Our home has central air conditioning if the higher elevation mountain breezes don't cool you down enough in the evening.

Dining table seats eight (8) comfortably and the kitchen bar, or games table, can seat four more. The main level guest bedroom sleeps three (3) in one full size bed and one twin size bed. Includes 20in flat screen TV/DVD, full closet and storage chest. Full size Sofa Sleeper in living area. Out front towards the Rockies is the covered outdoor balcony with gas grill and outdoor dining table.

The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, 42in HDTV, full size closet and storage chest plus full bath off the hallway. Full sized washer and dryer are also on the upper level. Access to the hot tub is thru the upstairs hallway.
LOWER level provides street & garage access plus extra hooks for jackets and a bench..
Our unit can sleep up to 7 in beds and up to 10 including sofa beds. This is a non-smoking and no-pets home. Furniture was custom designed and produced locally with the wood pieces from Tree Fever which was in downtown Kimberley.

HOT TUB ON THE BACK DECK!!
We are located right downtown, half a block from the Kimberley Platzl. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores and pubs. The entrance to the new 28k paved bike path connecting Kimberley to Cranbrook, the swimming pool and arena are all just blocks from the house. The ski hill, Nordic trails and the Kimberley Nature park are all within a 5 minute drive.
The house is 2700 sq ft of living space with a carport and has been fully renovated including granite countertops and hardwood floors. There are two great decks; the front deck over looks Mark Creek; the 2nd deck is 20ft by 24ft great for a BBQ or Entertaining.

The townhouse is approximately 1800 sq ft on 3 floors with 5 bedrooms: (i) 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom on the upper level, (ii) kitchen, dining and great room with a real wood burning fireplace on the main floor, and (iii) 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom on the lower walkout level.
Recently renovated (2021) with outstanding bathrooms with tile and quartz - modern kitchen with new stove and fridge, dishwasher, garburator and maple cabinets and pantry. Dining room table with extension will seat 8-10 guests comfortably. Exceptional wall unit in great room with large smart TV and Internet. Open raised ceilings give feeling of spaciousness and lots of light.
The back deck includes rattan furniture and an outdoor table that will seat 8 guests, a swing and a propane table fire pit and large BBQ.
This family friendly townhouse is located on the ski hill. This is an all-season location with lots of options: walk to the ski hill - drive to Trickle Creek golf (less than 5 minutes) - and spend your evenings on the back deck with a glass of wine. There are 5 exceptional world-class golf courses within a 30 minute drive. The Kimberley Leisure Centre offers family swim times in a heated indoor pool.

The apartment is a tastefully decorated newly converted medical clinic in downtown kimberley with a view of the ski hill from all the front windows.It boasts the largest patio in kimberley and also has private parking with 2 parking spaces. Despite it being on the second floor the entrance is level with the parking lot at the back with only one step.The foyer is large and has room for skis or golf clubs and any gear. 3 equally sized bedrooms with queen sized beds a closet in each room. Each bed has high end linens, extra pillows and blankets.. 2 full bathrooms. Bathroom #1 has a very large tub ventless washer/dryer and a view of the ski hill. Bathroom #2 has a rain shower. Open concept kitchen dinning and living room with an amazing view. Kitchen has a Kureig, french press, pots pans, sub zero fridge freezer, induction stove/ oven, dishwasher, dinner setting for 8, salt and pepper. The 1,200 square foot patio seats 10 comfortably at the table many lounge chairs and a fire table. Everything is new in this perfectly located apartment.

This house is as close as it gets to being brand new. With an open floor plan, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, everything you need for a perfect winter ski vacation is here. Located just 100 meters from the base of the hill, it offers a mountain escape while being close to the action.
Being a stand alone house, your vacation can truly be about family as you relax in your own hot tub (not pictured, it is located at the back of the property with unobstructed views of the ski hill).
The spacious kitchen allows for costs to be kept low, but if you don't feel like cooking, town is just a 15 minute walk down the peak to platzl path or 100 meters to the on hill restaurant.
Need the kids to go do something. The playground is 100 meters from the house.
Why rent an apartment with everyone falling over each other when you can have your own space and relax together.
This is a no parties, no smoking, no vaping property. We provide our house to people looking to enjoy the mountains and the outdoor lifestyle. Please book elsewhere if you wish to party.

