There are two entrances to the house depending on where you park. If you park through the gate you will enter from the back into the kitchen. If you park in front of the gate or on the street you will enter through the front door into the living room. The front door has two steps in front of it. When you enter the front door you are put on the main floor which includes the living room with a sectional, flat screen TV, and another dining room table which can double as a work space. Directly to the left of the front door is the first bedroom with a queen bed. The second door in the bedroom leads to the hallway which includes another bedroom with two twin beds, next to that is a separate full bathroom with complete amenities. The kitchen is at the end of the hallway. It is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a small dining table, and a Keurig Machine with dark roast K Cups. There is a staircase leading downstairs by the back door in the kitchen which goes down to the basement. In the basement, you can find the laundry room. You can also find a large sectional, a large flat screen Smart-TV, and a ping pong table complete with paddles and ping pong balls. In the main floor hallway, there is another staircase that leads upstairs into a hallway where there are two bedrooms; one with a king bed and another with two twins. Each bedroom in the house has a built-in closet place with cupboards and drawers to store clothes and other items. Also upstairs is another full bathroom with all amenities. The house has a fully fenced backyard, a mother in law that is rented full time and a two car garage that is used for storage. The whole property is available for use except the garage and mother in law. Across the street is a large park with a track, playground, picnic area, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a public pool that is very budget friendly. The park is very nice to swim at and picnic in the summer months and in the winter it is the ideal spot for sledding. In the evening, there are many people around the neighborhood who like to stroll around the park with their children and pets. Also right by the park is the Yakima Valley Museum and the Museum Soda Shop.

Please note: there are security cameras located at the front door of the main house, near the back porch of the main house, and on the north facing side of the Guest House. The cameras can only capture exterior images, none face into either house.

The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, creamer, sugar, spices/herbs, cookware, glassware, silverware and dinnerware and coffee maker, everything you may need is provided. Jenny told us later that the pond is stock with fish, but i didn't have my fishing pole. So she came back later and brought a new pole and all the tackle to use, i caught 3 fish for our dinner. Small toaster/airfry oven, hot plate and microwave were all we needed. We used the propane bbq on the deck one night, great amenities here. Heated bathroom floor was an unexpected luxury! Stairs were not a problem for us, but may have been for a handicapped or elderly person. We hope to return someday soon."

Down the stairs on the left side on the outside of my house you'll find your own private entrance to the entire lower level of my home where there is a good size kitchen/ dining area, breakfast bar, pool table, sofa, fireplace, TV, wi-fi, covered patio with patio with dining table and chairs and BBQ and a beautiful view. Kitchen: refrigerator,/freezer, microwave, infection stove top with convection/ toaster oven, diswasher, Elite Keurig, French press, hot pot, teas, coffee pods, a Britta water pitcher in the frig. Some fruit, milk, cereals and pancake mix, a smiley face pancake maker for the kids, syrup, butter, BBQing condiments, pots and pans for cooking. A large box of games for kids and adults available to use.
One dog $25 per day may be allowed but please message me to discuss the type of dog and stay expectations to make sure it works for everyone.
In one private bedroom there is a queen size bed tastefully furnished with a TV. In the other bedroom is a full size bed and a twin bed perfect for 2-3 people and families. There is a roll away bed if needed. A large sofa in the living room with TV and internet. Please note that Kids under 18 are free without extra charge. $20 per night per adult if there are more than 2 guests. ( children 12 and older count as guests).

Please note that my back yard has no fence and has terraces not suitable for small children Also the place is not completely baby proofed such as the outlets etc. There is a high chair available and there is also a travel crib in the bedroom for infants.

Parking is limited. 1-2 cars allowed. The stairs leading to unit are rustic and you must be able bodied to climb stairs. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM. You can visit outside on the patio after 10 though as that doesn’t bother me!I live upstairs so this is important to follow.

