Silver Falls is an Oregon state treasure, and one of the most visited parks. Enjoy a memorable experience when you stay in this peaceful, unique place. Our hidden gem is surrounded by the forest, in the foothills of the cascade mountains, directly across from Silver Falls State Park. A short 1/2 mile walk will bring you to the North Falls parking lot, or use our pass for free parking anywhere within the state park.
The space
Enjoy your stay at our luxury suite. We chose every detail with you in mind. There’s a small living room, with a TV/DVD player, to relax after a day of hiking, and a bedroom with a queen bed. Listen to Silver Creek (across from us) from your open window. The couch pulls out into a queen sized bed, as well.
Guest access
Guests have complete use of driveway in front of their private entrance. No more than two vehicles on the property. Use of side yard to the left of the apartment, up the concrete stairs. Back yard is private, family use only.
Other things to note
We do not have a kitchen, but we do have a kitchenette, complete with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee/keurig pot, hot water kettle, and toaster. Dishes, silverware, and other utensils provided. Dishes and mugs are microwave safe. There is a gas grill outside, for guest use. Please do not bring/use hot plates, instant pots, crockpots or any other type of cookware.

This beautiful Guest House is set on a large historic organic farm just one hour from Portland, Oregon. The property is surrounded by stunning landscaped grounds, mature trees and expansive lawns and gardens.

It is surprisingly spacious and equipped to a very high standard, including free high speed internet that allows guests to stay connected via their cell phone. My staff and myself go above and beyond to make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned! We wash off everything! Always have and always will... From light switches to all door handles, my staff and myself are diligent! So rest assured, our property with be professionally cleaned and sterilized from top to bottom for your comfort and safety!

IMPORTANT: Please note that there is an additional guest fee for groups larger than 4 guests. The rate is per-person for the total number of booked nights, NOT per night. Please be sure that you have listed the accurate number of guests. Infants and children count towards the total number of guests.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow guest to use the white sofa for sleeping. (You may incur an additional fee)!

We have horses, chickens, and a friendly dog. We are happy to show you the horses, but please do not allow the dog; Kona inside the home or open any gates or visit the horses unattended.

We have a strict non cigarette smoking policy. Due to the high fire risk cigarette smoking is NOT allowed anywhere on the property or surrounding areas.

The Kitchen:
Guests will feel at home in the well equipped Gourmet Kitchen. The custom tile, marble countertops and Oak flooring throughout create a great space to cook a delicious family meal, or just hang out and enjoy the lovely views of the farm and pond from the kitchen window.

The Living Rooms:
There is a comfortable living room with a cozy down filled sectional sofa. TV/DVD player with a large collection of movies and lending library for your enjoyment.

*A separate family room creates an additional living space. Or a 3rd 'Bedroom' with a comfortable full sized Sleeping Sofa. It has access to the front porch with lovely views of the farm. An ideal place to sit and enjoy that early morning cup of coffee. Comes complete with fun board games, puzzles and a chess set.

Dining Room:
The gracious formal dining room has a large Refectory Table that seats up to eight guests. Ideal for hosting a dinner with family and friends in comfort and style!

Bedrooms:
The large Master Bedroom suite has a queen size bed with crisp cotton sheets, luxurious down comforters, pillows and a Wool Berber carpet. The master bath has a tub/shower. This stylish bedroom has access the deck and private Cedar Hot Tub through a French door.

*There is also an additional sleeping annex with 2 twin beds located off the master bedroom and is ideal for families.

The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed that is a handmade Luxury Mcroskey.

The 3rd' bedroom' is located in the front of the home.

The 2nd bathroom is conveniently located off the Laundry Room /Mudroom and has a large walk in shower. Host provides luxury style hotel amenities.

Outdoor Space:

This farm house is on a working nursery specializing in hardy palms and unusual plants. Wi Fi is available now as of summer 2020. There is a porch swing. The master bedroom has a crib available. There is a King bed in the master bedroom. One bedroom has a queen bed. The third upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds. Downstairs is a day bed sleeping 1. Off the kitchen is a nook that is facing south so it is bright and sunny there. This is a 1929 farm house with some remodeling and as such has period furnishings and bathroom doorknobs that do not lock. We are located 2 miles south of the Oregon Garden and approximately 25 minutes from Silver Falls state park. One bath has a tub the other a shower. Rates start at $135.00 for 2 people per night, each additional person is $15.00 per night with an 8 person maximum occupancy.

