As you drive up the road you will find the lovely home with 4 large and historically protected maple trees bordering the front of the property. There is a curved driveway past the front entrance of the home taking you to the ample parking area.
From the spacious suite (approximately 1500 sq. ft.), your private entrance opens directly to a large yard for the delight of children and adults.
The yard is surrounded by tall cedars and shrubs and backs onto a cherry orchard which affords you total privacy as you relax and dine in the gazebo (seating for 10), relax in the sun in the papasan chairs or dine at the table under an umbrella with seating for 6. There is a barbecue exclusively for your use. You are invited to pick some cherries in season from the 1 remaining cherry tree (as 2 trees grew old and became unsafe) and to enjoy seasonal fresh vegetables from the garden.
Children can play in the playhouse, enjoy the sandbox , climb-swing-slide on the play structure or explore the yard on the tricycle path. There are bikes available for children and adults. There are many yard games available including a ping pong table outside.

Our home is brand new featuring this suite which offers complete lower level suite in our family home. We are about a 2km. north of Summerland just off Highway 97. Access to our place is via gravel road for about 2 minutes of driving with a paved driveway and genourous parking spot on your arrival. Our home is nestled within a family owned working vineyard with views in all directions that are almost reminiscent of a French countryside. This property offers 180⁰ views of Lake Okanagan with views of Peachland to the North and the Narramata Bench across the lake and to the South the delta of Summerland. Our property is larger than most suites offer almost 1500 ft of living space. Kitchen is upgraded and perfect for your entertaining tastes. We offer two large separate bedrooms with QUEEN size beds and separate access of each room. Both rooms offer stunning views of the lake. One bedroom is complete with its own separate bathroom containing large 6 foot shower and his and hers quartz vanity sinks. It also comes with a walk in closet with more than ample storage. The other bathroom has a tub and shower combination with quartz countertops. The open concept of the living, dining and kitchen area make for perfect entertaining while enjoying the beautiful views and summer breezes. This space comes complete with deperate laundry room containing full size washer and dryer. Off the main floor, a large walkout covered outdoor living space off of kitchen featuring modern patio furniture and large dining table for entertaining, all with beautiful lake and vineyard views where you can enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie. There is a bedroom with Queen Bed and lake view and a beautifully renovated 3-piece bathroom on main floor as well.
Lower level features laundry room with modern washer and dryer, 1 Bedroom with Queen Bed, fully renovated bathroom and Entertainment Room with 72-inch TV. Practice yoga or piano in the yoga/piano room. Walkout basement to backyard and vineyard, where you can help yourself to blackberries, golden raspberries, table grapes or apples when in season. Other things to note
We encourage use of one of the numerous deck and large back yard and vineyard but please note this is a quiet residential area and there are ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES or loud outdoor music as this a serene environment and we need to be mindful of our neighbours. There is no outdoor noise permitted after 10:00pm; any disregard for this and disruptions to the neighbours will result in us asking you to leave the property immediately. There is a maximum of 8 guests permitted in the house, with no exceptions unless communicated with and approved with us beforehand. Kindly note the home is equipped with NoiseAware technology to monitor sound levels, and outside video surveillance (no indoor surveillance of course). NO GUESTS UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE (other than children accompanied by parents).

For the wine lovers- this home is minutes from our favorite wineries such as Generation 8, Dirty Laundry and more.

For outdoor enthusiasts – there are many nearby hikes such as Giant’s head, as well as the Trans Canada trail where you can cycle or hike. The home is only a 45-minute drive to Apex Ski Mountain and 1.5 hours to Big White Ski Mountain.

If you are planning on doing some shopping the home is a 10-minute drive to Penticton and a 30-minute lakeside drive to West Kelowna.

As you enter the home, you are greeted with a stunning open concept space with 10ft floor to ceiling windows. The retractable glass doors open to a million-dollar view of the lake.

There is ample living space with a 75” picture frame TV, spacious sectional, dining table that seats 10 people – plenty of room for your family to enjoy time and conversations together. The island has seating for 4 people and a bar where you can mix up your favorite cocktails.

The kitchen is equipped with a 8 burner Wolfe Stove with 2 ovens and top of the line appliances – Wolfe blender, Wolfe coffee maker, Wolfe toaster etc. Plenty of space to cook some delicious dinners.

The primary bedroom has 11ft floor to ceiling windows and a covered deck overlooking the lake. The room has a king bed, spa-like ensuite with heated floors, tub, walk in shower, private washroom, and a big walk-in closet all overlooking the lake. The entire primary room is equipped with electronic Lutron blinds. The pillows and duvet are feather and down to provide the most comfort in all bedrooms.

The 2nd guestroom has a queen bed and a small desk. The 3rd room has built-in bunkbeds (two queens on the bottom and 2 twins on top.) On the main floor you will find the 4th guestroom that has a beautiful ensuite, desk and a 55” TV.

There is a washer and dryer on both floors.

Great location between downtown Summerland and Dale meadows. Lots of parking, you can bring your boat! There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and room for a couple more in the living room on the large sectional couch (or an air mattress can be provided). Bring your 4-legged family members on vacation with you! We are dog friendly and close to a dog park. Less then a 10 minute drive to some great beaches and wineries.

This property is 5 minutes to town, 15 minutes to Penticton and 45 minutes south to the USA border and north to Kelowna . Occupancy is restricted to 2 persons, parking for unit by 5th wheel .

The space
We can accomodate up to 6 non smoking guests. We provide a coffee pot, microwave, tea kettle, small fridge, propane barbeque and dishes/cutlery for light meal and snack preparation.
We will waive the $25 nightly fee for guests over the first 2 , if those additional guests are 16 yrs old or younger.
Guest access
We're less than a 3 minute walk to 2 beaches on Okanagan Lake and to trails which will take you to several wineries and fabulous views. A boat launch and park with beach volleyball and kids' spray park are 2 km away. Summerland has several restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Penticton is 15 km south on Hwy 97, and Kelowna is 50 km north. There are dozens of wineries, hiking and biking trails and beaches throughout the South Okanagan within about 1 hour drive of our home.
During your stay
We are a couple of empty nesters who occupy the top floor of our two level Summerland home. Our rental suite is on the ground floor. Guests have their own access. Access to our living space upstairs is open but we stay up, while guests stay down. We are very happy to help with anything that will make your stay a great one. We have a super friendly golden retriever who will stay upstairs with us and a not so friendly calico cat who makes herself scarce when company comes.
Other things to note
There's room on the flat driveway for you to park a car or truck as well as trailer or boat.