- "The house was a fun place with a cool retro vibe. Old magazines, records, reel-to-reel tapes, and a kitchen that reminded me of my grandparents. While nostalgic and fun to explore, it also had updated amenities like WiFi, TV, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Great communication with the host who was friendly and helpful. A few notes for future guests: Most of the power outlets are the old two prong, be sure to bring a ground lift adaptor if you need it (there are three prong outlets available in the living room and kitchen, just not in the bedrooms) The downstairs is a separate rental, and while we didn't have any issues with the other renters, you could hear them a bit when one of them had several sneezes in the evening. We also received a food delivery that was intended for them, but I was able to catch the delivery person before they drove away...hopefully that got all sorted out. We didn't know how to contact them or find the entrance to the downstairs area. No on-site laundry, pack accordingly. For us it was a fun, short stay in a nice Yakima neighborhood near restaurants, family and groceries."

The living room is furnished with a white leather sectional and accent chair for encouraged relaxation and piano. You can also watch movies on a smart TV with Blu-ray player, Netflix or stream your favorite movies via our free Wi-Fi, now it’s time to relax and enjoy. The dining room is open to the kitchen area with a secretary desk. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices/herbs, cookware and dinnerware everything you may need is provided. One bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom with vanity. Just off the kitchen there is a washer/dryer, hot water heater. You enter home through the single care garage. Room to park max 2 cars off street. No steps into home for those with more limited mobility but doors are not ADA width. Central heat and air conditioning, temp is set in upper level and set to keep both units comfortable with extra space heater/fans as needed. The kitchen window unfortunately goes into garage space.. The unit is pet friendly but doesn’t have a fenced yard for pets. The park is close by short walk less than .4 miles. Please note exterior camera in use

- "I had a lovely stay at Teresa’s home. The location was perfect for our multiple tournament venues in the area. The 2 AC units and fan were a lifesaver during our hot weekend stay (85-95deg), and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though we didn't need or use the back porch and yard, I can see how nice it would be once the yard is fixed up. The front yard is beautiful! The bed in the back bedroom was so comfortable, but the bed in the front bedroom was too hard for me. When the game jersey needed to be washed, it was a plus to have a WD. I recommend staying here to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I plan to stay here every time we’re back in the area for my kid’s tournaments. Cons: Cleaners missed several areas but I’m pretty picky in general. No scissors so we had to go purchase some. The neighborhood was just ok, had several inoperable vehicles that liked to rev their cars including one 7am Saturday morning but that’s no fault of the host. I noticed the blinds weren’t black-out beforehand, so I did bring some nice, large, fancy pieces of cardboard {haha} and that worked just fine."

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Surrounded in the heart of Washington's apple orchards and on-site flower farm. Summers are filled with arm loads of fresh cut flowers, a wide variety of local fruit farms, hiking, local farm to table restaurants, wineries, and brewery's. In the colder months we are about 45 minute drive to White Pass for skiing and snowboarding. Exploring Mount Raineir isn't just for summer adventures. It's beautiful all year around.

This small room is one of our three guest rooms. It has one twin bed, and closet space with hangers. The common areas (kitchen and living room) are available to guests on a limited basis, keeping in mind that we live in the home and are sharing it with guests. The house was built in the 40s, and has been updated over the years. Each guest room has a locking door for guest security.

The space
This small bedroom, with a twin bed, is perfect for someone traveling alone. It is off the kitchen, near a full bathroom (which is shared with guests from one other guest room). There is a keypad lock on the bedroom door for security.

Guest access
There may be one parking spot in the driveway for each guest room, but if not, there is a (narrow) parking strip in front of the house, and ample parking on nearby side streets. We reserve a bit of fridge and freezer space for guest food. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, breakfast nook, and living room.

During your stay
We enjoy meeting our guests when schedules allow. We try to be available by text or phone. We have clearly written instructions for self check in.

Other things to note
This home has three guest rooms. Each room is equipped with a privacy lock.

Guests in this room share a bathroom with guests in one other guest room.