SPACE SPECIFICS:

This 1917 Craftsman Style home offers 2 upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen bed. These rooms share a large 2-sink full bath with shower/tub.

On the main level is the living room with smart TV, games and books, and a window nook with bistro table. This space flows into the dining area and a large half bath.

Off of the dining room, the dedicated office space is perfect for quiet down time. This area is bright and cozy, complete with desk, smart TV, a papasan chair, and attached full bath.

The large full kitchen flows off of the dining room as well. Fully equipped, this kitchen offers ample storage and work space, stainless steel appliances including dish washer; toaster, Keurig coffee maker; electric hot water kettle; cooking and baking essentials; dish ware and utensils. A grill is available on the back deck.

The back deck is accessed by passing through the mud room (which has a new washer/dryer and iron w/board).

Adirondack chairs can be enjoyed on the covered front porch; the back attached deck has a grill and seating area with umbrella; the mostly fenced-in back yard has seating around a fire pit (guest supplies wood). Long driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles.

The home features central air and portable fans to augment separate upstairs heat/cooling pump for those really hot summer days.

Guests experience contactless check-in and check-out. Access is via key code and I make myself available via the app and text if you have questions.

Other things to note
Due to the age of the plumbing system, please ONLY flush toilet paper down toilets. Please do not flush ANY wipes, Kleenex or sanitary products as these can lead to unpleasant and costly backups.

Fire wood is supplied by the guests and is available at local grocery stores.

**PETS
Our dogs are family as well, so they are welcome at the Charmer. One dog up to 50 pounds may be present during your stay for an additional pet fee of $25 nightly. If your dog is coming with you, you MUST include him/her when noting the number of guests on your reservation in the TRAVELERS box.

I want everyone to enjoy the yard, so thank you for picking up any pet droppings.

Master bedroom with Queen size bed, upstairs loft with 2 extra long twin beds, and twin size daybed in living room with twin trundle. Kitchenette has microwave, toaster, coffee maker, suitable for breakfast and heating up food. Full size fridge. Minimum stay 2 nights, Maximum stay 4 nights. This is a private guest cottage separate from our residence. Experience a taste of county life with Dogs, Cats, Alpacas, Goats, Turkeys & Chickens on our 9 acre's. Note for guests: While we are not “ off the grid”, we can and do loose power, have sketchy cell service and problems with * Wi fi. We do have a generator which will run the essentials. The downstairs is heated and cooled by a new mini split and will sleep 4 guests comfortably. There is a window air conditioner in the loft upstairs, but on hot days it still gets very stuffy and warm. We are in the COUNTRY, bugs and critters live here. We do not use Herbicides or Insecticides as we are a home to Bees. We our best to keep unwelcome visitors at bay, but sometimes they drop in uninvited. For guests who have allergies- we do have cats and dogs- and seasonally there is field buring in the area. PLEASE read the welcome email from VRBO that you will receive prior to your stay. It will have detailed directions and contact numbers, the property can be challenging to find.
We have been having major issues with Wi-fi, so while there is a booster in the guest house we can’t guarantee you Wi-fi, thus we have removed it from amenities.

The home was built in 1915. My grandparents Norman and Margaret Grambusch purchased this home in the early 70's and they raised their children here. When I was in elementary school my mother, sister, and I moved in with them. I have many fond memories living here as a child and visiting here as an adult with children of my own. The home was sold in 2014.

Early 2020 I had the opportunity to buy the home and return it to our family. My I have fully updated the paint, flooring, counters, appliances, and installed air conditioning. It was sad to make so many changes to everything my grandma had done over the years but it needed a fresh look. The one thing I refused to change was the tile in the bathroom. About 30 years ago I watched my grandpa lay every tile for my grandma.

This delightful tiny home offers two sleeping areas; one cozy bedroom on the lower level with a queen bed, and an open lofted area with a full bed (requires climbing a ladder). The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer. Towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience. The Big Tiny also offers a full kitchen with a stove, oven, full-size fridge, coffee maker and all of the kitchen basics. - "Very peaceful and would stay there again! " - "Very quiet and lovely view " - "Wish we could have stayed longer! " - "I liked the privacy aspect and the layout of the big tiny house. There was sufficient coffee, creamer, and sweeteners. There was a tea selection, although it was small. There was cold, bottled water, and sodas in the fridge when we arrived and a water filter with cold water in the fridge, which was awesome. However, the kitchen was not well supplied. I could not find the items I needed to cook. Also, during our stay they had the septic tank pumped which was very unpleasant and smelly. Sitting on the porch, looking out was nice, but in my peripheral vision were solar panels, a huge pile of dead wood, and in the morning there were workers spraying chemicals in the fields. Also, this is advertised as a lavender farm, but there was no lavender visible from the big tiny house. The TV was also very tiny, and had Roku. I had to use my own accounts for Netflix and Max to be able to watch anything decent without commercials. However, all in all it was way better than a hotel but there’s definite room for improvement."

