Guest access
Guest may have access to the entire guesthouse. The deck of our house may be used for barbecuing and for smokers. Guest will be given a key. If the key doesn't unlock it then you don't have access.
Enjoy the Pacific Northwest while relaxing in our cozy studio space, located above our detached garage. A comfortable queen bed, Roku TV, luxurious shower and a well-stocked kitchenette await your visit. We are located on a quiet, family friendly residential street, in the shade of an old Cedar tree. The studio is 16 miles from the airport and well situated for day outings to Mt. Hood, the Columbia Gorge, the Sandy and Clackamas rivers, and the city.
The space
The space includes a queen bed, kitchenette, small dining space, and a queen -sized hide-a-bed couch with a brand new memory foam mattress. The kitchenette includes a new toaster oven, hot plate, and microwave with all the utensils needed for basic food prep.
Our space features a rare open-concept bathroom, with a curtain that can be drawn for privacy while showering.
We are well located to enjoy the diverse attractions, hikes, rivers, restaurants and scenic areas of the Portland/Mt. Hood/ Gorge area.
25 - 35 min to Portland International airport and inner Portland.
25 min to the Gorge, waterfalls and scenic hikes.
45 min to Mt. Hood trails, skiing, snowshoeing and lakes.
10 min to downtown Gresham restaurants and shops.

You will have access to the studio guesthouse through your own private entrance on the side of the garage. You may let yourself in through the lock keypad. Our driveway can accommodate up to two guest cars.
Other things to note
There are a flight of stairs leading up to the guesthouse that are somewhat steep.

The space
This cozy unit presents 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen featuring a double cooktop range, countertop airfryer/toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full-size refrigerator. There is an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.
We provide starter toiletries and kitchen essentials (paper towel, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, etc.).
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire unit except the pantry closet. The pantry closet is locked and will be accessible by the host only.
Other things to note
The ADU is connected to the main house, with the kitchen being the only shared wall. Despite this connection, it boasts complete autonomy with its private entrance and a fenced backyard for your exclusive use. Please note that there may be occasional mild noise from the main house, which is occupied by a long-term tenant.
A valid photo ID is required upon confirmed booking for verification purposes. The ID must match the name of the individual who made the booking, and this person must reside at the property for the duration of the stay. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
