Q: Why isn’t it allowing me to book just Friday and Saturday and check-out on Sunday? Can I do that?
A: Due to high demand for weekends, we have a 3 night minimum starting on Fridays. You would need to check-in on or before Friday, and check-out no earlier than Monday.

Q: Are there dishes and cooking utensils?
A: We provide plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, silverware, spatulas, pots, pans, cookie sheets, and a cutting board. The kitchen also has a microwave and toaster.

Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Yep! We only invest in safe neighborhoods.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! We provide all of this!

Q: Would we be able to check-in early?
A: Unfortunately, due to the amount of time required to clean the property, I cannot accommodate an early check-in. If you are interested in checking in early, please book the night prior to your stay so that you can check-in as early as you like. We offer the same solution for checking out late: please book an additional night to check-out as late as needed.

Q: I see that you have a guest limit. I’m already at the limit for those who are spending the night, but I also have some family visiting during the day but they won’t be spending the night. Would that be ok?
A: The guest limit includes those who aren’t spending the night. As long as you don’t reach the max limit with those who are in the home at one time, it would be fine.

Q: Do you have an age requirement?”
A: 25 and older is required.

Q: Is there room for additional vehicles? For example, street parking?
A: We can only allow up to 1 vehicles, and we cannot offer street parking due to neighbors. If you have extra vehicles, you may park them at a local grocery store and then carpool back.

Q: Is smoking allowed outside?
A: We cannot allow smoking outside due to the neighbors, or inside the home due to the smell.

🚫 An excessively dirty home will cost additional cleaning fees. Please run the dishwasher and remove all food, groceries, and trash from the home when checking out. Please make sure you do not stain the carpet. If there are lots of carpet stains and/or dishes/food/trash/groceries left behind, or if the home was simply left excessively dirty, you will be charged an additional $1000 cleaning fee.

This wonderful suburban retreat offers a fantastic location and a number of amenities. The back of the property sits next to some greenspace and the Springwater Corridor Trail runs directly behind the home and has 21 miles of paved surface and stretches from Portland all the way to Boring, Oregon.

Upon entry you are greeted with a split level concept where the upper floor boasts an open living and dining layout that sits adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. Just down the hall there is a full bath shared with two of the bedrooms, while the third upper bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The Springwater Escape recently received a number of upgrades and enhancements. Every bit of furnishing and décor is brand new and was curated to help create that perfect blend of comfort and style for your stay.

Descending to the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms and a half bath. There is a second media area with ample seating. Make sure to play some of the preloaded original Nintendo games while listening to the library of vinyl records. When in the mood for something a bit more active, the garage has been converted into an epic game room with a bit of everything. It's loaded with electronic shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, and a GIANT Connect Four. All can be enjoyed by the entire group as there is even more seating and a huge TV to stream whatever you are in the mood for.

The oversized backyard is fully fenced so kiddos and pets can enjoy. You'll find seating on the upper deck while there is a brand new hot tub on the ground level that is a hit with most every group. Don't forget to go for a long or short stroll on the Springwater Trail just behind the home if you are in the mood. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.

As they book more stays, they may want to consider a stronger identifier on the fence so that people not familiar with the property can find it easier. Having to get out of your car to padlock the fence to get in and out of the property is a bit of a pain point. It would be nice to eventually get an automated/electric alternative for that.The main entrance door with the key code is the only way to get in/out of the house (besides the sliding door) and the rest of the doors are dead bolted. This is confusing on arrival, so better directional signage and/or instructions could help.Overall, this property has a ton of potential. Thank you for letting us stay!"

Our home's location is special as it is within a 40 minute drive to the ski slopes of Mt. Our local downtown Gresham is becoming known for a wonderful variety of unique dining experiences and local craft microbreweries, and an amazing farmer's market on Saturday's.
Our clean, bright and cozy and quiet home has 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds. Three bathrooms as well. We have a spacious bright kitchen with plenty of counter space, an open concept living room and new washer and dryer. Our back deck and front covered porch are wonderful for enjoying the Oregon outdoors lifestyle. Our property backs up to green space which creates a quiet setting. Custom-built alongside the Kelly Creek greenspace, this home was designed for ease and comfort - from the two provided massage chairs to the step-free, single-story floor plan.

This home is part of the Kelly Creek neighborhood of Gresham, where it backs up to Ironwood Park's native vegetation and lovely walking trails. It's an ideal location for day trips in every direction, whether you choose to explore Mt. Hood (Mt. Hood Highway is one mile west), the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (six miles north), or Portland's fantastic restaurants, shops, and breweries (16 miles west).

The house is full of large rooms and wide halls and doorways, creating a great space to gather and relax. After a day of exploring or working remotely in the home office (with complimentary WiFi), you can stream movies on the living room's smart TV, play board games at the dining room table, or treat yourself to a personalized massage in one of the two remote-controlled chairs.

Begin each morning with coffee on the back deck overlooking the park, and end each evening in one of three bedrooms. Paired with two full bathrooms, one of which offers a shower seat and grab bars. Central air conditioning and a washer/dryer are provided as well.

