Cleanliness well, things were wiped down but not cleaned. New construction, maybe a couple of years ago. Areas nice but you'll have to climb up a steep hill to reach the stores and restaurants. Can't believe that all the reviews I saw were 5 stars and the one 4 star review was the only one that mentioned the loft bed. Definitely a major safety concern unless you're in good overall condition. Owners were on site and helpful with the one interaction I had with them. Also no storage area for personal items except for 5 hangers in a open closet. There is a bed under the couch in the living space if you can't make the climb but opening it up will take up the entire living area. Frankly, just didn't get the whole thing. Compared to other options, take them not this. Regretfully submitted."

Olympic View Cottage is shared property and the host lives on the property adjacent to the cottage. However, everything you are offered is completely separate from the host. You are the only guest in the cottage, with a private entrance, hot tub and deck.
All of this overlooks the spectacular Puget Sound views.

The hot tub is on your own private deck. Hosts (Dave or Eileen) will need to enter the cottage once a day for hot tub maintenance. If guests decide not to leave for the day then we can provide instructions on how to maintain the hot tub with the appropriate chemicals. Hot tubs need to be maintained daily for cleanliness and sanitization. This is what we do for the health and safety for all our guests. Because we do this the hot tub has always been in working condition for current and future guests.

Every other day we change towels out, replenish coffee, and take the garbage out.

When we check our guests in there is a lot of information to go over and a lot for the guest to remember so we have it all documented in our “Guest Book” located in the cottage. You will also find information and menus on local restaurants, wineries, bars, and grocery stores.
