- "This property is a dream!" - "Stayed for new years and had a great stay! The facility is brand new with immaculate attention to detail and design. Property: Common rooms with kitchen amenities were great. The staff put out snacks for the evening (kettle corn and cookies) and set up a nice breakfast in the morning (ham, eggs, pastries, coffee, and fresh juice). The farm is beautiful and can see the cows and animals from property and rooms, also have walking trails. On clear days you can see my hood (we didn’t see as it was cloudy). Room: great space, pictures don’t do justice. Comfy beds (sheets could be a bit softer but we’re still nice). Tea and coffee were included as well as local snacks which was delicious. View from room is relaxing and gorgeous, little oasis bunker. Area. Carlton is a nearby by town with restaurants and bars (ate at earth and sea which was good). Also 15 from McMinnville, go check out the owners sister restaurant Humble Spirt which as fantastic. All in all a great stay and will return. "

This sweet little 1 bed, 1 bath cottage can be found in the center of Salem. Located in an alley behind the main house, it's completely separate with it's own private driveway and entrance. It's only a 5 minute drive to get to I-5, downtown, Willamette University, or the State Hospital and only a 15 minute drive to any other part of Salem or Keizer.

The space
The cottage is 430 sq ft with one bedroom, one bathroom, and a full sized and fully stocked kitchen. The bedroom has a queen Tempur-pedic bed, as well as a large dresser and a closet for clothing storage. The living room has a table for eating or working, a futon couch (that also folds flat into an additional sleeping surface if needed), smart tv, wifi, Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime, movies, games, books, Blutooth stereo, and frisbee discs to take to the nearby frisbee golf park, among other things, to make it your ideal home away from home.

Guest access
The cottage is located on the same property as the main house but is completely separate. The entire cottage along with it's private driveway, and small yard are for the sole use of the cottage guests. The hosts are conveniently located next door should you need anything.

Other things to note
The bathtub/shower is raised. It may be difficult for people with mobility issues to access.

The cottage does not have its own address and therefore does not get mail delivered to it.

Very close to down town, Willamette University, fair grounds & State buildings which is only one mile away. Parking in driveway closest to my back door neighbor is provided. Small side yard.

Our guesthouse is an ADU (accessory dwelling unit)—that is, a private, separate structure on our property with one bedroom (Q-size bed), full bathroom, full kitchen, and living/dining area. The small sofa opens to a double bed and the ottoman opens to a cot-sized bed; however, neither is comfortable for adults ;-/ There’s a small porch for sipping lemonade and plenty of parking. Our guesthouse is located at the back of our property, with a privacy fence separating it from our backyard. The guesthouse is accessed via a gravel driveway along the side of the house. There is plenty of parking directly next to the guesthouse.

Although the guesthouse is one level, you need to climb 4 stairs to enter the unit.

As you depart, we ask you to run the dishwasher and start the laundry (sheets, towels). This eliminates the need for our housecleaner to wait around just waiting for the dryer to finish and allows us to keep our cleaning fee low. No pets/animals. No smoking.

Welcome to the Cottage! This ~216 square foot cottage overlooks a restored barn on a rural 5-acre property located in the farmlands of Oregon's central valley. Enter the detached cottage through your own private door to find a memory foam-covered queen bed, your own closet and private bathroom with hot shower, a small refrigerator, hot water kettle and basic tea/coffee-making facilities. This updated cottage is perfect for those who want a peaceful, countryside retreat with modern amenities.

The space
We welcome you to our rural retreat, surrounded by local wineries and farmland. This historic property was settled by the Williams family in the 1800s, and a WWII-era home and restored barn grace the property along with a greenhouse, extensive garden, fruit trees and hazelnut orchard.

Guest access
Guests have their own updated private cottage detached from the main home, though we welcome you to share the deck and stroll around the yard and garden (though please check with us before harvesting). There are gravel parking spaces for your vehicle just outside the cottage, and we are happy to give you a quick tour of the barn should you be interested!

Other things to note
Please note that there are horses on the property. While guests are welcome to say hi from a distance, please do not enter the enclosure, feed or pet the horses. We want to keep both guests and animals safe.
