Enjoy your stay at our modern farm bungalow with views of farm fields rolling down to the Willamette River. The kitchen overlooks the bar seating and a dining room with a wood table for 8+ and a huge living room, with gas fireplace, 75" flat screen TV with a thunderous sound bar, luxurious couches, game table and a massive Brazilian Rosewood coffee table. The great room has large windows overlooking a bustling historic urban setting surrounded by shopping, other beautiful historic buildings, eateries, and riverfront paths for biking or hiking. Peaceful setting among 10 acres with seasonal creek and spring makes this the perfect place to get away, enjoy nature, and get some R&R. Nestled in an established neighborhood and adjoining farm land. Enjoy the fresh air as you view the Willamette Valley from the deck, stroll the Japanese garden, or enjoy watching the fish and birds in the pond or water fountain. Feel free to explore the property, enjoy the gardens, and help yourself to the seasonal produce in the garden or blackberries, raspberries, & grapes in the backyard.

Our home offers a gourmet kitchen with Viking gas range and new stainless steel fridge, double ovens, dishwasher, & microwave in 2021. Vaulted entry and living room with plenty of space for the whole family. Help yourself to the books, dvd's, games, and toys located in the basement theatre room. Yamaha grand piano & piano music in the living room. The deck and outdoor barbeque area has ample seating. Guests have access to the entire house, minus the garage, master closet, and basement apartment. We are located in North Albany which is 5-15 minutes to OSU, Albany, or Corvallis.

If your special event exceeds 16 guests we charge an additional $2,000 venue fee (not to exceed 30 guests due to limited parking). This fee is an additional fee on top of the regular occupancy rate. (Occupancy rate is not to exceed 16 people). If this is something you’re interested in, let me know and I will send you an offer with the additional fee. This additional fee is for the event itself. You would be in charge of any additional garbage. We do not allow any rented equipment like chairs, tables, canopies, unless you have prior approval. Our home and gardens offer a perfect backdrop for weddings, receptions, family reunions, birthday parties, and/or special events…. But you will need prior approval and need to pay the additional $2,000 venue fee for the extra wear and tear on our home.

We have 3 outdoor cameras around the house. Please do not tamper with them. They are linked to our thermostat and we’ve had to get a repair man to service it in the past. Any tampering with the cameras or indoor electrical boxes will be charged a $500 fine.

We have a separate 800 square-foot basement apartment that my husband and I may stay in for a portion or all of your stay. This apartment has a separate entrance from the house. If we are in town you will more than likely not even know we are home because we are quiet and keep to ourselves. If you’re staying more than a week we will coordinate a time to mow the lawn so we do not disrupt any gatherings. There is an option to rent this space for an additional $350 per night. We only rent it to 5 star guests who are staying for at least a week. Message me if this is something you are interested in and I can send you a special offer. This space has a living room, kitchenette, one bedroom, and bathroom.

This is an excerpt from the Albany Visitors Association web page that tells about our wonderful area.

The Monteith Historic District is named after Thomas and Walter Monteith, two Scotsmen who traveled west from Albany, New York, in the 1840s and built the first frame house in the city in 1849. That house has has now been restored as the Monteith House Museum and looks almost the same today as it did when the Monteiths lived there, even including some of their original furnishings.
Other highlights of the Monteith District include stunning churches such as the Whitespires Church, (1891), known for its soaring spire and Carpenter Gothic architecture; and the United Presbyterian Church (1912), a Gothic-style stone building modeled after an English Gothic Cathedral. Both churches feature original stained glass windows. Don’t-miss residential architecture in the Monteith District includes the Cathey House, a 1906 Georgian Revival at 730 Washington. With its two-story portico and square columns, it’s sometimes called “The White House.”

Many distinct architectural styles grace the District. Included are Federal, Craftsman, Classical Revival, Gothic Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, French Second Empire, Stick, Eastlake, Colonial Revival, Rural Vernacular, Transitional Box, Bungalow, American Renaissance, Depression/WWII Cottages, and eclectic hybrids that combine elements of these styles.

This two bedroom remodeled downtown historic house, is a comfortable clean stay minutes away from all that Albany has to offer. You can cozy up in the living room with a book or a good show. - "We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is an older house that has been updated. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled and are very nice. Being an older home it was a bit drafty, but we were there during some uncharacteristic weather for this part of Oregon where the temperatures dipped very low. But they have heaters in all of the rooms, and there were plenty of cozy blankets. The location was very convenient for us. We would stay here again."

We also provided a full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, high chair, and a ball pit with 500 plastic ball pit balls for your little ones.
- We only have one security camera outside of our home - on the garage door, facing the parking lot with motion sensor. The camera will be on during your stay recording video and audio when there are motions. The camera is there mainly for security and insurance purposes.

There is the possibility of noise from nearby freeway traffic . We will not refund for noise complaints. The outside noise is beyond our control.

No parties
- 10pm local noise ordinance. All outside noise must be kept to a minimum after 10 pm. This is strictly enforced.

Very quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. conveniently located minutes to I5 and downtown! Plenty of shopping and parks just minutes away. 20 minutes to OSU campus, and Reeser stadium, Lebanon and Corvallis hospitals, 10 minutes to LBCC. 30 minutes to Salem. The home will have all you need to enjoy your time here in Albany.
The space
This home is family friendly equipped with kids bunk beds, and high chair. It does have stairs required to enter the home so it's not wheelchair accessible.

***IMPORTANT***
We would like to inform you and make clear to all guests, that there ARE multiple trains that pass through the back of the property at all hours of the day and night (hence the name, "conductor cottage".) We have provided white noise machines in each room to help with any noise during your stay. My wife and I live next door and have no issues with the train noise. With two kids under 4 neither of them wake up because of the train.

