagstone patio from which to enjoy a morning coffee or, for an evening barbecue to grill that perfect fresh caught trout. The patio overlooks a lovely flower garden with hummingbirds and butterflies and in the background, the glacial peaks of Mt. Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies.

The post and beam structure of the Gatehouse was made from pine-beetle killed trees that were cut on the property. Stones for the exterior and interior were gathered locally from quarries and cliff sides but one stone from each of the mountain national parks of western North America were also embedded within the walls.

The wood furnishings and woodwork in the gatehouse were made locally by artisans using reclaimed and recycled wood.

The kitchen contains all the amenities needed to make complete meals and make your stay comfortable. It will be equipped with many staples and pantry items so you need not purchase bulky products to carry around e.g. coffee, tea, condiments, spices, oils, vinegars, etc.

There are two baths, one with a free standing large tub in a cedar plank spa-like bathroom---a perfect way to relax and refresh after a day of sight-seeing or hiking. A walk-in shower with stone walls for that ‘au natural’ feeling is on the main level.

The two bedrooms in the loft each contain a queen, custom-made platform bed---both bedrooms overlook the sun room from a balcony. Each bedroom opens to the upstairs bathroom.

Take a gentle hike right from the front door into pristine meadows (a short trail has been mapped out for you) or walk around the twelve acre private property to find the best view of Mt. Robson and Swift Current Creek. A natural waterfall on Swift Current Creek is 300 meters from your door. Sometimes the view is so stunning it's difficult to know which direction to point your camera!

There are many walks and hikes within 5 km of the Gatehouse. Rearguard Falls is the furthest point of travel for Pacific Salmon and they can be seen in late summer by driving a few km and taking a short walk to the waterfall. Overlander Falls and Hargreaves Canyon are scenic short hikes that are also staging areas for raft tours and high level kayaking. The Trail head for the Swift Current Creek trail starts within walking distance of the Gatehouse and leads up the Revelation Valley (Swift Current Creek) to the head wall of the 91st highest waterfall in the world (currently inaccessible except for real adventurers). The world famous Berg Lake Trail and the start of the 110 km long north boundary trail are also within 5 km.

There are restaurants and shops in the nearby towns of Valemount and Jasper---a 55 minute drive---that offer additional amenities, recreational activities and, world renowned mountain vistas.

The Carriage House is the newest addition to our existing Vacation Homes on our private property in Mt. Robson Park. As the name implies, the Carriage House's main living arrangement is on the top floor with a full 'state of the art kitchen', four piece bath, living and dining areas, a bedroom and a massive wood burning fireplace. The ground level houses another bedroom and ensuite bathroom, a mudroom and, a laundry. The property is located in Mt. Robson Park, adjacent to Jasper National Park---both world heritage sites---and 85 km west of the Town of Jasper just off the Yellowhead Highway. The Carriage House is located on twelve private acres in a mixed forest with a clear view of M. Robson and Swift Current Creek.

Resplendent Mountain Lodge is a three story, square and dovetailed natural log home made from the property’s pine beetled killed trees and is surrounded by the wilderness of Mt. Robson Park. The clear, unobstructed view of Mt. Robson from the Lodge is striking---some say, it’s the best view in the Robson Valley!

The Lodge is a post and beam structure---open concept on the main floor with full kitchen: soapstone countertops, stainless steel appliances including a double oven and, most pantry items and condiments---you bring only the fresh ingredients. The kitchen comes equipped with small appliances, dishes, cutlery (enough for 12) and pots and pans.

There is a wrap-around deck on the main floor with gas barbeque and seating for 8. The deck is a perfect place for that morning coffee and to marvel at the glacial peaks of Mt Robson or to hear the rustle of Swift Current Creek below. Also on this level is a bathroom with open shower, a TV/library room (satellite and wireless internet) and an open dining and living area with seating for 8. There is also a massive natural stone wood burning fireplace (wood supplied). The wood furnishings are all made by local craftspeople and all artwork was commissioned by local artisans.

A unique floor to ceiling diamond willow staircase leads to the upper level that has two bedrooms ---one bedroom has an outstanding view of Mt. Robson, the other overlooks the forest and garden. Each bedroom has one queen size bed and both bedrooms open to a large bathroom with a large shower-tub combination; stained glass windows adorn two sides of the bathroom walls. Beds were made locally from birch and diamond willow. All toiletries, paper products, towels and linen is supplied.

A laundry nook is available on the lower level.

Our cabin is located on our small ranch 7 km from the gateway to Wells Gray Park, home of waterfalls and hiking.
Our focus is on having our guests relax around the outdoor fire pit,or indoor wood stove. Free to enjoy the mountain views from the deck. There is a large front yard for children and pets to enjoy..tents are permitted for the extras...please enquire pre visit.
We can provide directions to hikes in the park, information on local business offerings, or book tours and outings for your stay.
Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, full bathroom kitchenette with table and chairs and a comfortable sitting area.
This is a rural cabin..delicious sand filtered well water...instant hot water for your convenience.

You may hear snowmobiles and helicopters in the area if you're enjoying the views outside this winter or spring. Blue River is well known around the world for its pristine, waist deep powder in some of the most exciting terrain imaginable! So relax on the two storey, screened-in deck or soak it all in, in the six person hot tub located off the back deck (available October to March only), nestled in a spa-like setting with cedar clad walls.

If you're visiting this summer or fall, take a short walk to Eleanor Lake (which this suite is named after), Blue River's white sandy beach located in the centre of town, complete with a sand volleyball court, concession, fire pits, picnic tables and a playground. You could also stroll past the town's Community Garden and collect some fresh produce from either of our boxes, or any one of the community boxes.

If you're only driving through this time, think about staying a bit longer next time!

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Located in the middle of Blue River, the Big House is in a perfect location to reach all the town amenities, is a 5 minute walk from the lake and is perfect for Snowmobiling in and out of during winter months.

The Big House has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, beautiful hand made coffee and dinning tables as well as a spacious deck and yard. Make yourself at home here in Blue River and bring the whole family!

Eleanor Lodge is a full home in the beautiful town of Blue River. Enjoy the four-bedroom house with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. There is a fully fenced backyard ready for your furry friends to stretch their legs after the drive to Blue River.

The beautiful Eleanor Lake is only a block away with a white sand beach and a big dock to dive off. There's a pet friendly swimming area and a fishing wharf along the lake trail.

The space
Eleanor Lodge is ready for your whole family, with its four bedrooms and six beds, there's room for everyone. Two bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, while the other two have bunk beds with a larger double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. If guests are comfortable sharing queen or double beds, the house accommodates up to 10 guests.

There are 1.5 bathrooms in the freshly renovated house. The shower features a standard shower head and a large rain shower head to wash away your travels.

Sit down with the family at the massive dining table, made from reclaimed fir, after enjoying the use of the fully stocked kitchen, which includes a BBQ on the back deck.

The backyard is fenced and ready for your furry friends to start exploring and give their legs a stretch after your drive to Blue River. Sit down next to them, have a campfire and maybe see the northern lights!