We do allow pets (house broken only), within reason. There is a cleaning fee of $10 per pet. Pets cannot be left unattended on the premises.

This suite is one of our 3 guest rooms. It has a private bathroom, adjoining the bedroom. The common areas (kitchen and living room) are available to guests on a limited basis, keeping in mind that we live in the home and are sharing it with guests. The house was built in the 40s, and has been updated a few times. Each guest room has a locking door for guest security.

The space
Our home is located on a residential street, close to several restaurants, two grocery stores, and a couple of convenience stores. It is a quick walk to the bus stop. Yakima buses run from about 6:30 AM until about 7 PM, and they are reliable and safe.

There is free parking in the driveway for one vehicle for this room. Our living room and breakfast nook are usually available to guests. Guests are welcome to use our microwave and a little bit of room in the fridge.

During your stay
We enjoy meeting our guests when schedules allow. We try to be available by text or phone. We have self check in, and clearly written instructions for those situations.

Other things to note
The bedroom door is locked upon arrival. If you wish to leave it locked (so no one can get in without a code), leave the thumb turn in the horizontal position.

Pet okay (house-broken only). There is a $15 per pet cleaning fee assessed for guests to wish to bring a dog or cat with them. Additionally, guests who bring a pet are not allowed to leave pets unattended on the premises.

This suite is one of the two guest suites in a separate unit. It has its own bathroom. It shares the kitchen area with the other guest suite. The house is close to Rosauers Supermarket Plaza. You will find a comfortable memory foam Queen bed with 100% cotton sheets, an alarmed clock with a USB on the back, basic dishes/utensils, coffee/tea machine, a full kitchen and a combined washer/dryer. You will also find fresh eggs and oatmeal should you decide to cook a little in the morning.

There are free off-street on-site parking. There is a garage parking space when available.

Extra blankets are provided.
Please, if only one guest is staying in the house, use only one room.
Leave used towels and blankets on the floor. Do not make up the used beds as the housekeeper will come and do the laundry.

This unit is a two story with the main floor consisting of the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities and the guest powder room. The upper level has two large bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The living room is furnished with a white leather sectional and accent chair for encouraged relaxation and piano. You can also watch movies on a smart TV with Blu-ray player, Netflix or stream your favorite movies via our free Wi-Fi, now it’s time to relax and enjoy. The dining room is open to the kitchen area with a secretary desk. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices/herbs, cookware and dinnerware everything you may need is provided. Just grab your groceries and you’re set to prepare your favorite home cooked meals. There is a laundry facility in the unit and we supply basic laundering supplies.

Just grab your groceries and you’re set to prepare your favorite home cooked meals. There is a laundry facility in the unit and we supply basic laundering supplies.
The upper level has the two queen size bedrooms equipped with nice bedding and linens, two nightstands with lamps, a dresser and large closets. The bathroom is commonly shared and our bathrooms have a full supply of fine bath linens, body soap, shampoo, condition, and liquid hand soap/lotion, hand held shower heads and hair dryers for the convenience of our guests.
Close to shopping, restaurants and all of the attractions that the Yakima Valley has to offer. Nice private patio.

This home can accommodate 4 guests and it is in a great area to begin your adventure. It is located on the westside within a safe, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the freeway or downtown area within minutes. We have furnished the home with comfortable furnishings that blend nicely with the architecture and encourage relaxation. Everything that you might need for a pleasant stay has been provided.
Upon arrival you will enter entry foyer leading to the living room, kitchen and dining room. The living room is furnished with a large sectional couch and one accent chair for encouraged relaxation. You can enjoy watching movies on a 55” smart TV with blue ray player, free Netflix or stream your favorite movies via our free Wi-Fi. The dining room is open to the kitchen area. A private patio with beautiful back backyard where you can enjoy the bluebirds or view the night lights of the town from the dining room. There is off street parking and this unit is family friendly with child gate, play-n-pack and a highchair. Must climb stairs to enter this duplex home.

