If you feel like driving or hiring a car service, you're in luck. You'll need weeks if not months to tour the wineries and vineyards in the Willamette Valley. You are welcome back anytime!

If you would rather let someone else do the driving, Uber and Lyft can be used. Though they aren't as readily available as they would be in bigger cities, with a little patience you'll still be able to get around.

Trellis is located at the top of the working ten acre acclaimed Baptista Maresh Pinot Noir vineyard in the heart of the Dundee Hills with an unobstructed east view of 80 miles across the Willamette Valley and a dozen named vineyards. The 13 foot high wall of windows of the great room overlooking the valley gives guests the feeling of flying. The panoramic view includes Mt Hood and Mt Jefferson; on a clear day a sharp-eyed guest might even make out the summit of the North Sister, 100 miles away (a telescope is available).

Trellis is a single level, 1900 sq ft. two bed, two and a half bath contemporary home. The large exterior water feature at Trellis’s entry provides a soothing start to your stay. Amenities include a laundry room, superbly-equipped gourmet kitchen, and the great room with the valley view separate the master and guest suites (both with valley and vineyard views) to provide optimal quiet and privacy. Trellis is ADA accessible; the primary suite has a roll-in shower.

The east facing large view deck is perfect for outside gatherings. The home is set against a 660 ft line of 90 mature cedars that increase guest privacy from another vineyard to the north. Guests will occasionally see and hear tractors and workers in the vineyards. There is no overspray near the home and no impact to guests. Landscaping is irrigated, so guests may hear the sprinkler system operate in the early morning or late evening. The north view pad has a separate garden table and chairs mere yards from the Pinot Noir vines. The pad also has three stock tank planters with some herbs that guests may harvest for cooking if desired. There was even a spot for a work area if needed. It’s a 3-4 min drive to Soter winery as well as a walk to Ken wright or Carlton winemakers. Mini grocery store close by. And a patio for bbq. The neighbor next door is very friendly and has a pup herself. She works at Durant winery and had recommendations. All other wineries are within 15-18 min on back roads. I would definitely recommend this property for 2 couples, or 2 friends. I will be planning to stay again. Plus communication was very easy from the get go and the host continued to check in through out our stay which was nice. I live in Portland area so didn’t need as much guidance but if I was from out of town this would have been a great addition. Thank you for letting us stay. We can’t wait to come back."

Your bedroom has a warm and cozy feeling allowing you to relax in comfort on our double bed. Watch TV, rest and enjoy your stay. For peace of mind, this room has a lock and key. In addition, you will have your own private access code to our home's key-less entry.

This room is for one (1) person only.

Your Bathroom is across the hall and is "Almost Private", except on those occasions when we have visitors. Take a nice warm shower or use the tub for a relaxing bath. We have grab bars for your security getting in and out and one inside the shower/tub itself.

We have a comfortable Living Room with a Gas Fireplace.

Please be aware that my Office is across the hall from your bedroom. As such, it has all of the sounds of any office with a phone ringing and people talking. We do try to be quiet, but we can only be so quiet.

Do not bring other people/friends to our home, unless they are part of your booking. Deliveries for orders or packages are allowed between 8:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. daily. Sadly, due to guests thinking deliveries could be made 24 hours a day caused us to limit those hours. We are willing to allow for Special Needs, please ask.

We may have several guests in our home. You must be alright with other guests around.

Large common area with washer and dryer, kitchenette with full sized fridge, table and chairs. Near downtown Salem, close to hospital, Capitol buildings, Bush Park, South Salem High School, and Day Night Donuts.

Spacious room, cozy and comfortable, TV with Dish Satellite TV. Wireless Internet, and a back entrance, with kinda a big step, accesses backyard with patio seating . Free off street parking available .

. Cozy, quiet room in nice home in upscale neighborhood just a few minutes from everything, yet in a wooded neighborhood where you see deer and our pet duck out the window. We mainly rent to travel nurses and medical students. Bathroom is shared with two other nurses. 15 minutes from Salem Hospital.

The space
The basement apartment and this bedroom is vacuumed thoroughly on a regular basis, however as with most basement bedrooms, it is to be expected that occasionally you might see an insect or two.

Please also note that this room has heat, but no AC. Because it's in the basement it doesn't heat up like our upstairs bedrooms do, however it is something to keep in mind.

Basement humidity is actively managed by 2 dehumidifiers, one in the bathroom and one in this bedroom. If staying for longer than a 2 or 3 nights, the bedroom dehumidifier will likely need to be emptied. Hosts are happy to do this for you, or instruct how-to if privacy is requested.