Once the site of a Native encampment, guest will enjoy an authentic experience, as there is a lot of history here... We have often found arrowheads at this site!

There is access to parking by the 'Upper Barn'.
As this is a 'walk in' property, guest will be provided with a handy garden wagon for transporting luggage the 100 yards from the parking.

Think 'Green'... This spacious 22 ft Tipi is 'Off Grid' but has a fully charged battery that will run the LED lights and charge your phones, etc.... And there are also heaters to keep you warm and toasty inside the unit.

Guests will access the Tipi through our meadow and will be provided with a garden wagon to transport their gear.

We will provide guests with fresh water from our Natural Spring and an Ice Chest inside the Tipi.

Guests will have exclusive use of a stylish bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen located in our 2015 'Retro' Airstream... The Airstream is located near the parking area and is just over 100 yards from the Tipi.

My staff and myself go above and beyond to make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned! We wash off everything! Always have and always will. From light switches to all door handles, etc... my staff and myself are diligent!

So rest assured, our property will be professionally cleaned and sterilized from top to bottom before your arrival for your comfort and safety!

The Airstream is in a great location behind our farm's 'Upper Barn' and is very private. There is a picnic table available outside the Airstream for outdoor dining, as well as a comfortable seating area inside the unit.

- "This location offers a beautiful opportunity to connect with yourself, the person that is with you, and nature. The tipi is absolutely stunning, with perfect amenities and the best small touches. The airstream is a great way to provide running water, a kitchen and a touch of civilization. It does have a slight water leak under the sink so be sure to check and empty the catch bowl regularly. The horses, dogs and cat all check on you in their own special ways. The full property is beautiful, offering other places to rent/stay. We walked around the property, made a quick drive into town for refreshments and a bit of cell service to check in with the house sitter. Other than that, our time was spent talking, coloring, playing games, eating and taking in what this space offered. This is a new favorite location for us and we will be back!"

Welcome to Hidden Grove Guest House. A beautifull industrial farmhouse style 1 bed 1 bath bardominium guesthouse situated on 19 acres of beautiful country property just 12 minutes to Silverton. The property is very spacious with 1,400 sq ft of space. It includes an upstairs master with a king sized memory foam bed and additional full sized memory foam bed, fully equipped chef's kitchen, desk/workstation with fantastic wifi, walking trails, an abundance of wildlife, fruit trees, and so much more.

The house features a large living room with 55" smart tv, a variety of comfortable seating, and a separate sitting area and desk/ workstation. Plese note that we are in the process of switching out the woodstove for a propane stove and ask that guest not use the woodstove at this time. Due to this there is no heating in the lower portion of the house. There are plenty of blankets provided and upstairs in the sleeping area there is a minisplit with heating and cooling. The sitting area has a smaller fold down couch that can be used as an additional sleeping space (twin size bed). There is a fully equipped chef's kitchen with propane stove, high end appliances, spices, pots, pans, plates, and everything needed to cook. Not much of a cook, no problem there is a great coffee maker with all the essentials provided. There is a dining area with table seating for 4 and a counter space that will also seat 4. The entire upstairs is a large master bedroom complete with large closet, king size memory foam bed, tv, a sitting area, an additional fold down memory foam full size bed, and a minisplit heating/cooling unit. The bathroom is downstairs complete with a large shower, sink, seperate water closet and a stackable washer and dryer.

The house also features high speed wifi, private on site parking, beautiful views, an abundance of natural light, puzzles, games, and a lending library.

The property features several walking trails, croquet, BBQ, outdoor furniture, covered porch, swingset, stunning views, privacy, seclusion, plenty of wildlife, a variety of fruit trees (you are welcome to fruit when it is in season), and is extremly peaceful with no neighbors in site.

Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your vacation one to remember.