Enjoy this comfy two bedroom home to yourself. The home has been recently renovated. It sits on a quarter acre of land (which we are landscaping) with a private fenced front yard and backyard. The home has great lighting and plenty of space to cook your favorite dishes. Upgraded stainless steel appliances as well as brand new washer and dryer. Located in an old but definitely safe neighborhood where you can enjoy family time or simply relax on your own.

The space
In the living room there is wifi and smart TV which has (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+,YouTube, LGTV etc.) I apologize there is no cable TV. Please, remove your shoes at the front door shoe rack.

In the kitchen there are coffee pods available. Brand new stainless steal appliances, dishes, baking sheets, measuring cups, keurig and conventional oven.

In the bathroom, there’s clean towels under the sink ready to use. Feel free to use any of the toiletries and blow dryer. There is no shampoo, conditioner or body wash available.

The two bedrooms have two queen size memory foam mattresses, comfortable comforters and pillows. Plenty of closet space with hangers and one armoire.

The back yard is very big! You are welcome to use it as your own. Please do not park in the backyard. I’m still in the process of landscaping.. Bear with me. :)

* under amenities you will find that air
conditioning is selected because that’s the only option Airbnb has provided. To make it clear, there is TWO air conditioning units; one in the living room and one in the main bedroom window.

* In the spring & summer the sprinkler system comes on 6:30am, 12:30pm, 6:30pm and 9:00pm.

*The home is ran off a well. The water pump is underneath the home. There will be noise once water is running inside the home. Or when pressure is building up. Don’t worry about it-the noise is completely normal :)

* IF THE POWER EVER GOES OUT, DO NOT TURN ON THE WATER, IT WILL DRAIN THE WELL. Contact host if you ever experience power outage.

*check out instructions are very simple- Before you leave, place dirty linen on the floor, leave the living room AC on, lock all the windows, back door and front door. Safe travels!

The space
NOTE: if booking between July and October 2023 there is a chance trucks and machinery will be driving passed the house into the back pasture during business hours as they work on putting in a long awaited trail bridge that will also allow this property to be connected to the beautiful Cowiche Canyon conservancy trail network.

From the outside, SHED's honest form is clad in corrugated metal from an old barn roof where it developed its beautiful matte grey patina after six decades under the Yakima Valley sun.

The interior is light and airy with modern-minimalist Scandinavian design elements, dimmable lighting and a fully functional kitchen complete with quality knives to help prep that fresh Yakima Valley produce.

The tiny house is situated to minimize visual interaction with the other house and shop on the property while maximizing views out into the adjacent pasture but also has pull down room darkening privacy blinds on all windows.

Your visit to SHED provides an authentic tiny house experience. In fact the house is currently parked in the exact same place Samantha and I lived in it for three years and is perfect case study in tiny house living 101.

Samantha and I built this home with our own hands, start to finish. It is not a flawless home but it is a unique one and we aim to make your time here memorable. It is important to us to set appropriate expectations (and then hopefully surpass them!) so we have listed a few 'quirks' of our home in detail below:

Winter notes:

Bring slippers or house shoes as the surface of the floor tends to be chilly because the house is on a trailer.

Any winter hard goods (snowshoes, skis, snowboards, etc…) will need to remain outside or in your vehicle (parking is safe & secure on private property).

We have just replaced the composting toilet with a normal flush toilet!

The underside of the beams in the kitchen are 6'-3" off the floor and the underside of the loft floor is 6'-6" so tall individuals may not appreciate the space.

The stairs are steeper than normal stairs and there is no guard rail on the edge, but there is a handrail on the wall. The loft edge netting is a safety barrier and not for recreation/climbing/hanging.

While the loft bedroom has more clearance than many tiny houses, you can not stand up in it. The deeper than normal top step better facilitates a lean-in entry and there is enough height to sit up-right. The medium-firm bed is a size 'Queen short' mattress [60" wide x 75" long ].
