The kitchen opens into the family room with a smart TV. Just around the corner are two bed rooms and a newly remodeled bathroom. Now offering outdoor pool rental and electric bikes!

We have put a lot of thought and care into this space to make it a special get-away for you! Our new granite-and-tile kitchen has a deep sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and a single burner for you to use, as well as basics like pots and pans, oil, butter, spices and salt and pepper. We have also included a new Keurig coffee maker and our favorite teas/hot cocoa for you to enjoy (as well as cream and sugar).

The sleeping area is well stocked with new bedding and furniture! In the picture you can see the king bed and full sized pull-out sofa bed (these two sleep 4 total). Just down the hall there is another bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed. In addition, we have a twin sized pull out mattress for the floor and a Pack n Play for a baby or toddler. We are also happy to provide sheets, blankets and a pillow for the couch. This means we can sleep 8 adults and 1 baby/toddler. Please let us know in advance if you will be needing the additional bedroom, a mattress for the floor, the couch or the Pak n Play.

The over sized master bedroom includes a desk, office chair, and lamp for remote work.

Our family room is well stocked with games (Settlers of Catan, Ticket To Ride, etc.), books, and puzzles for down-time.

There is a large walk-in-closet we used as a mini-room for our small kids to sleep in for naps and at night. Access to the water is down a steep short path; kayaks were provided; boating the river was my favorite part of the experience! However, as the description says, it’s best suited for older kids…there is not an easy grade into the water, or a place for little ones to play; it’s just a ladder down into the deep(ish) water. Great for teens and older to cool down in though! I loved how convenient this place was in terms of location too. We enjoyed our home base being in the country, but we frequented parks in Spokane too. For kids, there is a water park and playground 5 min away, and a wildcat zoo 5 min away as well. Also, the house was super clean, and the hosts went above and beyond to help accommodate a need. We had a great time!"

Finch Arboretum close to downtown Spokane (2.2 miles), major hospitals and the airport (4.6 miles). It’s also close to the Fish Lake Trail if you love to run, bike, hike, or experience the outdoors. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, friends, and a weekend getaway.

The cozy lake front cabin property is located on the pristine Chain Lake, an 80-acre lake in Elk, WA. You can kayak to the water fall on the other side of the lake or fish for rainbow trout, Kokanee, largemouth bass or perch, hike, walk, run, read or nap on the hammock, listen to music, or watch the plentiful deer, turkey or occasional moose swimming across the lake.

The Cabin or berm house (partially underground - acts as A/C) is on our 60-acre magical park like setting property on Chain Lake, an 80-acre lake. You can paddle to the water fall on the other side of the lake or fish for rainbow trout, largemouth bass and perch, hike, walk, run, read or nap under a tree, listen to music, meditate, birdwatch…and if you like to road bike up hilly roads - I am happy to share my favorite routes. We also like to go to Newport or Deer Park to golf.

We are 30 minutes to Priest River (for dinner) 20 minutes to Newport (to shop for groceries, farmers market and one of my favorite clothes store-Shanty) and about 50 minutes to the South Hill in Spokane.

The cabin is a berm house that can comfortably host 4 adults. It stays cool during the summer and cozy warm in the winter. We enjoyed many weekends, summer vacations and holidays in the berm house when our kids were young. Eventually we built a place next door so now we can have company and can share our special place with others.

Since the temperatures were hovering around 90F there was some concerns about there not being AC. Totally unfounded! It was noticeably cooler inside even in the heat of the day. Berm really is cool!! Although the helpful hosts, Renee and Jeff, made us aware of many things to do we just wanted to sit around and relax. We did take time out to watch the deer and geese play, use the handy BBQ to cook, and go sit by the lake and enjoy the stunning views. They have two small dogs that came to say hi a couple of times a day but were quiet and well behaved, not bothering us one bit. Jeff even walked me around the property showing me the fruit tress he's growing and let sample the fruit fresh off the trees. We supplied our food and beverage, everything else was available for us. A great, relaxing holiday is what we wanted and that's exactly what we got. Again, many thanks Renee and Jeff."

The property is a townhome nested on a hill in the trees and contains 2 separate private units.
The entire house you will stay in is a 3 level 2200 sqft custom townhouse with up to 23ft ceilings with 12 ft ceilings throughout. The entrance is located on the first level with a space to leave your coats and shoes. This is a shoe free house and you will find a selection of house slippers for your convenience. The floating staircase (about 20 stairs) will take you to the main level of the house. It contains the living room with an electric fireplace, office area, kitchen, pantry, dining area, laundry room, and bathroom. This floor is an open space concept with indoor\outdoor features. The big 9 ft tall slider will get you out to the 900 sqft furnished upper patio deck equipped with a BBQ. Down in the lower level are the 3 bedrooms. The master (king) contains an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, his and hers sinks, TV and walk-in closet. The second bedroom contains a queen bed, a TV and a closet. The last bedroom is designed for kids and contains a 2 tier bunk bed, a TV, and a closet. A full bathroom equipped with a tub\shower, double sinks and toilet joins those two bedrooms. The downstairs corridor will take you out to another 900 sqft lower deck with a gorgeous view on the pine trees.

The driveway is shared between the 2 units of the townhome. Please be mindful of each other space and do not park on the neighbors property.