Situated right on the bottom of the mountain, you get the best of being downtown and being close to the alpine resort!
You are right in the downtown Platzl, so you walk out your front door to all the best restaurants and bars. Still though, the place is very quiet and calm. The neighborhood is the best spot to be at in town!
It's easy to walk anywhere in town. We are exactly at the base of the mountain. Also walkable, but up hill, so recommended to drive up the mountain.
Only guests included on the reservation are allowed on the property. No outside guests, parties, smoking indoors, or pets permitted.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS & BATHROOMS
With five bedrooms and four baths, there’s no doubt everyone in your party will find their own comfortable space to claim. There is eight individual real beds/sleeping surfaces. We are not set up for groups of 12 individual guys, sorry.
On the main level, the main bedroom has a king bed with a dresser and nightstands. The washroom offers dual vanities, a bathtub and a walk-in shower.
The second level has two carpeted guest rooms, each with a queen bed and one twin day bed. These bedrooms share a hall bath with a tub/shower.
The lower level of the home features two guest rooms, one with a double bed and a twin bunk bed and the second with a queen bed plus a twin day bed. These bedrooms share the lower level bath with a tub and walk-in shower.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES
If you close your eyes, it’s easy to picture the warm, soothing bubbles of the hot tub massaging weary muscles. When you manage to emerge, it’s time to enjoy the downstairs natural gas fire while kicking back with some TV.
We provide off-street parking for up to 4 vehicles including the double-car garage.
Our property backs onto a very private forest full of larch trees and pine.
Simply Kimberley operates a fleet of five charter vehicles and we're happy to provide airport transfers, dinner shuttles and golf group movements. We've become well-known as Kimberley's finest tour operator specializing in packaging with our company-owned and managed vacation rentals.
The Woods is a pet-friendly with the signing of our Pet Policy and our $25/night/pet surcharge. Please contact us if you'd like to bring your dog. Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair-friendly.
Our home is NOT a “party home”. Quiet hours of 10PM - 7AM is well signed and must be respected, as we have full-time residential neighbours next door. If you're looking to party, please do not book with us. The Woods is amazing for families, couples and groups of 8 golfers but it is NOT permissible to book groups of 12 guys here, please. We have other options in our portfolio - please just contact us.
As per City of Kimberley Good Neighbor Bylaw No. 2671, noise from the outside Hot tub and Deck areas must not affect the surrounding property owners' ability to enjoy their space. This applies 24/7 during your stay. Bylaw also states that QUIET TIMES are between 10 pm to 7 am. All outside noise must be brought inside the house during these hours. You will see our Quiet Time reminders
DECIBEL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR OUTDOOR AREAS:
The outside patio and deck areas of this property are equipped with the Minut decibel monitoring system. These systems are increasingly common in short term rental properties. The system monitors sound levels and occupancy while protecting guests' stay and privacy. This system does NOT record sound or conversation. Guests will be notified remotely if sound levels exceed reasonable sound thresholds and threshold levels are lowered during Quiet Time hours.

You are right in the downtown Platzl, so you walk out your front door to all the best restaurants and bars. Still though, the place is very quiet and calm. The neighborhood is the best spot to be at in town!
It's easy to walk anywhere in town. We are exactly at the base of the mountain. Also walkable, but up hill, so recommended to drive up the mountain.
Only guests included on the reservation are allowed on the property. No outside guests, parties, smoking indoors, or pets permitted.

Stemwinder Drive is the main entrance to the Kimberley Alpine Resort base area. Note, you can cross-country ski from the back door over to the Trickle Creek golf course where XC skiing is permitted. In summer, it's a 5-minute walk to Trickle Creek Golf Course although most of our golf groups choose our golf-shuttle option.
Most guests arrive by car. However, if you’d like a private shuttle, our transportation business, Resort Tours and Transportation, provides charter transportation from YXC, YYC or FCA (Kalispell). In summer, our primary clientele is golf groups who enjoy our packaged green fees with our daily shuttles.
The Stemwinder Solar Lodge has access to the neighbouring paths and 160+ km of biking and hiking trails. The property itself is accessed through the front door (with wheelchair ramp), ground-level back entrance or the single-car garage.
This lodge has a serious “WOW” factor. You step into a huge entrance room through the french door front entrance complete with front entryway common washroom. Drop your footwear and head into the main lodge with kitchen and living space with wood-burning stove. After a long day of golf, skiing or mountain biking, retire to the bubbling jets of the hot tub on the back deck. When it’s time to retire roll on upstairs, open your bedroom window and you’ll hear peace and quiet of the Purcell Mountains whispering your name.

