- "This is the best Ski in/Ski Out location on the hill. The lockers are literally at the base of the hill. Unlike many vacation rentals there is no basic grocery items, for instance there is no salt, pepper, spices, oil etc. The only things there are coffee, tea, sugar, powdered creamers. The dishes were adaquate but sparse, only 3 bowls etc. Housekeeping came in daily, but it seemed all they did was replenish dishwasher tabs and toiletries. Our toilet was visibly dirty, but they did not clean it and there were no supplies there to clean it yourself."

This condo has an amazing kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances in a well-thought-out design that is a joy to cook & entertain in while you watch the skiers going down the front face of the mountain. The wood furniture was handcrafted right in Kimberley, B.C. and is custom made for the condo. There are beautiful HEATED slate stone floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and hardwood in the living area on the main floor, which also includes a half bathroom and washer and dryer. The main floor also has an electric fireplace, and AIR CONDITIONING complete with a flat-screen cable TV, with Bluetooth soundbar as well as NETFLIX and Disney+ included! Upstairs you will find 2 LARGE bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with in-floor heating throughout. Both bedrooms have wall heaters AND Air Conditioning. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed and a double pull-out hide-a-bed, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a full en-suite bathroom. The ironing board and iron are also located in the large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed, bunk bed that has a double bed, single top bunk as well as a single trundle bed. Children’s stories and board games make this room complete!

There is one designated HEATED underground parking stall in the secure parkade as well as ample exterior parking.

Things To Do in Kimberley

At an impressive elevation of 1,110m/3,642ft, Kimberley's altitude, often sunny skies and an impressive amount of snowfall (Annual average of 400cms – 13 feet) it's a favoured ski/snowboard destination in the Kootenay Rockies.

Skiing and golfing are the primary reason many visitors come to Kimberley but there is so much more to discover including hiking, nature walks, endless paved biking pathways such as the 40 km Rails to Trails path which connects Kimberley to Cranbrook, Nordic trails, fishing, rafting, 1,800 acres Kimberley Nature Park, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing barely touch the surface of things to do. Lussier Hot Springs is 60-minutes from the condo and is an amazing sight to see (and feel). Marysville Falls provides a perfect photo ‘op’ on a short, beautiful 10-minute hike, just minutes from the condo.

A walk down the downtown pedestrian walkway known as the “Platzl” is home to Canada's largest freestanding cuckoo clock, a must-stop candy store, numerous boutiques, eateries and of course the Kimberley City bakery. Spirit Rock Climbing Center is also found on the Platzl and just a block away you can go back in time and take a train ride on Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway.

The drive out to Kimberley is spectacular and it is also accessible by air via Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the new Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) located between Cranbrook and Kimberley, BC.

Challenge yourself in a round of golf at several championship courses including Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf Club, St.Eugene Mission, Cranbrook Golf Club, Wildstone, Shadow Mountain, or the friendly Mission Hills.

The UPPER level has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with the private hot tub on the back deck. Master suite is very generous in size and amenities... full bath, awesome view of the Rockies, king-size bed, sofa (plus queen sofa-sleeper), 42in HDTV, full size closet, desk and chair plus full dresser. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, 42in HDTV, full size closet and storage chest plus full bath off the hallway. Full sized washer and dryer are also on the upper level. Access to the hot tub is thru the upstairs hallway.

LOWER level provides street & garage access plus extra hooks for jackets and a bench..

Our unit can sleep up to 7 in beds and up to 10 including sofa beds. This is a non-smoking and no-pets home. Furniture was custom designed and produced locally with the wood pieces from Tree Fever which was in downtown Kimberley.

The unit can sleep up to six (6) guests *if both sides are being used.

Side A includes a queen bedroom, a full bathroom, a well-appointed kitchen with dishes and cookware, a living room with a TV and gas fireplace, and a private balcony with a BBQ.

Side B is an adjoining lock-off hotel-style room that includes two queen beds, a TV and a second bathroom (these are locked off when two (2) guests book but unlocked when three plus (3+) guests book, at an additional fee automatically added by VRBO).

The complex has a newly renovated pool (open May long weekend to September long weekend) and a year-round hot tub for hours of fun!

Please note that this condo is on the 3rd floor of the complex and is only accessed via stairs and that the entire complex is smoke-free and pet-free.
