- "This is the best Ski in/Ski Out location on the hill. The lockers are literally at the base of the hill. Unlike many vacation rentals there is no basic grocery items, for instance there is no salt, pepper, spices, oil etc. The only things there are coffee, tea, sugar, powdered creamers. The dishes were adaquate but sparse, only 3 bowls etc. Housekeeping came in daily, but it seemed all they did was replenish dishwasher tabs and toiletries. Our toilet was visibly dirty, but they did not clean it and there were no supplies there to clean it yourself."

Upstairs you will find 2 LARGE bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with in-floor heating throughout. Both bedrooms have wall heaters AND Air Conditioning. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed and a double pull-out hide-a-bed, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a full en-suite bathroom. The ironing board and iron are also located in the large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed, bunk bed that has a double bed, single top bunk as well as a single trundle bed. Children’s stories and board games make this room complete!

There is one designated HEATED underground parking stall in the secure parkade as well as ample exterior parking.

Things To Do in Kimberley

At an impressive elevation of 1,110m/3,642ft, Kimberley's altitude, often sunny skies and an impressive amount of snowfall (Annual average of 400cms – 13 feet) it's a favoured ski/snowboard destination in the Kootenay Rockies.

Skiing and golfing are the primary reason many visitors come to Kimberley but there is so much more to discover including hiking, nature walks, endless paved biking pathways such as the 40 km Rails to Trails path which connects Kimberley to Cranbrook, Nordic trails, fishing, rafting, 1,800 acres Kimberley Nature Park, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing barely touch the surface of things to do. Lussier Hot Springs is 60-minutes from the condo and is an amazing sight to see (and feel). Marysville Falls provides a perfect photo ‘op’ on a short, beautiful 10-minute hike, just minutes from the condo.

A walk down the downtown pedestrian walkway known as the “Platzl” is home to Canada's largest freestanding cuckoo clock, a must-stop candy store, numerous boutiques, eateries and of course the Kimberley City bakery. Spirit Rock Climbing Center is also found on the Platzl and just a block away you can go back in time and take a train ride on Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway.

The drive out to Kimberley is spectacular and it is also accessible by air via Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the new Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) located between Cranbrook and Kimberley, BC.

Challenge yourself in a round of golf at several championship courses including Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf Club, St.Eugene Mission, Cranbrook Golf Club, Wildstone, Shadow Mountain, or the friendly Mission Hills.

Master suite is very generous in size and amenities... full bath, awesome view of the Rockies, king-size bed, sofa (plus queen sofa-sleeper), 42in HDTV, full size closet, desk and chair plus full dresser. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, 42in HDTV, full size closet and storage chest plus full bath off the hallway. Full sized washer and dryer are also on the upper level. Access to the hot tub is thru the upstairs hallway.

LOWER level provides street & garage access plus extra hooks for jackets and a bench..

Our unit can sleep up to 7 in beds and up to 10 including sofa beds. This is a non-smoking and no-pets home. Furniture was custom designed and produced locally with the wood pieces from Tree Fever which was in downtown Kimberley.

Willow Vistas 6 is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium right on the ski hill. You can walk across the road, clip on your skis and ski down behind McGinty Landings Complex to the Base. If you have small children, this might be tricky for them depending on their ability. There you can get on the Express Quad to the summit. Coming back, simply peel off at the Ski Bridge, ski down behind Purcell Condos back onto Dogwood Drive. There is then a short (1 block) walk back into the condo. We loved the open spacious feel upon entering. The nice bright kitchen (great lighting!) and the large beautiful wooden dining table enhanced all of our dining experiences. The layout of the unit allowed for a “two master bedroom feel” (each of the two bedrooms with its own bathroom) which was perfect for two couples. One of the features we specifically looked for when booking was the private hot tub. Very easy to access and owner was accessible. The place is directly on the hill, so a great location. The place is a bit older but did work out good for us. There is a fair number of stair to get to the condo, so if you have a lot of gear it might take a few trips. The kitchen was small but had everything, we did have a little trouble cooking in the oven, our pizza didn't cook perfectly. We did get to use the hottub as nobody seemed to be using it, which is always a plus. Overall fantastic value and worth checking out, I doubt you can find a hotel room for less and you would still have to drive to the hill."

Willow Vistas 26 is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium right on the ski hill. You can walk across the road, clip on your skis and ski down behind McGinty Landings Complex to the Base. If you have small children, this might be tricky for them depending on their ability. There you can get on the Express Quad to the summit. If you have small children, this might be tricky for them depending on their ability. There you can get on the Express Quad to the summit. Back patio with hot tub and barbecue was awesome, very private!Comfortable beds, which is so important!I had trouble getting in when I arrived (which was totally my fault), but my call for help was responded to very quickly and I was able to get in. Tony was very kind and accommodating on the phone, offering to drive over immediately if we weren’t able to figure out the problem. He then touched base with me the next day to ensure everything was all right.I had a wonderful stay, and would recommend this place to anyone wishing to travel to Kimberley!"

This unit can be rented separately or rent both halves to make it 4 bdrm with 8 capacity. 12 minute walk to the Platzel that has a variety of cute shops, tap houses and eateries. Included is "Our place", my favorite all day breakfast and "Pedal and Tap" and "The Shed" tie for our favorite dinner and drinks. The grassy back yard is shared.