Silverton features many delicious restaurants, monthly town events, nightly live music, Saturday farmer's market, nightly oregon crafter's market, antique stores, bakeries, microbreweries, parks, a bowling alley, and a movie theater. There is something for everyone and you can always find something fun to do.

BLM close by, Silver Falls State Park just 14 miles away, downtown Silverton just 9 miles away, a multitude of vineyards within 30 minutes drive, and Oregon Garden just 11 miles away, plus so much more all practically at your doorstep.

- There are no pets of any kind allowed
- We do not allow parties and visitors are only allowed for up to 30 minutes unless you have arranged something different with us ahead of time.
- There is no smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, pot, vapeing, etc...) allowed on the property. Failure to follow this rule will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
- We live on the property in the main house (across from the guest house) and will give you all the privacy and tranquility you desire, but please be aware that we have pets, farm animals, and children and they will be on the property and they do make noise and move about. This is also a smaller working hobby farm and we do run equipment and such, though we will do our best not to when guest are around.
- We want you to have an amazing stay and will do what we can to help accomodate that. Please just ask if you have any questions or requests.

My place is close to great views, the city center, and hiking at Silver Falls State Park. You’ll love my place because of the location, the outdoor space - the fire pit is a great hang out on a nice evening; the views, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
For breakfast, I provide coffee and toast/bagels. If you want something more substantial, you are welcome to cook in the kitchen.

The space
This upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with a pillow top mattress for a comfortable sleep, and also has a desk for your computer needs.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the closet to hang clothes or access more bedding if needed on a cold night. Also please feel free to use the computer desk and any drawers as needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cook ware for your use, and a shelf in the fridge is always available for guests. You are welcome to share living room, dining room and outdoor area.

During your stay
I am happy to interact with you during your stay, but respect the need for your own time and space while you are here. So if you need something, just ask.

Quiet neighborhood where my friends and neighbors commonly come over to sit by my fire pit, have an adult beverage, listening to each others stories (lies) and my relaxing water feature.
The bedroom is across the hall from a shared bath. I provide coffee and toast/bagels for breakfast - if you want something more substantial there are many local restaurants, or you are welcome to use the kitchen to cook a bigger meal if you desire.

The space
This upstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed with a firm mattress but a plush top. There is plenty of natural light along with a couple of chairs if you want to sit and read in your room. Great view out the bedroom window of Mt. Hood and St. Helens - on a clear day you can see Mt. Rainer.

Guest access
Besides your bedroom, you will also be able to access the kitchen and utensils, refrigerator space, and share living room space if you wish. You may be sharing a bathroom with guests in the other room. I have a neat outdoor space to sit and relax - day or night.

Private home in small community of 10,000 people. Wooded surroundings on about 3/4 of an acre. Downtown is about a one minute drive (1.5 miles) and has a 1940s theater, antique shops, Goodwill, thrift store, art gallery, restaurants...downtown area running along Silver Creek. Great place for privacy, solitude, or as a recharging station from hiking, bicycling, exploring.

The space
We only book one family/friends at a time with options for different sleeping options.
Trilevel home with upper-level bedrooms: upstairs larger room has new queen size bed, desk, dresser, 2 windows overlooking back yard and territorial view. Private bath just across the hall. Smaller twin bedroom available on same level and does not have heat or a/c. Laundry room and kitchen facilities also available. Full size bed on lower level with full bathroom (pictures coming soon). Can accommodate up to 5 people in a family/group. WiFi. Oregon Garden across street: entrance is one mile. Pet friendly: we do have a sweet friendly 11year old golden retriever Maizy, and 11 yr old adorable cat Julius.

We are about 60min southeast of Portland airport and 20min from Salem. The Oregon Garden is across the street but the entrance is about one mile away.

Silver Falls hiking is 15 miles away and definitely worth the trip. You can see several falls from the viewpoints. There is the Saturday Market downtown (one minute drive away), two city parks, city pool, awesome public library, and 25 murals around town.

Mount Angel Abbey is 15min away and Woodburn Outlet Stores are 30min away.

Silverton has several restaurants including Thai, Chinese, American, and Mexican. There is nightly live music at the Oregon Garden lounge.

My home is nestled on 3/4 acre of land: deer often seen grazing in neighborhood. Hummingbirds in yard during summer months as well as the occasional skunk! Nearby neighbors have chickens (you will hear them if you leave your windows open!)

There are touches of international flavor throughout the house from my travels mostly to central America as my son-in-law is from Panama and my younger son has lived in Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia and he is currently living in Vietnam.