A free mountain to town ski hill shuttle is available during winter operated by the City of Kimberley. Our sister-company, Resort Tours runs a fleet of charter vehicles available for private charter.
Kimberley's largest vacation rental - the Stemwinder Solar Lodge. This custom-finished, 5000 sq foot lodge is 500m from the main chairlift, across the street from the Trickle Cr. golf course. It's the perfect property for large family ski groups in winter and 12-person golf groups in summer. The back deck has an eight-person hot tub plus a brand new, 3-burner Weber natural gas BBQ. You'll bask under the golden larches (of the new mural) while warming by the wood-burning stove!
The Stemwinder Solar Lodge is modelled after a European chalet with eight, private bedrooms. Six of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and a half-bath common area on the main. The former suite (2 bedrooms + 1 bath) has become the games room with a billiard table and access out the french doors to the backyard bocce pit and yard games. In spring 2025, a putting-green style, landscape grass (AstroTurf) was installed in the new 8' by 40' bocce pit/putting green/yard-game zone that was constructed from local-timbers in fall 2024. A fun place to hang out before retreating indoors by 10pm (City of Kimberley noise bylaw).
The main floor hosts the master bedroom with a king bed and a twin bed. This bedroom also has its own private door out to the back deck with the hot tub and BBQ. The upper floor has four bedrooms, each with a private bath. Three of the four upper-floor bedrooms have a king or queen plus a twin bed; the fourth has a single queen. The open common area of the upper floor houses a 6-person card table, and the library shelves are loaded with books and games. The open area also has a sitting area with a 55" + Smart TV with Telus Optik sports package.
The lower-level bedroom (bdrm 6) has a king with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 7 has a double bed, and bdrm 8 has a queen bed. These two bedrooms are in the former basement suite and share a full bathroom. Many of our golf group organizers choose to sleep in these rooms as they're removed from the noise of any late-night gathering upstairs.
The living room has been designed as the ultimate place to relax yet be in the action. A wood-burning stove for both heat and ambiance provides a glow to this hang-out space. An absolutely beautiful new dining table was crafted on the West Coast in 2024 and comfortably seats 14-16. The fully equipped kitchen with an island has an additional four seats.
This is a wheel-chair friendly lodge with an accessible entry ramp and wheel-in bathroom and shower on the master, main floor bedroom. The only accessible property on Stemwinder Drive at Kimberley Alpine Resort!
The City of Kimberley is governed by a Good Neighbour Bylaw and our quiet hours of 10 PM - 7 AM must be respected. Stemwinder Drive is a mixed street of full-time residences and vacation rentals. To protect our property and to respect our neighbours, the Stemwinder Lodge is NOT a “party home”. While we encourage our guests to have a good time, please contact us to help rent condos for your group if you're coming to Kimberley to seriously party. We operate with License STRU 2024-005 and are permitted up to 12 adult occupants. We own and/or operate five properties on Stemwinder Drive and thus can accommodate larger groups. Please contact us early as we book up early.
For additional security purposes, the front door's exterior is monitored by an Ecobee Smart Camera doorbell and the back deck has a Minut device installed to monitor and report real-time noise decibel levels. We take our good neighbour's responsibility seriously.

Staring with the communication with the host, to our arrival with the wood burning stove already lit when we arrived, to our entire stay and our eventual departure - everything was top notch. The house was beyond or expectations. It surpassed what was advertised. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of usable space. The new handcrafted dining table is an wonderful feature for large groups to enjoy. Six of the eight bedrooms have nice ensuites, with the last two remaining bedrooms sharing one. The last half bath is conveniently located on the main floor directly by the entrance. Plenty of large comfy chairs and couches surround the matching handmade coffee table. The grand staircase is also an awesome feature of this house. This is an excellent place for multiple families or any large group to relax as they enjoy all that Kimberley has to offer. "

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful neighborhood with a magnificent view. Tiny creek 100 feet away. This unit can be rented separately or rent both halves to make it 4 bdrm with 8 capacity. 12 minute walk to the Platzel that has a variety of cute shops, tap houses and eateries. Included is "Our place", my favorite all day breakfast and "Pedal and Tap" and "The Shed" tie for our favorite dinner and drinks. The grassy back yard is shared. Steep stairs to bedrooms as well as porch steps

Only 4 min drive from the Kimberley Alpine Resort and only metres from local trail networks. Just a short 4-5 min walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.
