This wonderful suburban retreat offers a fantastic location and a number of amenities. The back of the property sits next to some greenspace and the Springwater Corridor Trail runs directly behind the home and has 21 miles of paved surface and stretches from Portland all the way to Boring, Oregon.

Upon entry you are greeted with a split level concept where the upper floor boasts an open living and dining layout that sits adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. Just down the hall there is a full bath shared with two of the bedrooms, while the third upper bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The Springwater Escape recently received a number of upgrades and enhancements. Every bit of furnishing and décor is brand new and was curated to help create that perfect blend of comfort and style for your stay.

Descending to the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms and a half bath. There is a second media area with ample seating. Make sure to play some of the preloaded original Nintendo games while listening to the library of vinyl records. When in the mood for something a bit more active, the garage has been converted into an epic game room with a bit of everything. It's loaded with electronic shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, and a GIANT Connect Four. All can be enjoyed by the entire group as there is even more seating and a huge TV to stream whatever you are in the mood for.

The oversized backyard is fully fenced so kiddos and pets can enjoy. You'll find seating on the upper deck while there is a brand new hot tub on the ground level that is a hit with most every group. We enjoyed the Fire Pit and access to the park, through the gate. Generous kitchen space and plenty of dishes. Also appreciated the potted plants, trees and other plants on the property. Cool 70’s vibes inside and it really fits the flavor of Portland. We had more than enough space/beds/baths to accommodate our family comfortably.The house is situated next to a park, and it looks at the backyards of the houses adjacent to it. The other side of the house is private and has a beautiful fire pit area.It is a difficult property to find because it has a chain link fence around it with a padlock to get inside. As they book more stays, they may want to consider a stronger identifier on the fence so that people not familiar with the property can find it easier. Having to get out of your car to padlock the fence to get in and out of the property is a bit of a pain point. It would be nice to eventually get an automated/electric alternative for that.The main entrance door with the key code is the only way to get in/out of the house (besides the sliding door) and the rest of the doors are dead bolted. This is confusing on arrival, so better directional signage and/or instructions could help.Overall, this property has a ton of potential. Thank you for letting us stay!"

Our home's location is special as it is within a 40 minute drive to the ski slopes of Mt. Hood, 30 minutes to downtown Portland and 10 minutes to the Columbia Gorge and some of the best hiking in our state. Our local downtown Gresham is becoming known for a wonderful variety of unique dining experiences and local craft microbreweries, and an amazing farmer's market on Saturday's.
Our clean, bright and cozy and quiet home has 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds. Three bathrooms as well. We have a spacious bright kitchen with plenty of counter space, an open concept living room and new washer and dryer. Our back deck and front covered porch are wonderful for enjoying the Oregon outdoors lifestyle. Our property backs up to green space which creates a quiet setting. Custom-built alongside the Kelly Creek greenspace, this home was designed for ease and comfort - from the two provided massage chairs to the step-free, single-story floor plan.

This home is part of the Kelly Creek neighborhood of Gresham, where it backs up to Ironwood Park's native vegetation and lovely walking trails. It's an ideal location for day trips in every direction, whether you choose to explore Mt. Hood (Mt. Hood Highway is one mile west), the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (six miles north), or Portland's fantastic restaurants, shops, and breweries (16 miles west).

The house is full of large rooms and wide halls and doorways, creating a great space to gather and relax. After a day of exploring or working remotely in the home office (with complimentary WiFi), you can stream movies on the living room's smart TV, play board games at the dining room table, or treat yourself to a personalized massage in one of the two remote-controlled chairs.

Begin each morning with coffee on the back deck overlooking the park, and end each evening in one of three bedrooms. Paired with two full bathrooms, one of which offers a shower seat and grab bars. Central air conditioning and a washer/dryer are provided as well.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Close proximity to everything (groceries, downtown, restaurants, tourist spots). My only real qualms were the lack of tvs (one for the entire house) and no ceiling fans. Overall we were happy with our stay and I would recommend." - "The house had not been cleaned, as promised prior to our arrival. Floors were filthy. Master bath smelled of urine, floor was sticky and dirty. Main bath floors were also filthy, dust and hair in corners. The living room rug had potato chips on it. There was dirty silverware in the drawer, dishes still in dishwasher. The sheets and towels were clean, the countertops, mirrors and inside the fridge had been wiped clean. I spent an hour, mopping floors and vacuuming rooms. I was fortunate to have a friend near by, who lent me a mop and some cleaning supplies. I cleaned the floors, ran all the silverware and dishes in the dishwasher. When i sent pictures to the local team, documenting the filth, they graciously refunded 1/2 of the cleaning deposit. The house is set up wonderfully for A.D.A. which was important for our stay, however, it was not clean as promised upon arrival."

**Kitchen & Dining:**
The 2 fully-equipped gourmet kitchens is a chef’s dream, complete with modern stainless-steel appliances, expansive countertops, and all the cookware you need to prepare delicious meals. There’s plenty of room for multiple cooks, so meal prep can be a fun group activity.
Formal dining room seats 12 people, nuke table seats 6 people, additional seating at the two kitchen islands.

For those who love to grill, step outside to the balcony, grills are located on both balconies where you’ll find a BBQ area and outdoor dining space. It's perfect for summer cookouts and enjoying meals under the stars.

**Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna:**
Step into your private backyard oasis, where relaxation is at its finest. Take a dip in the sparkling pool (seasonal), soak in the bubbling hot tub, or unwind in the sauna after a day of adventure. The pool area is surrounded by comfortable loungers, making it easy to bask in the sun or enjoy an afternoon nap. With these amenities, your relaxation and rejuvenation are guaranteed. We keep our pool open seasonally for the summer and will be closed in the cold months of fall, winter, and spring.

👉Garbage pick-up day: Wednesday early in the morning. Please, put the trash cans outside on Tuesday evening/ night. Garbage and recycle cans are located next to the garage.

• By Car: The house is easily accessible by car via Highway 26 or I-84. Downtown Portland is about a 25-minute drive (~17 miles) and the airport is around 20 minutes (~13 miles) away. It’s an easy drive to many of the area’s popular destinations.

• Public Transit: If you prefer public transportation, the MAX Blue Line light rail connects Gresham to Portland’s city center. The nearest MAX station is a short drive from the house (with Park & Ride parking available). There are also local bus lines in the area.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are readily available here. A ride to downtown Portland typically takes ~20 minutes, so getting around without a car is still convenient.

Biking/Walking: Take advantage of the nearby Springwater Corridor Trail for car-free travel to local parks and neighborhoods – you can even bike all the way into Portland along this scenic 21-mile path! We love using the trail for morning jogs and family bike rides.

• No parties or events. This isn’t a party house – we enforce quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am to respect our neighbors.

• No smoking. Absolutely no smoking is allowed anywhere on the property.

• For your safety, we have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed (along with other standard safety features). We appreciate guests treating our home with care so everyone can enjoy it.