This light and bright cottage is 500 square feet. We have furnished it with high quality antique furniture and original artwork throughout.
The neighborhood deer are nightly visitors and can be seen frequently bedding down in large the back yard.
There is a full-size washer and dryer. Bathroom has a shower but no tub.

Designed to accommodate a day-sleeping night-duty nurse the room is double-insulated for noise and is extremely quiet and comfortable. Coffee and tea are provided. Filtered water is replenished daily. Room linen laundry is available to long-term guests. A refrigerator, toaster and microwave are set up outside the door to the room, in the garage. Guests are welcome in shared spaces: garden, on the patio, and in the sitting room and porch which are in the main house and adjacent to the garden.

Welcome to our lovely, quiet, creekside home overlooking Silver Creek. Easy walk to downtown restaurants, movie theater, galleries & antique shops. Short drive to Oregon Gardens, wineries, hiking & Silver Falls. Artistic home with a goofy dachshund.
We are happy to welcome your pet(s) on a price per night, per pet. Please let us know about the size of your pet and how you will be responsible for your pet. We have had to recently add this policy due to some ownership neglect.

The space
Lovely newly remodeled large bedroom with private hand tiled bathroom with queen size, comfy bed. Built in desk area. Plenty of storage in room.
We often block out dates when we travel, so it never hurts to ask if we are available-We also take guests for long term stays.
There may be another room available upstairs without private bathroom for longer stays- inquire for availability.

Guest access
There is ample parking in front as its a long piece of property. Only we ask not to park across from our neighbors driveway and we park right in front of the house. We have a rental cottage in the driveway and that is for our tenant. Also best not to park near the mailbox- as it’s where they pick up the waste bins.
The backyard is small and has lots of flowers in the spring thru fall for you to enjoy and relax in. We try to keep it lovely and hope that is your intention as well. If you take your pet outside- please keep them out of the flower beds and clean up after every time they poop. They should not be left unattended.

You may use the washer and dryer for one load a week or if you are staying monthly you may wash the bedding and towels with our laundry detergent. Additional laundry loads we need to charge$5.00 per load (wash & dry) as water rates are high in Silverton. You should provide your own laundry detergent for your clothing.
We have a coffee maker that makes espresso/americano that we will be glad to show you how it works. Or at times we take our coffee maker when we go away & leave a glass drip for your convenience.
Kitchen may be used to cook meals as long as you clean up. Thanks! Also guests have their own refrigerator in room.

Privacy is respected but we also enjoy friendly conversation. Sometimes we're here, sometimes not.

One goofy dachshund that meets you at the door. Just say hello and he’ll go back to his bed.

Heidt's Corner is less than 15 minutes to Silver Falls State Park and we are about 20 minutes from the city of Silverton! Nearby is great hiking or mountain biking with some fantastic views. Our place is great for couples, medium sized groups or families (with children). You will love the cozy atmosphere and scenic location.

Heidt's Corner is a little apartment on the side of a house in the Silverton Hills.

There may be farm work or property maintenance happening around you but you will have the apartment as well as a covered outdoor seating area to yourself.

Please note that cell phone service is not very good. however we do provide WiFi through Starlink.

Access is easy and close to the road, pull right down the short driveway and park by the front door to the apartment. The apartment is located on the left side of the main house.

No smoking or vaping inside the apartment but feel free to smoke on the porch.

Please note that the main house is also a functioning Airbnb but guests have their own entrance, driveway, parking, and indoor and outdoor spaces.

This listing is located on a farm so there could be farmwork or property maintenance going on during your stay.

We are up in the hills outside of Silverton so cell phone reception isn't the best. We do provide wifi but it is through T-Mobile and can be spotty at times depending on weather and other factors.

We designed this space to be relaxing and peaceful.
The neighborhood is quiet, and the backyard is private with tall trees and a 7' fence, string lights, a fire pit and hot tub plus a place for your four-legged friends to play.

The interior is thoughtfully set with mood lighting throughout, local art, hand made everything, high end bathroom with floor to ceiling tile and little nooks to study, read or cuddle up.

There is a dog park down the road a couple of blocks with a playground for kids and tons of room for the pups. You will often meet deer in our neighborhood.

There is a creek access just 100 feet from the front door too!

Silverton Reservoir is a 5+ minute drive on the way to the falls and great for paddles boards!

