Downtown is a one mile walk through a cute neighborhood. Restaurants were great and make sure you have a reservation for some. - "Kathryn made sure everything was great for us. They have a new air conditioner which worked really well. We actually had to turn it up, as the cottage was getting cold! Kathryn and John surprised us with homemade chocolate chip cookies, flowers, apples, coffee and on top of that, just a very special and friendly “Welcome to our home!” The cottage is just far enough out of McMinnville that it is extremely quiet, and we enjoyed the local deer in the yard all three mornings of our stay. Cozy LILY Cottage centrally located in Salem, Oregon. Lily Cottage has all the necessities you will need for kitchen, bathroom, living room and outdoor dining area. The cottage has a unique landscape and beautiful scenery. Please be aware during the winter, our leaves have fallen off so it will look a little different. Bonus: Extra loft space upstairs for a peaceful reading nook or an extra twin bed.
The space
There are two bedrooms in the cottage, one has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a full bed. The second bedroom has only a farm door (sliding door). There is a loft upstairs as well that is open and has a twin bed.

Games available such as, Monopoly, Uno, Chess, Cranium, Dominos, Cards & random interesting books!
Guest access
You will have access to Lily Cottage through the front gate only. The back is reserved for Rose Cottage Parking.
Other things to note
There is another cottage on the property - "Rose Cottage". This cottage is completely separate from Lily and it has its own entrance. You will not have any shared spaces in the outdoor area, there is a private fence to separate the properties.

About this property

This little cottage home has everything you would want or need for the perfect holiday vacation or extended stay, depending on what brings you to Salem. This home is newly built, so all appliances and furnishings are fresh and new. It features quartz countertops, gas stove, 55” smart TV. Upstairs there is a beautiful bathroom with a vanity mirror surrounded by makeup lights and a walk-in shower. The bedroom includes a king-size bed, large walk-in closet and a dedicated workspace. Also upstairs is a new stacking washer and dryer. This little cottage also includes a 1 car garage accommodating a small vehicle.

It was so nice to have this heaven to come back to after each event. There are so many homey and thoughtful thoughtful touches. We arrived on the 4th of July and all they neighbors welcomed us with about 3 hours of professional grade fireworks. Outside chairs in backyard were perfect for morning coffee. We would definitely stay here again. Host was responsive and helpful."

Walking inside, you will instantly take notice of the open-concept layout. The spacious living room is the heart of the home with its river rock fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Kick back and stream your favorite TV shows or movies, or tune into your remote work projects at the designated desk space.

The adjacent full kitchen makes cooking a breeze with its suite of stainless steel appliances, ample meal prep space, and coffee station. When you want to escalate your cooking, fire up the grill available on the home's expansive deck.

The bedrooms are equally comfortable with their soft fixtures and high-quality linens - ensuring a good night's rest each evening. A private washer/dryer rounds out the home's stellar interior perks.

-The wood-burning stove is not available.
In mid to late august, blackberries ripen and abound in the area. Just beware of the prickly berry branches.

Security camera details: There is one camera on the barn, and a doorbell camera on the main house.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
