The process was super easy I just called the front desk and within 15 minutes he was at my door. He was friendly, efficient, and quick, solving the problem with a smile. The accommodations are comfortable and the room was clean. It’s not luxurious, definitely not 5-star accommodation, but it is comfortable, perfectly suitable for the beach, literally steps from the sand ,and has possibly the best view you can get in Cannon Beach. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days, so this house has limited check-in and checkout dates in the summer. We offer discounts for longer stays! You can use the online calendar to make a reservation or give us a call if you have any questions.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: Street parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis; parking is not guaranteed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

- "This place has all the amenities, it is steps from the beach, an easy walk to downtown, and going the other way to Haystack Rock. The kitchen is the kind you can really cook in! But mostly, the house seems like it's been well loved by the owners for years, it is beautiful and idiosyncratic, it's not someone's fourth home or an investment property, it's a real family beach home. They have some good books, too. We love going here, found it initially because of our old dog being welcome. (Sadly, he passed away.) But we keep coming when we can."