The train is a huge hit with kids! they love watching it go by! feel free to head out the backyard and check it out!

The bathroom is newly remodeled and is GORGEOUS! The fan has a built in bluetooth speaker so you can jam out while you're in there! Heaters and A/C are in every room. Each room also has smart TV's with Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu+TV. sports channels, kids channels and many more options.

We are located close to shopping, restaurants, parks and the fair grounds. Easy access to I-5 as well. This place is pretty quiet for being off a main road (except for work traffic between 6:45-8:45am). Weekends, always more quiet. We're next to a very quiet firehouse, which are thoughtful of the residents, they're hardly ever noisy.
*Pets/additional fee of $30 for one dog for the stay. Only up to 25lbs. If planning on bringing your dog, please notify before booking to confirm.

Other things to note
The beds in the our little RV are not very long. If you are a tall person your feet might hang off.
In case you are bringing a small child or a dog, there is no fence facing the road. We have fences on the sides and behind the RV.

No stairs to climb and separate entrance, this lovely studio suite is conveniently located close to the hospital and downtown Albany. The suite has been completely renovated with environmentally thoughtful finishes, such as cork flooring, granite counter tops and ceramic tile. The sleeping area hosts a queen size bed with high quality linens and cotton duvet. A new six drawer dresser will give you ample room to unpack and get settled. The living room area features a set of over sized comfy cushioned wicker chairs and flat screen TV with full cable service. The tiled bathroom has a 5’ wide walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, teak bench and safety grab bars.

The beautiful fully equipped kitchen has easy access to the back deck and patio in the back yard. In the kitchen, there is a two person dining table and chairs that also makes a great work space. Just out the french doors is a petite patio perfect for morning coffee. I provide coffee, tea, creamer, home made banana bread and juice to start your stay with ease. Ideal for 1 or 2 persons. Access to the house washer and dryer on request.

We are just 6 blocks from the Transportation center ( Amtrakt/ busses) and about 2 miles from. I -5.
About 10 blocks away is beautiful historic downtown Albany with a lovely park on the Wilmette River , our beautiful new carousel with animals carved and painted by volunteers, and many fun and interesting shops. Even though we are close to transportation and downtown many guests comment on the quiet and peaceful nature of the neighborhood.

The space
Lovely 1948 cottage in a quiet neighborhood very close to historic homes and downtown. Easy drive to shopping, the new carousel and Linn Benton Community College. Wi-fi avalible.
The guest room has a new (2018) Queen size bed, dresser and writing desk as well as a closet. What you must know is the host and house were both made in 1948 and both have occasional creeks and groans.
Guests will have access to all living spaces, living room, kitchen etc.

•Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come!

•DO NOT allow them into the bedrooms. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets in many locations and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free.

•We encourage you to bring your pets favorite bedding and blankets to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen!

•Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.

•Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you.

•The bathroom tub or showers are for humans only.

•When taking your pet out to the bathroom, please pick up after them. Other guests will greatly appreciate your taking responsibility for this.

•Lastly, please do NOT Leave them alone unkenneled. We offer Rover service , if you are going to be gone and cannot take your animal or kennel them. Let us know and we can arrange it!

This guesthouse was built in 1898 as a carriage house to facilitate the main house. It has been renovated and made into a beautiful, two-story guesthouse (834 sq. ft.). It is completely detached from the main house and has it's own private entrance and private back yard with patio.

The Carriage House has a fully-equipped kitchen with many amenities including: Keurig Coffee Brewer, pots and pans, a toaster, stove, oven, fridge and freezer, dishes, glasses and utensils.

The Carriage House also has wireless internet and a flat-screen TV.

The house is located in an historic neighborhood with wide streets and large trees. It is only a few blocks away from the Albany hospital, close to Corvallis and Lebanon, and has easy access to I-5.

This little charmer has one very spacious bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom and utility room. The renovated kitchen is fully stocked and well appointed.

This sweet ADU was built in 2023. It’s an easy walk to downtown Albany and close to everything, making it the perfect hub for your visit. Just a few blocks from downtown eateries, antique stores, the new Carousel and Monteith Park's free summer concerts. The location is perfect for exploring Albany. Pets are welcome to join your for an additional fee of $35 per small pet and $50 per large pet. Since this is a working farm with other animals, we ask that pets be monitored at all times while on the property for everyone’s safety.

If your pet stays inside the RV, and excessive hair or mess requires extra cleaning beyond our normal 60-minute turnover time, an additional deep cleaning fee of up to $50 may be added after checkout.

Lint rollers, hair brushes, and a vacuum are available for your use—we encourage you to clean up after your pet to avoid this extra fee.

We love animals and understand that shedding is normal, but this charge is only applied in extreme cases where extra time and effort are needed to prepare the trailer for the next guest.

October 1 - around April 1 the RV will be located in its winter spot that is back towards the barn. This is only about 200ft farther away from the lake and you will still have full access, we just have to move it for reasons of Mud and ability to drive to RV.

500 sq ft, Centrally located in Albany, blocks from the historic downtown district and a short drive from anything else in town. Short walk from a beautiful river trail/bike path. 1 spacious bedroom w queen bed (1 fold up twin on request) 2 smart tvs & WiFi, kitchenette (please know this isn’t a full kitchen). This is our back house and you may see us but we will give you all the privacy you want! We have 2 dogs that like to roam. We are near the train, you will hear it going by.

There’s a queen bed, 1 fold up twin bed set up upon request. Only entrance to the bathroom is through the bedroom. Bathroom and shower are on the smaller side-think the size of an RV shower. While we don’t have a full kitchen, our kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and hot plate, small fridge and freezer. We are close to the train, like most historic homes in Albany.