Obviously, we love Silver Falls and have a parking pass for you to use, but we also have to recommend Abiqua falls if you feel adventurous.

Several shared seating areas along the water & outdoor spaces to enjoy.

Inside the cabin you have access to solar/battery power via USB ports. The cabin is equipped with a camp style coffee maker, outdoor camp stove, extra dishes/silverware, pots & pans, and a large private deck. We will keep the diesel tank full for your heater during your stay. Propane included for the camp stove. We have spare bottles if yours runs low. No running water in the cabin, There is access to a full bathroom with running water in the shared area. The property is located off of Highway 213, during busy hours there is potential for road noise.

You will have access to the shared “cook shack” cabin. It has everything you need to prepare meals; double sink, microwave, popcorn maker, hot dog cooker, small 4-burner propane stove w/oven, grill outside, & extra dishes/silverware.

Fold up bed available upon request for 3rd guest.

This beautiful townhouse is literally a few steps from the Historic Downtown and is a gorgeous 25 minute drive to Silver Falls State Park, various wineries, and within walking distance to the Oregon Garden. Take a stroll downtown for wine and dinner, sitting outside enjoying the sounds of the rushing Silver Creek below. Walk to the Saturday Market for fresh local produce when in season. If you want to stay local simply park your car in the garage and walk or bike everywhere.

The entire home is yours, with the exception of 1 bedroom which contains our personal belongings. All bedrooms are located upstairs. Because of allergies, pets are not allowed. The space
The cottage is fully updated and fully equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master bedroom is adjacent to the master bathroom. Also available to guests is a twin size rollaway bed accessible in the closet of the 2nd bedroom with bedding. A washer/dryer is also available in the second bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen features a spacious kitchen island, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher included), cooking & baking essentials, Keurig coffee, and Oregon-inspired cookbooks for all your culinary aspirations.

Inside your cabin you’ll have a queen size bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, Coleman 2-burner camp stove +pots/pans, and a “Glamping” style toilet. No running water inside the cabin. No air conditioning. There is access to a flush toilet, running water, and shower in the shared restroom area. There is a purified water dispenser in your cabin. Nice private deck and several seating areas along the water for you to enjoy. The property is located off of Highway 213, during busy hours there is potential for road noise.

Fold up bed available upon request for 3rd guest.

No parties, no smoking inside the cabin, & no events. Pets are welcome with pet cleaning fee. Quiet time is 10:30P.M.

This serene property backs up to Abiqua Creek just outside the charming town of Silverton. Enjoy country living at its best five miles from downtown. Peruse the spectacular Oregon Garden or take a hike through the breathtaking Silver Falls State Park while you're here.

The property is heavily treed for privacy with wide open spaces and patios in the front and back yards. An orchard out front includes mature apple, pear and plum trees that guests can pick and eat seasonally.

Inside, enjoy a wide open floor plan with quirky charm and spectacular bay window views of the property and surrounding hills. The house includes a spacious kitchen and 2 queen beds, a futon and an air mattress.

Guests have access to our day-use parking permit for all Oregon State parks, including Silver Falls State Park. The replacement fee is $50.00, so please be sure to return it to the "KEYS" hook before your stay is over.

We had to change our dog policy because we had too many negative experiences that involved dogs and damaged items. If you have a special request or a service animal, please send us a private message.

We offer a quiet, private and comfortable 600 sqft studio suite upstairs in a separate structure away from the main house. The room includes a comfortable, king-size bed with Tempur-pedic™ mattress, white cotton sheets and Pendleton™ blankets. A kitchenette with micro-wave, air-fry oven, and dinette are also provided. The studio includes dormers that overlook the family garden, goat barn, and pond. The east windows overlook our back yard, a lily pond and secluded spots to relax and enjoy.

The space
On our 2.5 acre "farm" property we milk Alpine and La Mancha dairy goats. We have a steady clientele that purchases our raw goat milk, chèvre cheese, feta cheese, ricotta cheese, buttermilk, kefir, kefir yogurt, chocolate goat milk, and cajeta (a mexican caramel sauce).

We have a beautifully landscaped back yard with lots of places to walk, sit and talk, view our lily pond, or just relax in the shade of the oak and fir trees. In the afternoon and evening you may be able to hear the low droning of our American bullfrogs in the lily pond or catch a glimpse of a great heron or wild mallard ducks visiting our duck pond.