Close proximity to everything (groceries, downtown, restaurants, tourist spots). My only real qualms were the lack of tvs (one for the entire house) and no ceiling fans. Overall we were happy with our stay and I would recommend." - "The house had not been cleaned, as promised prior to our arrival. Floors were filthy. Master bath smelled of urine, floor was sticky and dirty. Main bath floors were also filthy, dust and hair in corners. The living room rug had potato chips on it. There was dirty silverware in the drawer, dishes still in dishwasher. The sheets and towels were clean, the countertops, mirrors and inside the fridge had been wiped clean. I spent an hour, mopping floors and vacuuming rooms. I was fortunate to have a friend near by, who lent me a mop and some cleaning supplies. I cleaned the floors, ran all the silverware and dishes in the dishwasher. When i sent pictures to the local team, documenting the filth, they graciously refunded 1/2 of the cleaning deposit. The house is set up wonderfully for A.D.A. which was important for our stay, however, it was not clean as promised upon arrival."

• By Car: The house is easily accessible by car via Highway 26 or I-84. Downtown Portland is about a 25-minute drive (~17 miles) and the airport is around 20 minutes (~13 miles) away. It’s an easy drive to many of the area’s popular destinations.

• Public Transit: If you prefer public transportation, the MAX Blue Line light rail connects Gresham to Portland’s city center. The nearest MAX station is a short drive from the house (with Park & Ride parking available). There are also local bus lines in the area.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are readily available here. A ride to downtown Portland typically takes ~20 minutes, so getting around without a car is still convenient.

Biking/Walking: Take advantage of the nearby Springwater Corridor Trail for car-free travel to local parks and neighborhoods – you can even bike all the way into Portland along this scenic 21-mile path! We love using the trail for morning jogs and family bike rides.

• No parties or events. This isn’t a party house – we enforce quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am to respect our neighbors.

• No smoking. Absolutely no smoking is allowed anywhere on the property.

• For your safety, we have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed (along with other standard safety features). We appreciate guests treating our home with care so everyone can enjoy it.

• The fireplaces add charm but aren't functional — thanks for not using them

While you're just minutes from Gresham, Troutdale, and local shops, rideshare availability may be limited — especially in the evenings or early mornings. If you're visiting in winter, be sure to check mountain road conditions and carry traction devices when heading toward Mt. Hood.

The detached guesthouse included in your stay is fully furnished with a king bedroom, full bathroom, and kitchen.
**Trash and recycling bins are located at the end of the driveway near the street.
If you'd prefer not to carry bags by hand, you're welcome to use the black Gorilla Cart located alongside the house to roll bags down to the end of the driveway. Please return it after use.

I am a former travel nurse and homeowner currently working days from home for Portland Providence Medical Center.

I offer extended stay only, including full contract duration (usually 12 weeks) for folks who are traveling for work, students, relocation, or lengthier visits to the area. You have the option to rent for 1 week or more.

The space
I've had the pleasure of sharing my home with many travelers. Having been a traveler myself I hope to give others a flexible, safe, and comfortable place to stay while away from home.

This rental is priced for extended stay. Former renters have enjoyed the option of renting 1- 24 weeks.

You'll be the only inhabitant upstairs, which includes the bedroom with a private 1/2 bath and a separate sitting/dining room and a dorm style kitchenette.

The kitchen area provides a microwave, fridge, pannini press, personal mini blender, toaster and instant hot water kettle plus Britta water filter
I supply disposable dishes for you as this is a dorm style kitchenette with NO designated sink for washing dishes (other than rinsing cups).
Note: while you have a private 1/2 bath, the shower is on the main floor and shared with just myself.

The apartment is outfitted with:

They will visit unless you do not want to invite them. There is a baby gate at the top of the stairs if you'd prefer they do not. Prior renters have enjoyed their company :)

I also rent an apartment in the basement for extended stay. Currently it is occupied by a physical therapist.

Please note: I do not allow additional overnight guests or visitors.

We are are in a wonderful location to set out for a day of exploring the Columbia Gorge, Mt Hood, the Sandy River, and Gifford Pinchot national forest.

Please note: Before booking, be aware the toilet in this home is a composting toilet, not flushing. It will be clean and ready to use with instructions available in the home.

The space
This warm and cozy guest house sits in a large wildly landscaped yard with fruit trees, herbs, medicinal flowers, flowering eco lawn, and a large veggie garden. New addition near the veggie garden: chickens! We will provide some fresh eggs in the home when available. You may hear them making noise - especially when they’re laying.

The walls and ceiling of the home are knotty pine, giving it an authentic cabin feel. Stairs lead up to a carpeted loft and full size bed that overlook the garden and the interior of the guesthouse. The small couch in the living area converts to a twin bed (spare sheets in ottoman near couch). The kitchen is ready for meal prep with a full size stove, microwave and refrigerator. A pull out table will sit two for a meal or can be used as a small work space. The bathroom has a shower and composting toilet.

There is an overhead fan and a box fan for the upstairs window. There is no AC - which is usually not a problem but the area does experience occasional heat waves during the summer.

