The location, views, fresh air and ruralness of our property lend for a relaxing stay. Our small log cottage, adjacent to the main house, is a perfect retreat to unwind from a busy day of outdoor activities or a break from mainstream life.

The accommodation is close (walking distance) to biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails and is only 16kms from the base gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

The cottage is all open plan and fully appointed to suit self-catering guests wishing to spend more than a couple of days in and around Revelstoke.

The whole interior of the cottage is beautifully finished in a mixture of pine, cedar and hemlock. Upstairs is well lit by windows on each of the 4 gables and comprises a queen sized bed, (plus a single and a roll-away bed by request).

The downstairs of the cottage has a small, open-plan lounge with seating, smart television, a log stove; kitchen with cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher plus all crockery and cooking utensils; bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.

The interior is wonderful and every detail is well considered. It is located on a quiet rural road south west of Revelstoke. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this." - "Me and my husband had an amazing stay here. The woman constantly accommodated us and helped us with anything we needed. She brought us a fan when it got hot, brought us fresh eggs at the beginning of our stay, and helped us with anything we needed. We had a late check in and check out because we were dumb and didn’t double check our plans and she was more than willing to give us a little extra time. The cabin is beautiful and adorable and it was fully equipped with everything we needed for a whole week stay cooking our own meals. It’s out of town enough so it’s secluded but it’s close to town enough so that you can still do tons of stuff without a long drive. 10/10 would love to vacation here again!"

Clean and comfortable with Lots to do for the teenagers around the home…from badminton to bocci to all kinds of indoor games, the boys were busy and so were we. Everyone had space! The kitchen was well equipped and lots of towels for hot tubbing. We brought our own bikes and enjoyed touring around. Close to the mountain so lots of trails and the beach at Williams lake like 5 minutes away. Justin was on call for any concerns… Would have been nice to have some citronella candles on hand but we found a dollar store 😉 All in all it was our 1st vaca meeting up with our son and family at a half way point for all and it was fantastic. We all really enjoyed our stay so thank you for making this one of the most memorable holidays for our family. Highly recommended and would do it again!"

Begbie House is a beautiful timber frame house situated on 3.5 acres of private mountain woodland, with breathtaking views of glacier topped Mt. Begbie. The home is located adjacent to incredible mountain bike and lit Nordic ski trails for some night-time cross country skiing and only minutes away from world class downhill skiing, snow boarding and snowmobile areas. The modern, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, outdoor hot tub, wood stove on main floor, pellet stove on ground floor (c/w ski boot dryers & ski gear drying rack), fooseball table on ground floor, and large televisions will help you relax after a great day outdoors. The large timber frame structure, with it's mix of unique joinery and custom iron work, make this house the ultimate warm and cozy vacation experience! We recently added an extra futon couch in the basement master bedroom, which can be turned into an 8th, separate bed. PLEASE NOTE: the maximum occupancy is 8 people, as per our Vacation Rental Permit. (no exceptions)

We had a week of fantastic skiing and the home has a great set up for drying out ski gear at the end of the day. A well-stocked and comfy kitchen too. Scott was the best host- so friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of great tips of fun things to do, was quick to respond to any questions/concerns, and very helpful when we had difficult flight cancellation issues. It snowed almost every day that we were there and Scott kept the driveway clear for us. The kids loved having the hot tub and the snowy yard to play in after a day on the slopes. Yes, this house is a bit further from the ski resort but the comfort and atmosphere made it well worth it. Highly recommend!"