Other things to note
The farm can be a busy place starting early around 7am and going all day until 9pm at night. Goat milking starts at 7:30 am every morning and 6:00 pm every evening. Our farm store opens at 10:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm. Saturdays are busy getting ready for and participating in the local Silverton Farmers Market which goes from from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in summer months and 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the winter months. However, do not be concerned about the hustle and bustle around here. Your studio apartment is well insulated from the noise and the commotion. And in the evening here it is very quiet and peaceful - a true country setting.

The cottage is very private, behind the main residence. It features a bright, clean interior with a staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. The main level has a small kitchen, bathroom with full shower, dining for up to 4 people and a comfortable sofa bed. The property has both heating and AC upstairs and down and is WiFi equipped. Upstairs AC added mid- July.

Enjoy your stay at our luxury studio. We chose every detail with you in mind. There’s a small living room, with a Smart TV for streaming, and a DVD player with some movies provided, to relax after a day of hiking, a queen bed, and the couch pulls out into another queen sized bed. There is a well stocked kitchenette and the bathroom boasts a roomy shower. Listen to Silver Creek (across from us) from your open window.

Guests have complete use of the concrete double driveway in front of the private entrance. No more than two vehicles, unless previously arranged. Shared space use of side yard to the left of the Airbnb, up the concrete stairs. Back yard is private, family use only.

We do not have a kitchen, but we do have a kitchenette, complete with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot/keurig, hot water kettle, blender, and toaster. Dishes, silverware, and other utensils provided. Dishes and mugs are microwave safe. There is a gas grill outside, for guest use. Please do not bring/use hot plates, instant pots, crockpots, or any other type of cookware.

We are above 1600 feet elevation and can occasionally get snow from November through March and even sometimes April. Please consider purchasing the travel insurance for your protection in the event of inclement weather. Refunds will not be given, outside of refund period, due to weather-related events.

The space
Our home is on 3/4 of an acre, was the original farmhouse in the area back in 1901 and was surrounded by 15 acres of apple trees before the city of Silverton was developed. The guesthouse is a studio that’s detached from (but next to) the main house. There is a separate entrance with self check in. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of town but close enough to walk to the historic downtown area. There are also two beach cruiser bikes available with helmets and locks if you would like to use them to explore.

The backyard (where the hot tub is located) is very private and completely fenced. The guesthouse is more like a tiny house in that it is 309 sq feet but includes a small kitchen, a full bathroom and a walk in closet! The kitchen has an apartment sized refrigerator, gas range, microwave, coffee pot and a toaster oven. The bed is a comfortable, queen Casper mattress and there is an air mattress in the closet for additional guests. (Since the the unit is a studio, it’s best suited for 1-2 guests but if you don’t mind taking up space with the air mattress it can accommodate 4 total guests.)

Enjoy the robes for use with the hot tub. In the summer you are welcome to pick a handful of blueberries from our garden or use the BBQ, lawn chairs and fire pit with some roasting sticks for your marshmallows. We have a complimentary Starz subscription if you would like to cozy up inside during your stay, as well.

The space
Within this 2 story house, you'll notice that we got the details right. With custom artwork, a hidden room, books and instruments galore, you'll have everything you need for a happy stay in Silverton.

Just past the front threshold, you step into a mixed use living and dining room area. This room has the essentials and much more: comfortable chairs, cozy couch, TV, dining table and fully stocked game cabinet. Sink into the wingback chair with a photography book and a blanket. Pick up the guitar, ukulele, banjo or hand bells and lose yourself in the music.

As you move into the hallway, you might notice a bookshelf with a secret. Pull the right book and the bookcase becomes a door! More books, toys, and surprises inside.

Further along the hall is our 1st floor bathroom, which features a custom walk-in shower and everything you need to get ready for the day. You'll find plenty of storage space within the medicine cabinet for your personal bathroom supplies.

Past the bathroom, you'll find a full kitchen with enough space to cook whatever your heart desires. No caffeine deprivation in the morning with both drip coffee and tea options provided. When you're ready to brew your favorite hot beverage, you'll have a difficult time choosing which handmade ceramic mug is your favorite.

Tucked away next to the full-size fridge is a wash/dryer combo unit in case you need to launder any clothes while you're here. Detergent is provided.

The back door will lead you to a slated stone patio with seating if the weather is accommodating. The back patio is fully enclosed and accessible from the back door as well as lockable gates on each side of the house.

Both bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom are located upstairs.

