The shared space is the main door access mud room. Two lockable doors separate the units. Most likely you will never see us but it is to note we share an entrance with each other. You may hear the footsteps from our golden retrievers.

Easy access to market that has pharmacy, liquor store, gas station, Italian restaurant, bakery and good old Tim’s.

Clean, cosy bedroom with queen sized bed and dresser storage available. You will have your own full guest bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.
If you have additional people to accomodate, there is a double futon as well as a good quality queen airbed. There will be a $25/night charge for additional guests.
There is a cozy family room downstairs for relaxing and watching a movie on Netflix in the evening.

The guest suite is super private with its own entrance and is in a quiet neighbourhood. The large south facing windows make it bright and warm. The back yard is fenced and backs onto a green space with a walking path up through the middle of it which can be accessed through a back gate. The bathroom was updated with a large walk in shower.
There is an umbrella style cloths line which guests are welcome to use. The patio is covered with a double wooden Adirondack style chair to enjoy your coffee or beverage.
We tend to be a quiet house but you may hear the pitter patter of little feet as we look after our grand daughter a couple days a week.

You may park either on the left side of the driveway close to the grass (ok to park behind our truck) or on the street. In summertime we may have our trailer parked on the driveway and in this case you will need to park on the street. Please do not obstruct our garages.
Please access the suite through the gate on the left side of the house then proceed down the grass down the side of the house to the entrance off the small patio. Enter deadbolt code into keypad to unlock door.
We have dogs living upstairs and they are often outside enjoying the backyard. Our dogs are generally friendly but love to bark at strangers. For this reason we have separated the guest space from the rest of the backyard with a small fence and gate (see photos). If you wish to access the walking pathways behind our house please feel free to do so, but please ensure all gates are closed behind you.
Lockable storage is available for your bike or skis/snowboard (on request).

Our bright basement suite includes a half kitchen, half bath with lots of space, a cozy living space with a comfortable pullout couch, and a spacious bedroom. The double bed is extremely comfortable and we have provided DVDs and a WII for a theatrical night. We love dogs so friendly dogs are welcome!

We have two dogs at the house daily. Our short haired rescue, Kauai, is just over a year old and Kyla, the big floof, is about 12 years old. They are both extremely friendly but sometimes bark at the initial arrival but calm down right away. Both are good with other dogs

Note that we have recently finished renovations to put in radiant in floor heating & add an oven/stove. It is also freshly painted with new flooring. The photos in the pictures will change slightly as we add decor and upgrade furniture.

Note there is a large outdoor stairway to get to the suite, so anyone who cannot easily do stairs should avoid staying at our suite for safety purposes.

We live in the main house with our young baby - so you may hear a squeak or a squak here and there.
We also have a small hypoallergenic dog who loves people. We can let her out in the front if you do not want to interact with her. Please let us know.
Note: as of Feb 2024 there are houses being developed in the lot behind us.
There is an oven/stove, but there is no dishwasher in the suite.
A washer and dryer is included in the suite.

You will have full use of the lower level suite, the main level is our residence and not part of the Airbnb.
Please be aware that it is a basement unit is colder than the upstairs. We have provided 3 heaters down there but obviously that is a lot of load on the circuits. We did have an electrician come in and do a little fixing. If the bedroom breakers blow the panel is actual very easily accessible from the airbnb. Due to this simple inconvenience, we have lowered our daily rate for a two bedroom kitchenette
