The kitchen is well laid out with new appliances and dishes/pots/pans, and a beautiful central island for gathering. The game table was well-loved by our kids, as was the large and safe play structure outside, which was enjoyed by kids between 3-8 years old (shout out to tan bark). The beds were comfy and linens were clean. Bathrooms well stocked with full size shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body wash, and even an extra toothbrush and toothpaste (which we didn’t need, but thoughtful touch). Host Kyle was friendly and responsive. Neighborhood is quiet and serene. Highly recommend!"

Our home is nestled in the outskirts of Kelso/Longview Washington. We have a duplex with long term downstairs tenants, and you would have full access to the upstairs. Our chickens are excited to have visitors. We believe that our home is perfect to host a group or family. We have attempted to add as many options as possible to keep everyone entertained and encourage FUN for your trip. The kitchen and the large layout of the home is perfect for hosting a get together that will bring everyone closer during your stay! We can't wait to host you!

Although we live close by, we want to allow you the most privacy. We allow you to utilize keyless coded entry. There is a basement Long Term Tenant. Please park on the far-left hand side of the house. There is room for multiple parking spots. While the side door is the most convenient entry due to parking, guests will be able to allow guests or visitors to enter at the very majestic front door entryway as well.
We are utilizing Kyle as a cohost to keep communication quick and prompt.

One large living room with TV and multiple seating areas and large comfy couches. There is a decor only wood stove. Large 8-person table and we have 3 seats around a large breakfast bar in the kitchen. Kitchen includes all cooking utensils for cooking in. Two full bathrooms and a third bathroom that is attached to the primary bedroom that has a large jetted tub with extra large walk in shower. We also provide a Queen-sized air mattress that can sleep 2 people as well as a closet that you can locate a Pack and Play, best use for babies or toddlers. The game room has a ping pong/pool table, board games, foos ball table, karaoke, weights and bands with an exercise bike. There is plenty to entertain your entire family. We know that the whole group will feel at home in this spacious retreat!

The home was filled with great quality appliances... comforters and sheets and everything in between. The house was quiet and even though not the best neighborhood we felt totally safe. - "Host was able to return my msgs in a short period of time. Unit was clean and offered a great price. I would stay there again if the opportunity arose. " - "Condo was amazing just like the photos, conveniently near shopping. Great parking and love the the upstairs lofts. 4-1/2 Stars" - "We worked around issues so that the unit met our needs. Check-in instructions imply that access should be through the building and unit front doors. Though, we found the unit key in the lockbox at the back door. The unit is described online as 3 bedrooms; it's two bedrooms with a loft that was empty except for a desk. The unit is also described online as having 2 queen beds and a double sofa bed while the in-unit instructions describe a single person fold-down sofa. The sofa is NOT a sofa bed or a fold-down sofa; it has a recliner on each end. A note was left that the extra linens, towels, and washcloths were in the dryer. Though, the items were still wet in the dryer because EVERYTHING (blankets, sheets, towels, and washcloths) were in the dryer as a single load. I had to separate the "bundle" and dry three separate loads. To accommodate our family of four adults (grandmother and 3 adult grandchildren), we bought an air mattress for one grandson, and grandmother slept on the sofa. Otherwise, the unit was clean and conveniently located for our plans."

- "We booked last minute for just 2 nights during the week. Place is cute and clean pictures are accurate looks the same. ?? Nieghborhood questionable yet it was quite and nobody messed with our car/property, so what can we really say. Place is clean and spacious has all the basics you need. Do have 2 small suggestions a sponge 🧽 for kitchen so can wipe down things, and small bar of soap or small body wash would be very nice to have. Only downside real issue is fluctuation on water temperature neither one of us ever got a real hot nice shower. We questioned if due to it is a 4 unit building and maybe all using same line? We don’t know. Overall was nice place 👍"

- "We needed a large place to stay in order for our family to be together for my mother’s funeral. The house and condo were exactly as listed and pictured. At one time, we had 3 adults downstairs and 5 adults upstairs. We did most of our cooking and eating upstairs, so I hope we didn’t mix up the cookware too much! It was very comfortable for all - enough room to gather, or be separated. And the deer! We had a mother deer and her two youngsters visit every day, and even caught a glimpse of the buck. The setting is beautiful - we sat a lot on the porches and enjoyed the ambiance. We took a couple of walks around the neighborhood, too. The location was near where we needed to be (but Longview isn’t that big anyway). All in all, even though the occasion was not the happiest, the house was wonderful for us to gather as a family that doesn’t see each other often."

- "The place met our needs but we had a few bumps. It was raining when we arrived and check in instructions said to park in one of 3 spots in back. Walked through muddy yard to front entrance and found a note inside that parking was the one designated spot in the front. I messaged host for tips on getting the eurocouch upstairs to lay completely flat and did not get a response. There was also only one half roll of toilet paper, with location for extras empty. We were happy to replenish and will likely stay again when in town for work."

- "Beautiful apartment hidden in the trees. Sauna was a great way to relax at the end of the day. We were able to do the laundry that comes with 3 kids. We did have some louder upstairs neighbors but overall the stay was super nice." - "We were disappointed with this stay. Unfortunately there were things that were just not great. The listing showed a different couch which when we got there was a leather couch- so totally wrong vibe but whatever… not a big deal. The listing showed a jacuzzi tub and sauna. Sauna worked great- but the jacuzzi tub was a bust… there wasn’t enough hot water so we only filled it up like maybe less than half- had to wait forever.. that we just decided Nevermind… There is no thermostat to control the temp in the unit. While the host was quick to respond to that concern it just felt like that was weird.. and then up till about 11:30pm there was just loud noises from the above unit and lots of footsteps that sounded like stomping- then as we were hoping to get a full night of uninterrupted sleep- and not being woken up soo early in the morning- we were woken up at 6am to loud footsteps all over from the above unit.. This was not a relaxing stay and felt like a cheap hotel with no regulation. Also upon arrival there was a huge spider in the room- the toilet looked unclean and the shower had residue everywhere.. for the price we weren’t expecting this.. Lots of things to consider when renting your home out to others. Hopefully you can make it better for future stays…"

This is your central hub to the beach, wine country, the Gorge, Seattle, Portland and surrounding mountains.

The Space:
Outside, our private deck and firepit provide an ideal spot to relax and sip your favorite beverage and take in the beautiful forest view. All new tempurpedic mattresses with three king size beds and two twin beds.

Guest Access:
Guest has full access to the main street level house. Note there is a second Air BnB unit on the lower level with separate entrance and access down the stairs on the left side of the house. Please be considerate of noise after 8pm.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet Safe Neighborhood just 1 mile from downtown. House backs to a wooded setting.

Other Things to Note:
There is a shared backyard that is not yet landscaped and is therefore not currently available for use.

Rocky River Retreat is a private cabin nestled on 3 acres of serene woods, on a bank of water with soft rapids and several swimming holes. Offering a peaceful, relaxing getaway. It’s perfect for escaping from your worries and enjoying nature at its finest.

Small but fully remodeled. This home has been remodeled from the studs up. It has 3 nice size bedrooms and 1 bath. All of the furnishings and appliances are brand new. This is a great place to kick back after a day of exploring the surrounding area - you can goo hiking, take walks along Lake Sacajawea, or take a drive to the coast. Mt St. Helens is not to far away. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area.

Ended up parking my boat at my cousins place as no way to park it at this place. I did ask the owner if there would be room to park my boat there and he never returned my message! Do not take a boat to this location!"
