On the ground floor there were many vacant shop fronts. Understandable since they still building it up. It was nice to have a small grocery store at the base of the building. I would drive into town and shop at the Save-On to save a few loonies. There was construction of a new set of units nearby but never heard it. It was a quick 3 to 5 minute drive to Revy. If you go on the friday/weekend, I recommend leaving early so you can get a parking spot. We never tried the bus. The parking was a bit tight for the Highlander we rented. You'll likely need to back in the parking spot. The parking is across from the elevator. We needed to pull out a bit before everyone could pile in. Would consider renting this place again"

- "We booked this through Expedia which had been a great source of accommodations over the years. After staying here, we strongly recommend Expedia remove this unit from their site. We pulled up to what looked like storage units and had to double check the address, this was it. Basically a suite built above a commercial bay, ours was a snow mobile club. First impression, it looked nice but we quickly realized it was lipstick on a pig. The hid a bed mattress was basically a sheet over springs, no person could comfortably sleep on this. It is located in a industrial area so you have security lights and machines clearing snow all night- ugh. If the bedroom blinds had been install correctly, like the living room blinds, they would have helped keep light out. We woke the first morning to water on both window ledges and in the bedroom it had begun to run down the wall. I called the help line to get more towels and an additional mattress, cot, duvet or anything to allow the hid a bed to be usable. The gentleman said they do not have anything, they are simply the managing company and the owners are responsible for any items in the unit. I asked him to please bring towels as we had used some to mop up the water, "I'm on it was his response." That evening we returned to the unit, no towels or signs of anyone being there. We called again, a towel and a duvet was delivered. Additionally some plugs and the bedroom tv didn't work. Shower phone was ready to fall off wall. "

You will be staying in our freshly renovated, modern half basement suite. From every window there are beautiful, expansive views of the mountains and the glacial river. After a day of adventuring, there is a new hot tub on our shared deck for you to soak in the views and relax.

The space
The half basement has a separate entrance through the garage. There is a door separating the upstairs to downstairs for your privacy. Downstairs you have your own fully stocked kitchenette, with fridge, convection oven, induction cook top, microwave, air fryer, mini blender, Grosche stovetop espresso maker, tea press and kettle. There is also a brand new bathroom with soaker tub and bedroom with a queen sized bed, dresser and closet. The entire house is a gallery of local artists with the theme of nature and recreation.

Upstairs will be my husband and I, who are both working professionals. In our younger years we were both wilderness guides and are well travelled. Our main interests are a variety of outdoor adventures and music. We have a well trained, 5 year old red border collie, who will be excited to meet you, and a grey and white, soft long haired, 10 year old cat that is quiet and keeps to himself. We love our fur babies and they are very well cared for. You might see them running and playing in the yard while you’re having a bon-fire or soaking in the hot tub.

We live in a temperate rainforest, which is why Revelstoke is known for powder days. On days where it is puking snow, we may not be able to maintain the driveway until 3:30pm when we return from work.