Approved occupants and guests are expected to follow the GNG. Be sure to read your rental agreement for additional terms and restrictions as there may be consequences for violating the GNG.

If at any time you have concerns about your stay, please call the 24-hour contact number listed in the guest rental agreement or posted in the unit. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

Be friendly, courteous, and treat your neighbors like you want to be treated. Respect your neighbors and their property.

Overnight occupancy (10pm – 7am) is limited to two-persons per bedroom plus two additional persons. Daytime occupancy (7am – 10pm) is limited to two-persons per bedroom plus six additional persons. The limits are noted on the posted Certificate of Registration.

Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property. Quiet hours are 10pm – 7am.

Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash.

Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage.

The host is required to provide off-street parking for overnight guests – 1 space for every 2 bedrooms (rounded up). Do not park on lawns, or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing.

Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Unattended barking dogs left at the rental are prohibited by City of Gresham Revised code. Control aggressive pets and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems.

Using the Short Term Rental as an event site is not allowed under City of Gresham Revised Code 9.56. Examples of events include, but are not limited to: parties, company retreats, weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc.

Beautiful 1913 vintage bungalow remodeled in 2016 backs to the park and two blocks away from vibrant historic downtown Gresham and the farmers market enjoy access to the park and the Springwater Trail. Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property. Quiet hours are 10pm – 7am.

Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash.

Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage.

The host is required to provide off-street parking for overnight guests – 1 space for every 2 bedrooms (rounded up). Do not park on lawns, or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing.

Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Unattended barking dogs left at the rental are prohibited by City of Gresham Revised code. Control aggressive pets and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems.

Using the Short Term Rental as an event site is not allowed under City of Gresham Revised Code 9.56. Examples of events include, but are not limited to: parties, company retreats, weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc.

Mary and I love hosting people who appreciate a comfortable experience and beautiful space. Our Private Suite is located in an idyllic setting central to all the activities, great food and nature that the greater Portland area is known for, but without the "junk" that comes with being in the city. Short drives to Portland, Mt Hood hiking and skiing, the Columbia River, Multnomah Falls and great entertainment at McMenamin's "Edgefield (15 Min)" and "Grand Lodge" (35 min.). Infants 0-2 welcome.

Additional cleaning fees and or damage will be charged for violation of the rules regarding pets. *Note-The back yard is fully fenced, however there are gaps at the bottom of the gate near the driveway.

Guests have access to entire home, the private back yard, and 2-car driveway. Guests also have full use of the private laundry room. No Guest access to the garage, as it is reserved for the owner. There is a fireplace in the home but it is non-functional, use is for ambiance only.

- No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
- Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
- Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
- We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house-trained dog into our home! We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, as per my listing details. It is an old house at the end of a driveway, normally a quiet place (except when the neighbor is working on the next house).
The house is nice and clean and it has everything to be comfortable except for Air conditioning.
It is not far from Gresham downtown, where you can find, Farmers market on Saturdays and many kinds of food (Italian, Thai, Mexican, Lebanese, etc,.)

There is a patio in the back, large and open so, the wind brings dust and yard debris (leaves and branches) not easy to maintain clean, that's why is not on the pictures because is not included with the house, if you want to use it is fine as long as you leave it as it is, and do not complain about not being so clean

The water in the shower may be reversed or it takes longer to get there, the thermostat for the furnace is behind the TV, dish soap is in the sink dispenser.
There is a TV but no cable only internet, for Youtube or any subscription that you have at home.
The sandals are to be used in the house and they get disinfected every time

This home is part of the Kelly Creek neighborhood of Gresham, where it backs up to Ironwood Park's native vegetation and lovely walking trails. It's an ideal location for day trips in every direction, whether you choose to explore Mt. Hood (Mt. Hood Highway is one mile west), the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (six miles north), or Portland's fantastic restaurants, shops, and breweries (16 miles west).

The house is full of large rooms and wide halls and doorways, creating a great space to gather and relax. This wonderful suburban retreat offers a fantastic location and a number of amenities. The back of the property sits next to some greenspace and the Springwater Corridor Trail runs directly behind the home and has 21 miles of paved surface and stretches from Portland all the way to Boring, Oregon.

The space
Upon entry you are greeted with a split level concept where the upper floor boasts an open living and dining layout that sits adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. Just down the hall there is a full bath shared with two of the bedrooms, while the third upper bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The Springwater Escape recently received a number of upgrades and enhancements. Every bit of furnishing and décor is brand new and was curated to help create that perfect blend of comfort and style for your stay.


Descending to the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms and a half bath. There is a second media area with ample seating. Make sure to play some of the preloaded original Nintendo games while listening to the library of vinyl records. When in the mood for something a bit more active, the garage has been converted into an epic game room with a bit of everything. It's loaded with electronic shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, and a GIANT Connect Four. All can be enjoyed by the entire group as there is even more seating and a huge TV to stream whatever you are in the mood for.


The oversized backyard is fully fenced so kiddos and pets can enjoy. You'll find seating on the upper deck while there is a brand new hot tub on the ground level that is a hit with most every group.