The front bedroom has high ceilings and a queen size bed. It faces east and gets beautiful morning sun. Blackout blinds and velvety green curtains can be used to block out the light if you enjoy sleeping late. A simple yet elegant solid-wood desk and comfortable chair are available if you need a dedicated work space during your stay.

In addition to buttery soft sheets and both firm and soft pillow options, each bedroom has a dresser, sound machine, air purifier, hangers, extra blankets, luggage rack, and even bins with toys/activities. We hope you leave thinking, "They thought of everything!"

Inside the 2nd bedroom, you'll find a queen bed with a twin bed lofted over top.

Both bedrooms have the space to set up a pack-n-play if you're bringing a toddler along.

Between the two bedrooms and just off of the upper landing, you'll find a compact full bathroom. If you need a soak, here is where you'll enjoy the property's only bathtub. In addition to a fan, we've installed a Japanese-style wall sound machine in case you want to keep your private noises private. With full transparency

We are located a short distance from McGinnis Field, which is home to many sporting events for the local schools during the Fall and Spring. During these events, the scene is lively and the stadium lights might be on. This is part of Silverton's small town charm. Listening to the distant cheering might bring a smile to your face and make you want to wander over for a hot dog and some popcorn. But if this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, you could close the blinds and turn on the sound machines (which block out almost all of the noise and light).

Beyond the local sports teams, Silverton and the surrounding area hosts many exciting events throughout the year.

Every weekend, from May to September, there is a local Crafter's Market downtown with live music, food, and a lovely atmosphere. On a Saturday, you could venture to our award-winning Farmer's Market as well.

You could come to enjoy the largest Oktoberfest event in the state, just 20 minutes down the road in Mt. Angel.

Or you could come for the annual holiday craft event at Silver Falls State Park and walk away with a free wreath, birdhouse, ornament, and sugar cookie!

Don't miss the Holiday Lights at the Oregon Gardens with craft vendors, dry tubing, bonfires and beer gardens, and hot apple cider.

Beyond the abundant local events, this house is just a 10 minute walk from downtown.

Silverton has a quaint small town feel with many thriving local businesses. If you like to shop, you will find several antique shops and home goods stores along with a used bookstore. Unbeknownst to most, Silverton has one of the top vintage clothes dealers in the nation so stop by Daylight Vintage to meet the owner and upgrade your wardrobe.

For food, you can hit the one of several local coffeeshops, each with their own unique twists. If you need libations, you can choose from a number of bars, upscale pubs, a local brewery. Silverton restaurants cover classic American fare but also Thai, Mexican, and Japanese.

If you are looking to get out a little further than walking distance, this house is located just 13 miles from Silver Falls State Park and less than 2 miles from the Oregon Gardens. Both places have much to offer year-round.

We offer 4 rooms available to book separately plus 2 glamping units.(each sleep three). Inquire about booking more than one room. We feature two outdoor living rooms, dining areas, waterfront decks, and rocking chairs on the riverfront. Picnic areas and barbaques available. Hot breaksfast served in the morning for our room guests. Please let us know if have a retreat or larger group to accommodate. Glamping units have double beds (bring your own bedding for Glamping units). Inside the lodge is a large Queen with a private balcony.

Inside your cabin you’ll have electricity, a queen bed, loveseat, TV/DVD combo, mini fridge, coffee maker, “Glamping” style toilet, and a foot pump hand wash sink. No running water in the cabin. No air conditioning. There is access to a flush toilet, running water, and shower in the shared area. There are several seating areas along the water in the shared area for you to enjoy. The property is located off of Highway 213, during busy hours there is potential for road noise.

You will have access to the shared “cook shack” cabin. It has everything you need to prepare meals; double sink, microwave, popcorn maker, hot dog cooker, small 4-burner propane stove w/oven, grill outside, & extra dishes/silverware.

Fold up bed available upon request for 3rd guest.

No parties, no smoking inside the cabin, & no events. Pets are welcome with pet cleaning fee. Quiet time is 10:30P.M

There are several shared spaces for you to enjoy on the property; Community fire pit, gazebo, and shaded seating along the bank of the Abiqua. These spaces are shared with guests staying in other cabins on site.

This cabin is located near a body of water in a wooded area, there are spiders and bugs in the area. We do our best to keep them out of your cabin, however, they may find their way in.

Please check with host if you will need parking for more than 2 vehicles or if you are traveling in an oversized vehicle (RV/Camper).
